It doesn't take much to then engineer a position where the MST just wins you the game where firing it off blindly hits the wrong target, given you're clearly using it to extend, and then backfires for you horribly.

But what about on the off-chance they only have 1 Set card, and you open with a Typhoon?
Then said Typhoon won't exactly be all that blind, since they just have 1 Target for it.
And if that were the case, and assuming it then ends up being some bait the Opponent played, then who's to say it really WAS blind, when your just trying be safe rather then sorry. Since in that scenario, it could be anything, but you don't know that beyond that single Typhoon.

Why use up your MST at all if you're not making a push, though? If they have a single backrow and you have a hand that can make a push, then in some scenarios it's fine to go off. It also depends on what you know your opponent to be playing. What if all they did was set the card? If they're Mermails and it's Abyss-sphere you just screwed up your own going off just as much and now you don't have MST for later.

Yea, the deck in question your up against will also determine if blind Typhoons are worth it or not. Since, again, stuff like Sphere will screw you over because of the sheer amount of advantage they obtained. So really, Game 2 determines that stuff to a more extreme degree, rather then game 1, since until you see anything Face-up appearing(People Set Dine, shoosh), it's all up in the air.

I never mean "autopilot" in a realistic way.
See, I'm well aware of the fact Ghostricks, Cyber Dragons, Bujins, etc, those aren't truly autopilotng decks. I only really say that because, for some reason or another, saying someone's deck is autopilot is basically the equivalent of punching them in the fact. Dunno' why, but they take that statement too seriously, and it just enrages them to a ridiculous degree. I mean, if you know your deck doesn't auto itself, and you can clearly see someone using it as a dig at someone else, why don't they ever properly defend that statement? It's easy as hell to do so, and yet, not one person actually does it. But I'll +Rep you anyway, since I love feeling terrible about myself.

I think we get a general point what we're looking at when it comes to unleashing the primal, immature rage of a DN duelist.

Simply put: They take the game too seriously, and for all the wrong reasons.
