Zazubat
I meant to say that Irou is an attack, Dragon is an effect, instead of saying older/problem solving text. By that point in the duel, my mind was already in a fire.
scalervenom: gl Armadilloz: Zen's effect is mandatory Armadilloz: Chimera's effect Armadilloz: Dragon's effect: Goblin + Your Set card Armadilloz: Goblin's effect Armadilloz: Thinking... Armadilloz: Dragon's effect: Goblin + Zen Armadilloz: Goblin's effect Armadilloz: Zen only destroys things in the End Phase, you know.... scalervenom: that's fine Armadilloz: Chimera's effect Armadilloz: Dragon's effect: Chimera + Your Set monster scalervenom: nagate Armadilloz: Damage Step, on Beast Armadilloz: Beast@2400 scalervenom: you can't attack then chain an activation, you have to activate then attack Armadilloz: Horn has no specific timing of activation Armadilloz: I can use Horn in the Damage Step Likely this is what set him off Armadilloz: If you want to use your Honest, go right ahead and do so scalervenom: damage calc occured, you take 250 and beast dies Armadilloz: No, I don't. scalervenom: but no, i don't have honest scalervenom: fine as you wish.. scalervenom: 550 Armadilloz: http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Card_Rulings:Horn_of_the_Phantom_Beast Armadilloz: Also, Horn's effect scalervenom: no, the activation was fine, it was the fact you activated it on a dead monster because I was higher your order was wrong and therefore it didn' scalervenom: t happen, but it doesn't matter Armadilloz: >Horn can be activated in the Damage Step Armadilloz: Subtract 3350, please scalervenom has lost 3350 life points scalervenom: gone Armadilloz: Horn equips to Beast, btw scalervenom: that is not an equip, unless stated Armadilloz: "Target 1 Beast-Type or Beast-Warrior-Type monster you control; equip this card to that target. It gains 800 ATK. When that target destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyar Armadilloz: When that target destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: Draw 1 card.*" Armadilloz: Slow down, and read the cards you don't understand, please. Armadilloz: As I'm not rushing you otherwise scalervenom has lost 550 life points Armadilloz: Horn's effect scalervenom: Don't be a dick about things, there is no reason Armadilloz: I'm not. scalervenom has lost 2800 life points scalervenom: but you are, trust me on this one, you are coming off as a dick Armadilloz: Im just saying, if you missed something in a card's text, just read the card over. Simple =D scalervenom: see this last message is proof of you being a dick, you are patronizing me Armadilloz: No, I'm just saying; Knowing a card all the way through saves lives. Truly it does, but this guy doesn't understand that Armadilloz: Dragon's effect: Goblin + your Set monster Armadilloz: Dragon doesn't flip Ryko Aaaaaaaaaand it halts to a stop Armadilloz: And no, you don't mill scalervenom: it gets flips then dies anyway Armadilloz: No it doesn.t Armadilloz: Dragon destroys it on the spot; Does not once flip it. scalervenom: yes effects occur on destruction unless otherwise stated Armadilloz: Your monster is destroyed while Face-down Armadilloz: Doesn't get flipped scalervenom: no there are effects that state they are destryed face down, but not that one, flips occur as a chain Armadilloz: Ryko ONLY gets flipped if Dragon was actually attacking him Armadilloz: But hes not, this is an effect scalervenom: effects still cause destruction, and the flip occurs Armadilloz: No, they do not. Armadilloz: If a monster is destroyed while Face-Down, it does not once get flipped. scalervenom: it doesn't say it's destroyed while face down, effect occurs, scalervenom: mine doesn't state how if goes off and yours doesn't state that it stops the flip Armadilloz: Using your in-accurate logic; Doesn't state that it flips either Armadilloz: So Ryko is destroyed while Facedown, and does not flip. scalervenom: it always flips on detruction, period, always otherwise stated Armadilloz: No, it does not. Armadilloz: If you Dark Hole a Set Morphing Jar, Jar does not go off. scalervenom: ex. penguin soldier, and yes morphing does Armadilloz: I don't get why you insist on fighting Me over this, only to prove that you are a hypocrite. scalervenom: when does my hypocritcal tendecies show themselves? provide first occurence Armadilloz: Because your now on some idiotic assumption you can prove Me wrong only because I told you to slow down and read Horn because you misunderstood it. scalervenom: you want your scrap dragon, so you are going to fight tooth and nail, to safe him, I can only kill one monster, just kill scrape and attack directly... you still win, but play correctly, so that