GarlandChaos
This guy made quite a few mistakes this duel, all to do with Ghostricks and their face-up/face-down positioning. First he used Lantern's effect when I declared an attack against a face-down. Then, as you see here, he used Break's effect when I destroyed one of his face-down Ghostricks. People gotta read their damn cards, God.
GarlandChaos
Houston, we have another one: This guy doesn't understand the difference between Once Per Turn and Hard Once Per Turn. He Special Summoned Duke earlier this turn, then NS'd another with it, then SS'd the Duke he tributed with the new Duke's effect. Sander
Long story short: He Tribute Summoned Erebus with Idea and Eidos (Reinforce Truth => Idea => Eidos in my EP), then tried to Tribute Summon again, when he couldn't.
EndUser
Kaiba's deck can be real badass at times.[Playing Traditional, original (maybe with slight changes) character decks, up to GX (maybe 5Ds, but haven't duel against Synchros so far)] [spoiler= ] [spoiler= ] [spoiler= ] Btw, does anyone know Masterlord93? I guess they like watching such duels, but it feels like they're watching ME. :O

If it makes you feel any better, I beat Lightsworns with a Level 2 Normal Deck.

The Nyx Avatar
I wish you had a screenshot of that. It sounds glorious. They had Michael on the field, I had 3 Gachi Gachi Gantetsu's with all their materials and Djinn Buster to negate Michael's effect. It may have been luck, but seriously, funk Lightsworns. Anyone else ever gotten satisfaction beating a deck they didn't like?

I'm sorry, but people like you are the cancer of the YGO community.I wasn't cursing them out because of a competitive deck. ENMaker
Cursing someone out because they're playing a competitive deck? I'm sorry, but people like you are the cancer of the YGO community. Well that's quite an uncalled for and rather cuntish thing to say. Many people dislike Lightsworns because "Needblebug Nest mill 5 ohoho JD I win" "Raiden mill 2 ohoho double Wulf" "Beckoning Light triple JD ohoho" and other such plays tend to be how they win. Sander
That directed statement pertains to the Clownblade engine. k that doesn't change the fact that he cursed the opponent out because of a good engine in a sacky deck that got his jimmies rustled because it's "unfair". Sander
You can throw around as many deliberately provocative terms about as you like, your reaction was not warranted. And you're saying that him saying "funk him because he's playing Clownblade LS" is all fine and dandy? That kind of attitude is what I was referring at, he was cursing him out because the opponent was running a good deck which can steal wins. How is that kind of attitude anything but decent? ENMaker
And you're saying that him saying "f*** him because he's playing Clownblade LS" is all fine and dandy? That kind of attitude is what I was referring at, he was cursing him out because the opponent was running a good deck which can steal wins. How is that kind of attitude anything but decent? Calling him "the cancer of the YGO community" for hating a largely disliked deck is an overreaction, and a far more personal attack than "fuck him for playing Clownblade LS", because it's clear that that stems from a dislike of the deck rather than the person himself while calling someone a cancer is a different thing altogether. It's not all fine and dandy to say "fuck him for playing Clownblade LS" but it's a throwaway comment and not something that needed to be followed up on, especially in that way. (GigaDrillBreaker)
Lightsworn aren't even that strong of a deck. They honestly aren't much more luck-based than any other deck, including the average casual deck. And, to be perfectly honest, they are really fun to play. They play aggressively, use random chance (creating game-to-game variation) and have a very dynamic playstyle. I honestly don't care if someone prefers to play casually, but trying to fault competitive decks sheerly on the basis of being competitive, when one has little to no actual knowledge on the competitive game, is ignorant and just tiring. And skipper, YGO is designed to be competitive. I have no clue what you are on about there. And, to stay on the purpose of this thread: [spoiler=I guess he didn't like me doing this from an empty field]
