And considering I mainly watch anime that people say are amazing, that's saying something. It'd be nice if US television were made more towards the "We're making THIS much and no more" way. This is a great gateway anime and definitely one of the best shorter titles you'll find out there. I didn't cry at the end, but I felt like it. It's also transcended into mainstream status, as this has massively been blown up since I first saw it in early 2011, and I talked Angel Beats with 2 other anime fans the first time we've met.
