VictorSempra
IC THREAD: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/299336-soul-calibur-immortal-rivalry-icpg-13accepting/ Greetings YCMers! Lately, I've gotten back to a favorite series of mine, the Soul Calibur series. I remember as a kid my stepdad brought home Soul Edge, the very first game in the line, and I fell in love with the whole series. (So far, I have played Soul Blade, Soul Calibur, 2-5. Still need to play 1, Legends, and Broken Destiny.). I would love to experience a world of soul and destiny with this community. What say you, will you join the epic amazingness? THE PLOT After the events of Soul Calibur 5, the two swords, Soul Calibur and Soul Edge, were thought to be destroyed forever. However, the fragment carried by the evil being known as Nightmare germinated, causing the sword to begin a slow rebirthing process. Holed up in Ostrheinsburg Castle, the unholy knight became a cocoon of sorts, as his minions brought souls to resurrect the blade. Slowly, the castle became a breeding grounds for evil, as the sword's power and influence consumed and transformed the land. Evil souls were bred and born on these unholy grounds, and sought only to please their master by bringing more souls. On the other side, the group known as Schwarzwind led by the stoic Siegfried Schatuffen had found the pieces of Soul Calibur left behind by its' destruction, and swore to guard the pieces from the malfested. However, upon the return of the malfested in greater number, and the growing plight over Ostrheinsburg, the fragments have begun to glow, and each slain malfested, or "purified" soul, seems to cause the crystalline structure to grow a little more. Now, with teh two swords on the edge of emerging back into this world, which side will you choose, good or evil?
All YCM rules apply; STUPID THINGS THAT GO WITHOUT SAYING00. His skin bears the touch of the sun upon it, and as such is marginally darker than it would be otherwise. This contrasts remarkably with his strangely pale hair, almost white but just enough grey tint to grant it the appearance of being formed from strands of stone, tied back into a pony tail which hangs down to the small of his back. His face is somewhat unremarkable, save that the angles from his cheekbones to his chin are a bit sharper than average. Most startling are his dichromatic eyes, the left being a piercing emerald green and the right a dull amber. When it comes to attire, a pair of pants cut off at the knee and of a rather plain brown color are worn upon his legs whilst a pair of Geta are worn on his feet. As for his torso, a nondescript tunic of black cloth with any sleeves it may have had torn off is worn, and his head is topped with the standard conical straw hat when he is outside. He carries his sword in its scabbard, which is held against his lower back parallel to the ground by a plain grey sash. Biography: Yamataki doesn't have a surname, or at least he doesn't know it if he does. His earliest memory is of being left alone in a city by a woman he assumes to be his mother, and from then on life was hard for him. He wound up in a gang of children then, and lived as a street urchin for several years. They were good to him, and before long they had become the family he thought he'd never have. He went by his name then, and has since the day that he was abandoned with a few words. "Wait here Yamataki, I'll be back soon." Abandoned in that way, he was very quiet for most of his younger years and often troubled by thoughts of why the woman had never come back for him. Of course through his childhood he learned to fight, being a street urchin'll do that to ya. He ran across loss for the second time when he was about thirteen years of age, and an epidemic began spreading through the city in which he lived. All those members of his new family fell ill, but by either luck or the designs of heaven he avoided contracting it and was left with being forced to watch as the family he had built was taken away from him. Seeing how quickly life could be taken away had an impact on him, and from there on out he decided "to hell with this, I'm gonna have fun!" That decided, he found what he needed to provide for a life of having fun in a sword stolen from the local blacksmith. Sword in hand, he left that city and headed out into the world with no purpose in mind than having as much fun as he could. Some eight years have since passed, and the experiences of this life of his have left him stronger, faster and older though not much wiser. He still has that same sword, and it is a testament to its quality that the edge has never dulled. He's earned a reputation as a sell-sword, and knows every bit as much about why he was left alone as he did the day that it happened. The rumors of the return of the two swords has reached him, and he has decided that it could be worth his time to pursue those rumors wherever they may go. Personality: Yamataki isn't exactly the sort of person you'd ask to watch your kids. A few words used to describe him often enough are rash, foolhardy, hot-tempered, and a few less polite things here and there. He does his best to have a good time wherever he goes, and this often manifests itself in him being rather blatant with his advances towards the fairer sex and drinking a little too much. He doesn't react well when his good time is ruined, and often violence is his way of responding to such actions whether it be verbal or physical violence. When it comes to specifically physical violence, Yama's not afraid to use dirty tricks to ensure victory. He is rather outspoken, and quick to voice his opinion about a subject. Despite all of this, he has a soft spot for kids, particularly the less-well-off kids in society. Weapon: Affiliation: Neutral Other Information: He often goes just by Yama, meaning mountain. Yamataki's carefree lifestyle requires payment, and as such he often finds himself working in any number of aspects. You don't stay alive in his business by losing, and as such Yama has managed to avoid a loss. The man who commissioned Yama's sword does want it, and as such he occasionally finds hired thugs coming his way. This is Yamataki's theme.

