Caught up with the first two episodes. (Forgot there wasn't one last Saturday because of Extra Life)

[spoiler=Thoughts on 1 & 2]

The first episode was pretty good, the animation is fantastic and I enjoyed Blake's reaction to her food. As for the fight itself, it was rather enjoyable, especially the finishing team combo.

As for episode two, the fights weren't the best in the world. My favourite part was Nolan's reaction when Peter and Oobleck were explaining Nora's semblance. As for the second fight, that wasn't that great either and I agree with Qrow; it was a mess, didn't help that Neptune was scared of water.

[spoiler=Thoughts on 3]

- The first thing I thought of when I saw the title was the smash comic; Brawl in the Family.

- I do think the fight in this episode was better than the fights in the previous episode.

- Vic certainly made Qrow a badass here.

- Looking at Cinder's screen when she was "rigging" the matchup, Team Cardinal also made it through to the doubles.

[spoiler=My Thoughts]Vic is PERFECT as Qrow. Sadly, Winter seemed almost BIPOLAR in her dialogue with Weiss.

Though seriously, Qrow dropped a huge bomb there. Adam's CONDITION? Does that mean that Cinder is somehow manipulating Adam? WHAT IS GOING ON?

[spoiler=Response]

Y'know that post would've been fine on its own, without a need to for my post to be quoted along with it.

All I know is that Cinder manipulated the matchup for her team, but yeah Vic is definitely doing Qrow justice here.

[spoiler=oh we are putting thoughts in spoilers now? fair enough]

The fight was cool, but not overly impressive in my eyes.

Qrow's weapon works exactly like I expected it to.

Definitely excited to see Coco again next episode. Assuming Pyrrha is around the same strength as the upperclassmen (though it hasn't been demonstrated much), and Pyrrha and Mercury being about an equal match, it should be a pretty even fight.

[spoiler=Response]Yup, I totally did. Either Cinder's virus can hack into Scrolls too, or Ironwood is in league with her.

Either way, something is really, really fishy here.

[spoiler=Response Response]

Agreed. I'm hoping its the former...cause if its the latter...oh man.

That and, towards the others who mentioned Adam, I'm fairly certain that Qrow might've said "Autumn's condition".

[spoiler=Yeah, but...]It could be. We have no idea why he'd work for her, though. Especially if she's the real enemy Qrow was talking about. Ironwood seemed pretty honestly convinced of doing the right thing... what could he want so badly to make a deal with the devil like that?

[spoiler=Perhaps...]He believes what he is doing really is the right thing.

Oh shoot, did I never make a post here about it? I guess I only made a status after reading the first chapter last week, whoops.

But yeah, it's really cool that they made a manga of it. The mangaka, Miwa Shirow, has some of my favorite art so I'm glad he's doing it.

This was the art he contributed to the Official Japanese Fanbook that was made for Comiket 87.

[spoiler=So, not sure if anyone here is an RT sponsor and has already seen the newest episode, but...]This episode was pretty cool. I knew Coco and the other dude were gonna get their butts kicked, but oh well. Coco's fan club was funny how they all had the berets and sunglasses.

Yang almost got a hint to the mystery lady from that photograph, oh snap.

But the most important thing was with Weiss. I really like Winter and her relationship with Weiss. Also, the whole summoning thing is really cool. So it deals with fallen enemies, which made me think instantly of the knight from her trailer. And right at the end she managed to summon a familiar looking sword, hm...

[spoiler=I was wrong]

Mercury was way stronger than we previously had been led to believe. Emerald didn't show much, but Mercury definitely provided a new scale for strength.

Also, this was a damn good fight. Best of the volume (though that isn't saying much) and just really, really good. Reminded me a lot of Blake and Sunn vs Roman.

[spoiler=So I'm late...]

The fight between Emerald and Mercury vs Team CFVY was awesome. I suppose we now know Emerald's semblance: mirages...makes sense given her character basis. That and Yuri as Mercury was an awesome choice now!

ARE WE EVER GOING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT YANG'S MOTHER SAID TO HER AT THE END OF VOL 2?! The stress is killing me! *points at Yang's trance state when Qrow showed the pic*

Also...Qrow talking about his adventures...amazing! B)

You're not as late as I am Chaos.

[spoiler=Thoughts on Episode 4]

- The fight between Emerald/Mercury and Team CFVY was pretty good. I do like how they gave us more focus on Mercury in this fight so that we can properly gauge his strength. Definitely one of the better fights.

- Qrow talking about his adventures with Team STRQ was pretty cool.

- I enjoyed the scene with Weiss/Winter. Winter seemed more relaxed around her sister as well as providing scope for Weiss' development regarding her semblance (which we learn is hereditary); summoning. Definitely the most important part of the episode.

Not sure if anyone has watched the latest episode yet...

[spoiler=Thoughts on Episode 5]

- Penny wasted no time in defeating Team CRDL, in fact the fight lasted 35 seconds, though I think we all suspected that Team CRDL would be eliminated in this round.

- I enjoyed the RWBY/FNKY match tbh. Neon Katt was fun, especially when she annoyed Yang and Flynt Coal was pretty cool too. (People have already made plushes of Neon as well) Neon Katt probably became my new favourite character.

- That last scene, definitely the most important scene of the episode was interesting because it moves the plot forward a bit as was the previous scene when Cinder wanted to make alterations to the plan after looking at Penny.

[spoiler=Shh]

Pyrrha is certainly looks like guardian material to me.
