Shradow
S***, well that isn't good. Though the X-Ray & Vav teaser that's still showing after the credits lifted my spirits. That mysterious sword lady, Yang's mom I'm guessing. Zwei, WTF? He got lit on fire and shot through a giant mech suit. I thought he was a normal dog. Didn't realize this until now for some reason, but Torchwick gives me a bit of a Handsome Jack vibe, and I like it. Also, the cane keeps getting better. Given that they're both RoosterTeeth stuff, before I even watched the episode the title made me think of:
Thar
Neapolitan stole the episode for me. So mysterious. So intriguing. ...and so intimidated by another mysterious and intriguing character. Meanwhile, Roman isn't the best fighter... or the best negotiator. Still kinda like him, though. Shradow
I think normally Roman would've done better, considering the last fight he had with her (and Sun), he just got surprised by Blake's new boolets. I thought it was pretty cool how he held a grown male a few feet up by the chin with the tip of his cane against that train.

Same here. Animation was a bit wobbly, but I didn't care. It was pretty badass.
NeoRWBY65
when the new mysterious woman came out, I paused to play this ...I'm still freaking out about all that happened.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Summer Rose. I feel like that is the only option. Red outfit, black hair, referenced on original trailer and re-referenced just a few episode ago. Weapon appeared like myrtenaster but a billion times more badass. NeoRWBY65
I disagree slightly I have seen several theories say it is Yang's missing mom. She has red eyes like Yang when she goes berserk. She saves Yang. She looks similar to the image that Yang has in the Yellow Trailer. PLUS, It is more implied that Summer died, while Yang's mom simply left. Shradow
Has Summer Rose not been dead since before the series began, shown in the Red Trailer? That was literally the first impression that I got from that trailer, I was like, "Aw, that girl's mom is dead." when I saw the gravestone that said "Summer Rose" on it. When Yang was talking to Blake about their past it sounded like that, too. EDIT: The wiki says she's dead.

Brinolovania
Neo has all of the swag. That was good stuff. This episode also proves that Tube Dog is the best character, and should go on an epic adventure alongside Coffee Guy.
Alice Moonflowyr
So I loved this ENTIRE DAMN EPISODE. As for New Challenger, I'm going with Summer. She was never actually confirmed dead, just that she 'left on a mission and never came back'. Plus, the color scheme.
Thar
Wow, how could I have missed the Ray reference in the title? Shradow's post makes more sense now.

She was never actually confirmed dead, just that she 'left on a mission and never came back'. Plus, the color scheme. The gravestone in the Red Trailer has her name on it and the wiki lists her as deceased. Even if she were alive, to me it being Yang's mom makes way more sense, with the way she looked at Yang before leaving.
Alice Moonflowyr
If I look at it really critically, it's probably Yangs mom. She also bears a STRIKING resemblance to the image of the woman Yang was looking for in the Yellow trailer. I just REALLY want to see it be Summer is all. (GigaDrillBreaker)
Well... who is to say that Yang wasn't looking for Summer? Plus, the amount of red and black on that character make me instantly want to associate it with Ruby.