Name: Sinn Alldin Age: 26 Gender: Male Appearance: Sinn is 5'11, weighing in at around 200 pounds. He's Latino in appearance. His hair is shaved very close to his head, and he has a goatee. he wears a black hooded cloak with a sleeveless leather tunic, white cloth pants, and heavy leather boots. He has a large scar on his back, starting at the apex of his right shoulder and curving down to the edge of the left side of his waist. The back of his hand has a tattoo of an eye with a lightning bolt above it. Biography: Sinn grew up completely alone except for a fourteen year old boy that took care of him when he was young. They lived in a wasteland, foraging for whatever food and water they could find. When Sinn was seven years old, he and the boy whos name he now has long forgotten encountered the rage of the being known as Astaroth. Astaroth murdered the boy, and nearly killed Sinn. He only escaped because of an accident, falling into the den of a cobra. The cobra was old though, and toothless. When he was fourteen, Sinn arrived in the city of Ostrheinsburg, where the two Swords of Legend, Soul Calibur, and Soul Edge, were clashing. The great climax ended soon after it began though, and whispers were abound of the Hero King Algol returning to reclaim his swords. Sinn was curious about this, and bribed a wandering warrior to train him in the ways of the sword. He never got the mans name, although he looked old, and spoke with intense wisdom. When he was 20, Sinn struck out on his own to find the Cursed Sword Soul Edge and the Spirit Sword Soul Calibur. He witnessed the great battle between Patroklos, the weilder of Soul Calibur, and Pyrrha, the weilder of Soul Edge. Dissapointed that the two swords were destroyed, he sheathed his weapons and journeyd. Now, six years later, he feels the shift in reality. He knows the two swords will be reborn again. Sinn wishes to find the two swords and weild them both, possibly bringing the two together to forever end this conflict. Personality: Sinn is almost always silent. He conveys his intentions in short sentances and monosyllables. He doesnt like to give a straight-up yes to any question, instead using 'possibly', 'maybe', and 'likely' as awnsers instead. Sinn is devoid of anything resembling compassion or anger, resulting in his extreme prowess in battle. Emotions never get in his way, and he plays out situations with pure logic, using his head and not his heart. He is a loner at heart, although he likes to gather followers around him to assist in whatever quest he currently is on. Although he would never admit it, he craves to be admired and respected, although he would never extend those emotions to anyone save the one who taught him to fight. Weapon: Wears a claymore on his back. Has a saber on his left side. Knife tucked in his boot. Affiliation: True Neutral Other Information: N/A

Name: Jake Fischer Age: 22Gender: Male Appearance Biography/Personality: Jake Fischer, given the nickname Lothar by one of his co-workers, was born on the coast while his father was still deported for military duty. After hearing that he was now the father of a baby boy, he flew back home to take Jake on one of the currently docked ships for his first Christmas. Upon sight of all the intriguing properties of the ship, Jake's infant mind molded around engineering as he grew up. At a young age, he began constructing toy boats made of scrap wood, followed by entire rowboats and trailers for shipping cargo. As a growing adolescent, he signed up to be a carpenter and received an axe, which he called Burtelga, from his father before he was once again deported. When Jake was promoted to Head Contractor, he sliced a man in half after seeing him rob his mother's house, later being accused of a greater crime of bloody assault and sentenced to military service, which he refused and fled the area. Living in exile, Jake ventured the region which, to his luck, was manifested with raw materials which he used to build a shack to live in on the mountains. In this shack, he spent a good amount of time crafting and buffing weapons and trinkets for his travelling needs. To this day, Jake's daily schedule only includes traveling to towns, picking up supplies, crafting in his shack, and selling them at the local market; at least until something more interesting turns up. Jake has a guilty pleasure of setting things on fire and watching them wither away in the flames. He doesn't much care for large bodies of water after witnessing someone cough up a gush of water after almost drowning. Weapon Weapon Info: More formally known as Burtelga, this trusty axe, whose basic design was passed down by his war-torn father, has been engineered by Jake to do two things: The first addition was a reel of chains for the blade to dispatch with and be used for various situations like wider-radius slices and a grappling hook. The second addition is the anodizing of a certain chemical that allows the blade to combust at will and not have it's properties altered, which allows for a more damaging fire attack. The blade is more of a bright-yellow brass color, and the handle is brown with red swirly designs. Well, when eopel argue with the Host, that's what happens. =/ Y'all shoulda just bucked up and grouped up. lol, wow, you sure are hasty about posting these things. Can you give me a short summary of what Soul Calibur is about and important things I gotta know? Once I got going, I got a little inspired :P Soul Calibur is a series of fantasy fighting games based around two swords, Soul Edge and Soul Calibur. Soul Edge is an evil sword that eats souls to become more powerful. Soul calibur is its' polar opposite, and it's sole purpose is to destroy Soul Edge. Uhh..that's really about all there is, I think. x3

Asriel Dreemurr
A lot of good RPs have been going that way lately. Anyways, I'll get an app out here in a bit. Probably just for a character I never got the chance to use due to the host of the RP he'd been intended for only accepted three of about twelve applications. Affiliation: True Neutral Other Information: N/A Finished! Obvious stuff: Guy who taught him to fight = Edge Master. Duh.
