I won with Great Moth!

Bounced his Red Nova and he quit. And I would've gotten Perfectly Ultimate Moth out next turn too. 

Does anyone have any advice for cards I should use in Great Moth? I tried a Gigaplant build before this, but it couldn't get the bugs out enough.

Started complaining because I pressed a button. I didn't even play a card or anything. Just clicked the main phase button and he says that means I didn't pay for Fairy Box.

I've got three DNian stories that have stood out to me the most. Two of them are from a while back, but the third one is fairly recent.

 

Up first is my favorite one involving a duel against a deck that's main strategy was summoning Hot Red Dragon Archfiend (I was using Steelswarms btw). The guy pulled out all the stops getting out Hot Red out first turn, only for me to undo all of his work by special summoning Steelswarm Cell and tributing it for Girastag, who promptly sent Hot Red to the graveyard. He managed to summon another one and deal some decent damage, but I basically did the same thing I did to the first Hot Red. apparently he wasn't too happy about that, because he immediately quit afterwards XD.

 

Second story involves some douchebag playing Nekroz. Long story short, he was an ass throughout most of the duel, but his stupidity really shone through when I used Raigeki to nuke his field. He discarded Nekroz of Trishula to try and negate it, though I told him Trishula's hand effect could only be used when an effect targeted one of his monsters. According to this top tier genius, EVERYTHING targeted no matter what and insisted he was right. I called an admin to make him put his money where his mouth was (since he also decided to start cussing out the admins), and he tried to act all high and mighty by claiming I was just calling an admin to "try and win a duel I wasn't going to win", after which he quits. I saw him banned about two days later, so it seems I wasn't the first guy he'd acted this way with.

 

The third and most recent story was pretty bad, involving the ever so classic "MST NEGATES". All he did was activate MST on a facedown trap of mine (Side Effects?), to which I chain. He starts to ramble on about how I'm not allowed to do that because he had already destroyed it. The stupidity must have been too much for my Internet to handle, because it froze and crashed after that.

How did you get them into DN anyways? Admin privilege? Just asking, given that you have to donate for custom sleeves, and donators usually have the gold glow over their avatar in DN.

It's a sort of privilege, you have to have a CPD (calls per day) ratio of 20 or over to get them, but yeah, that's why there's no glow.

I still demand answers as to why YourYugiohChannel doesn't have the glow or donator icon but has custom avatar and sleeves, while we're on the topic.  If it's just because he's kinda famous as far as people who play a children's card game go, I demand riots.  I also hereby offer to crop out literally every card art in YGO history if that's what it'll take for the mod team to finally add new avatars because seriously this sheet is even more narrow than...something really really narrow.

Alright, so. First turn of this I passed and he had a blank board before him. He proceeded to fusion Lady Brilliant with the continuous spell, bring out the one with 1800 that can attack twice and put Fusion Weapon on it, discarding an MST to get Lady Brilliant to 3400. He thought he had OTK'd me until I dropped Trag, and he discontentedly passed. Next turn I just went Exciton and left him with 2 cards in hand.

 

Somehow he was able to Gem Knight Fusion the 2900 lad and hit me with it, leaving me at 300. On the next turn I 101'd his chap, to which he replied "How predicted", and I hit him down to 5900. He set the card he drew next turn and it was a Fiendish which he put on 101, so I passed. About 4 turns each where nobody did anything, he just set a lot of backrow and I held everything until I eventually had to activate a Mound of the Bound Creator to stay at 6 cards in hand.

 

On the turn after this, he summoned Prismaura and for whatever reason blew up the Mound, allowing me to search the Obelisk. He attacked into 101 and thought, again, that he had won, only for Damajuggler the MVP to come in and ruin his day. His reply to this was "How many nooby common cards I will see from your deck?". Responding to him caused the closing dialogue seen above, preceding the move which caused him to quit.

 

At this point I had made no moves for 5 turns or so, and was left with 6 cards in hand - a Double Summon, Mound of the Bound Creator, Sphere Mode, Obelisk, Jigabyte and Trag. I drew Tricklown and searched the Hattricker with Damajuggler. Summoning Tricklown, I then SS'd Jigabyte, SS'd Hattricker, activated Mound before I threw the Double Summon on and tributed the 3 for Obelisk. Clearly he had been expecting a rank 4 play and was disappointed when he found it was something he could not deal with. I killed his fusion and he quit on the next draw phase.

  I guess they wouldn't be annoyed if you disrupted their OTK with something newer or more impressive...

I'm sure they don't even know how Creature Swap is spelled. :D    (I'm so bad.)

 

As for me:  I happened to lose here. However, my hand before the defeat was soooo tragic, I didn't know what to do: Laugh or cry.

There's a time to use big attack boost cards when you suspect Honest may be afoot. There's during attack declaration, then damage step. There are smart times and then there are dumb times. But do you activate during your Main Phase? You probably shouldn't. I'll let this picture speak for itself.

There's a time to use big attack boost cards when you suspect Honest may be afoot. There's during attack declaration, then damage step. There are smart times and then there are dumb times. But do you activate during your Main Phase? You probably shouldn't. I'll let this picture speak for itself.

You'll also notice that the methods that brought both monsters to the field are in my hand right there in the picture.

This is quite a late reply but I don't run any traps and only spells that allow summoning more. It's always fun summoning a god.

#selfplug If you want to actually see. Basically just pray they don't do bother blocking what they'll presume to be Xyz materials and then they can't respond to gods.
