OmegaWave
Well, since no one else has made a topic, I guess I will. Discuss the first Monster Hunter game to be released in the West since Tri was released over 2 years ago. I quite like it. I got the 3DS version since Wii U is still too expensive to be worth owning. You can tell from the addition of G-Rank that they nerfed Low Rank like crazy. Rathalos and Rathian went down super easy. And so did Barioth. I even noticed you don't need Fire Element to break Barioth's fangs anymore. Anyone else have the game? How far are you? What armor/weapon combo do you use? Tentacruel
Have it, but I haven't played much. I pretty much just did the tutorial. Looking fun so far, but I'm still rather overwhelmed by everything.
Piercer of the Heavens
I have it as well, but on the wii u. As of right now I am HR 4. It is fun and I'm like all the new things. You are right, the monsters got nerfed in health. I only upgraded my starting hunting horn once and beat the bear(forgot name) and Great Jaggi each in under five minutes. Lagiacrus only took me around 10-15. This might also do that I have gotten better at monster hunter, but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that their health got nerfed. OmegaWave
Their health got nerfed because of the inclusion of G-Rank. If their health stayed at Tri levels, then the game would be really difficult, especially at G-Rank where it's already difficult. I haven't even touched the Guild yet since i'm finishing Village High Rank first. Up to 8 star quests atm.
