Fun fact: Back in 2007-08, I had originally created this card as an "evolution" of Great White (in that the only way it could be Summoned was by Tributing a Great White).  I merely figure that I'd tweak his effect a bit (and by "tweak", I mean "remove that god-awful Summoning Restriction").

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by Tributing 1 WATER monster you control. This card gains 200 ATK for every other WATER monster on the field. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: You can Tribute 2 WATER monsters you control; Special Summon this card from the Graveyard.

 

 

"Oh gods, his costs trigger the effects of Atlanteans!  Help us all!" ... yeah, yeah, whatevs.  Another fun-fact, this effect (outside of the Summoning Conditions) is vastly unchanged from how I had it originally.

*sigh* you know it's impossible to make a WATER monster nowadays that feeds on other WATER monsters without having Atlanteans get even more powerful than they already are, and well at least you get rid of a lot of them, but still it's pretty powerful. I normally always dislike self-summon effects since they produce powerful as funk monsters for little to no cost at times (Chaos monsters), and well this kind of falls into that as well. It goes remove your monster, but as mentioned by yourself even Atlanteans feed of cards like this, but in all honestly, this card is not so bad, boost attack, but leaves itself on the field by itself so it's okay, a nice little beatstick for them, though I don't feel like they need this, but you can have a 2500+ on the field for 1 monster.
