Northern Sage
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCBfab51kN8 Unpleasant to listen to, beyond awful vocals…
Susie
Radiohead is okay at best, overrated though. Really? I think that they're far away from being overrated. They helped bring up Experimental music to a more popular degree (along with a few other fellow bands from the 90's), and they've inspired quite a few bands. I myself as a (mediate) synth player have to say that they've created some of the most unique synth tones that I've ever heard, and plus some really metaphoric and beautiful lyrics added onto that. Not only that let's not forget their talent at playing their instruments and how much emotion is shown in their songs, though I can see why someone wouldn't like them, they're not really the type of band meant for listening pleasure. Mehmani
At least pop music doesn't pretend to be deeper than it actually is. It's openly, gaudily vapid, but at least it doesn't consider itself to be high art, the way that pretentious indie arseholes do, like Ben Howard or William Fitzsimmons. They are worse, because they are just as forgettable and meaningless as pop artists, but they seem to think (and their fans certainly like to tell me) that they are deep, exploratory and special. They aren't, I don't care, leave me alone. Oh, and pretty much all country music. It seems so fake, hearing people sing about living in poverty or despair when they own a bloody golf course. I can't stand that kind of fakery.
L0SS
Oh, and pretty much all country music. It seems so fake, hearing people sing about living in poverty or despair when they own a bloody golf course. I can't stand that kind of fakery. Johnny Cash is the exception to that rule. For me, at least. But I completely agree with Ben Howard.
Mehmani
Oh, yes, Johnny Cash is different. Rockabilly is different - it actually represents the feelings of young people like Cash. And thanks for agreeing with me about Ben Howard. He really is a...hmm...twerp.
Tentacruel
Mainstream country really only works when it's not trying to be deep. See "Red Solo Cup," or "Fish."
インフェルニティ・ミラージュ
Everything by Blood on the Dance Floor. I'm sorry, they're just overly perverted and the songs that aren't still aren't within borders of mediocre for my taste.
