Since the dawn of man, there have been Tournaments every five-hundred years in which Shamans (humans that can see and interact with spirits, and can also use a single spirit as a guardian ghost - using them to gain supernatural power through merging with the spirit ) compete in battles with one another to become the Shaman King. Whoever is crowned Shaman king will be given the power to either save the world from destruction, or do with it as they see fit. It has been five-hundred years since the last Tournament, and the Patch Tribe has began the search and testing of the new Shaman throughout the world. Who will win the Tournament, and what decisions shall the winner make? There is only one true way to find out. It is time for all of the Shamans to battle and shape the future!

Appearance: Branon is a Caucasian, slightly big-boned boy that stands at about 5'11. He has brown eyes and dirty-blonde hair that covers his eyes. He, more so than not, wears black jeans, a red hoodie, and skate-shoes.

Guardian Ghost Name: Sun Tzu

Personality: Brandon is, overall, a pretty "good kid". When it comes to his friends, he stands by their side no matter what. His intelligence, however, sometimes causes him to act superior to those that come off as dumb to him. This is often corrected, however, by his Guardian Ghost. When angry, he rarely speaks, and he never puts down an enemy in battle. He believes in a fair fight and that strength is not the key to victory. Brandon, while he fancies himself intelligent, is not very good when it comes to females. He'd get a nose bleed by just seeing women's underwear. When he's sad, he tends to sulk and not speak to anyone, but really does want attention and someone to talk to.

Bio: Brandon was born in Hollywood, California on July 2nd of 1996. He was born into a rich family, being that his mother was an actress and his father was an architect. Growing up, he was never particularly spoiled, and often had to do things for himself. His parents were rarely home, so he ended up developing skills by cooking and cleaning. Also while growing up, he had always had the strange ability to see people that nobody else could. He soon figured out that these were spirits. When he revealed this to his father, he was told that shamans had always been in his family, although they had never won the Tournament. Knowing that the next Tournament would now involve Brandon, his father decided to finally train him. He was forced to sit for hours on end and learn many different languages, and study many different types of magic. He was also given physical training with weights attached to his body, etc. Brandon's father brought him on an archaeological dig in China, and did so for a particular reason. They were going to find Brandon his own Guardian Ghost. During the dig, they found a Ghost that Brandon was very interested in. His name was Sun Tzu. After speaking to him for quite a while, he agreed to help Brandon with the Tournament. Much to Sun's advice, Brandon decided to read "The Art of War". He learned many battle lessons from this, some that he never would have known without participating in many real wars. Recalling his studies, Brandon decided to look into the art of black magic. Practicing this, he was able to create armies of the undead in which he used Sun's military intelligence to control and maneuver. After being with and practicing with Sun for only a year, he has taught Sun english and become quite bonded with his spirit. The two believe that they are ready to take on the Shaman Tournament. Brandon have moved out of his parent's home, and has decided to wander around. He now awaits the beginning of the Tournament.[/spoiler]

Personality: Yamada is a pretty "laid-back kid", but will get serious if it's time to fight. When it comes to fighting, Yamada's relies on his speed and his power. He's a person who never abandons his friends and always protect them no matter what. Despite his excellent swordfighting skill, he has a somewhat low intelligence, this often causes him to rush into battle without thinking. He's also a firm believer of fair fight and always hate cheaters. The main reason that he participated in Shaman Tournament, is to make this world a better place to live for human and spirits, so both of these beings could live in peace and harmony.

Bio: Yamada was born on December 12th, 1996, on Japan. He was orphaned at young age and grow up in an Orphanage. When he's still a kid, he find it strange that he could see Ghost. At first his friend at the orphanage thinks that he's strange, but as some weird incident begin to occur in the orphanage, it's always Yamada who stopped it. Soon, the kids at the orphanage begin to believe in his power to see spirits.

 

Some years passed by, Yamada has grown into a fine young kid, and around that time he met with a person who said that he share the same power as him. That man told Yamada about the Shaman Fight that happened only once in 500 years, and that Yamada are a potential candidate to participate, that man offered to teach him how to fight. Yamada accepted his offer and begin his intensive training as a Shaman. But he lacks of one main component to become a shaman, Guardian Ghost, so after his training as a shaman finished, he traveled across Japan to find his own Guardian Ghost. When he's passing a Graveyard, he find it weird that he didn't see even a single Ghost in that graveyard, but when he continue to walk across that Graveyard, he come in contact with a Ghost that look like a samurai. He asked if that Ghost is a Samurai or not, and the Ghost replied that when he's alive he's known as Demon Eyes Kyo. Surprised to know his title when he's still alive, Yamada quickly asked him to become his Guardian Ghost. Because that Ghost has nothing to do at the moment, he accepted to become Yamada guardian ghost. And together they traveled around the world. Waiting for the beginning of the Shaman Fight.
