Susie
We have an official metal/hardcore thread So why not have an electronic one too? And here's my top 5 list of electronic artists/bands Of this moment right now The idea for a top 5 list, was definitely not taken from the OP in the metal thread 1. Aphex Twin 2. Underworld 3. Boards of Canada 4. Infected Mushroom 5. Orbital
CinnamonStar
I'm a big fan when it comes to electronic music. Of course not all of it appeals to me since the genre is really vast. A few years ago one of my favourite genres used to be Trance and I still like it. But I guess I mostly stick with the EBM, EDM, Industrial, Wave/Darkwave branch now... Whenever something Classic+Electro-ish shows up somewhere (which is often Touhou for me), I will check it out since I love the combination. But it isn't done too often and I guess the most well-known (as in, currenly mainstream) example out there is Lindsay Stirling (dubstep violinist)... Yeah electronic music is quite the vast genre I tend to try all different types of electronic music And not all of them I've liked one being Dubstep Though there are a few producers and songs that I don't mind from it (And to imagine when I first became a huge electronic fan that was my favorite genre) Most of the stuff I listen to is Ambient/IDM/Industrial/Breakbeat related stuff And I've heard Lindsey Stirling before Quite the mixture I must say
Zazubat
I got to say, I checked out some of the examples, and it's not me, I don't like slow and minimalistic music, at least not when it's eletronic music. I'm more of an EDM guy, and while there's probably exceptions, I would much rather want to listen to some DnB than some Ambient music. I prefer Dubstep, House, Electro, DnB, Glitch-Hop, Moombahton/core, Hardstyle, Nu-Disco and a lot of sub genre mixes as well.

Yeah that's just my personal Top 5 list That I had put up here I don't mind certain kinds of EDM Though when I listen to EDM I prefer stuff that was around back when the rave scene was first kicking up Stuff by guys like Underworld, The Prodigy, Daft Punk, Justice, The Chemical Brothers, The Crystal Method etc. Squarepusher does have some songs that might be more enjoyable for you His newest album "Ufabulum" takes elements from modern EDM It might be more of your flavor

I've heard a track by Enigma as well, and so far they seem good as well. Anyways leaving an Aphex Twin song, because he is an awesome musician.