Armadilloz: >Play correctly Armadilloz: Thats not what yoy are doing in the first place Armadilloz: So again, your a hypocrite scalervenom: you don't take some other random joe who doesn't understand this game into the ringer, you are attempting overkill needlessly, just kill scrap and you still win, and how am I not, that's the whole Armadilloz: I have an abundance of ways to get Scrap Dragon to the field, it's an irrelevent point. scalervenom: reason why ryko sitting in this deck, there is no other purpose, why use him if this isn't the effect Armadilloz: The point remains that you are not playing correctly; Ryko is destroyed while Facedown scalervenom: then why argue, there is no reason for this Armadilloz: You started it :/ Armadilloz: Just destroy Ryko; It's Destroyed while Facedown and it's effect doesn't go off Armadilloz: Also you said you were testing this deck. There is little to no reason for how I could know you are inexpirenced, as you admitted. Armadilloz: You still there? Remove Ryko from the field, please scalervenom: Listen, I was testing THIS deck, but the rules I know, do not assume you are dealing with some sniveling little toad, right now I am dealing with 20 years of expirence between me and an avid scalervenom: light sworn user, so please just step down, and kill it, and attack directly Armadilloz: "you don't take some other random joe who doesn't understand this game into the ringer" Armadilloz: I never once said you were inexpirenced Armadilloz: You, literally, admitted it Armadilloz: Also, Sworns weren't around for 20 years. scalervenom: I am trying to get you understand that this rule works this way, so that you don't go against some random guy and do the same Armadilloz: I'm not, because EVERYONE ELSE on the planet won't either. scalervenom: are you dumb, that wasn't what i was implying, because on the same token neither has yugioh, scalervenom: THis has occured in a tournament and the ruling I've stated has gone through Armadilloz: The ruling YOU stated? So literally your playing off rules you made up off the top of your head? Armadilloz: Thats just even worse :/ Armadilloz: If you have proof of this immaginry ruling; Supply it, please. Armadilloz: And don't even think about editing the Wiki, just for 5 seconds. scalervenom: No actually tournement, not locals, and I'm not touching the wiki, I'm not stooping, just cave, and be sure to ollow this later, it's important for you to understand Armadilloz: But this isn't an actual rule Armadilloz: Ryko is destroyed while Facedown Armadilloz: It does not get flipped scalervenom: Yes, it is, all monster get flippped on destruction unless otherwise stated scalervenom: Ie maneater bug Armadilloz: So your saying EVERY SINGLE FLIP monster gets flipped upon being destroyed while Facedown- Armadilloz: Except Man-Eater Bug? Armadilloz: ...... scalervenom: Irouh states destroy without flip up, tthe fact they stated that proves that it auto flips and mystic swords men does the same thing scalervenom: ie means "in example" Armadilloz: Because thats older text/problem solving text Armadilloz: *Sigh* DN sometimes..... I just left. Didn't want to deal with it anymore. Like, this guy's logic tastes like cancer, and it's riddled with inconsistencies.

tl;dr: I sometimes wonder why you bother with those guys. Zazubat
THE HEART OF THE CARDS GAVE ME A MONSTER REBORN! Also, if I had gotten a MST to blow up Castle or Maiden, I could have used my set Lance on it anyway, or if I had gotten Rabbit I could have made Queen, and then SS'ed my monster. I still had a lot of options, but Monster Reborn was probably the easiest. Fun duel anyway, except when he got confused with my Fiendish Chain and he didn't understand that Mad Reloader is mandatory. He took two away from Killer, but I had used my Fiendish Chain on him, and he got all crazy about it. I don't think english was his first langauge either, since he didn't say a whole lot. Zazubat
Somehow, I managed to win AFTER the opponent brought out Red Nova.I always thought that Numeron was meh since it got your own cards as well, but truthfully, it really helps out at times like these. Toffee.
I always thought that Numeron was meh since it got your own cards as well, but truthfully, it really helps out at times like these.Numeron also prevents the Opponent from using Bottomless/Torrential/etc on your Summoned monster, since the effect negation happens after you Summon the monster, and not at the same time. So they just miss their timing.

So they just miss their timing. That is also a good point, which is quite awesome for getting out your kill, and since most decks run traps like that, it really makes you be able to go into the kill.
