Cloister
Most of Beatles songs are pretty sucky imo, I do like Let it be, but all their other songs are below good. Also, most of the new pop-songs really annoy me or make me wanna throw stuff at people. I really like Thrift Shop, I just love how it totally makes fun of rap, but in a good way. How can you NOT like most of their songs? I do not like some of theirs, yes, but come on, MOST?
.Rai
F#CKING WHAT. How can you NOT like most of their songs? I do not like some of theirs, yes, but come on, MOST?My take on it is that you have to consider is that The Beatles are essentially just a slightly better One Direction: their songs are mostly based off simple pop chords, and their sound (soft pop-rock) was equivalent to what One Direction have now.You do have a number of incredibly intuitive, ingenious and otherwise revolutionary songs in the world of popular music, but they didn't make up The Beatles' number of well-liked songs. They were generally artier than the average pop band, which is was sets them apart from the likes of One Direction. I mean, I doubt anyone can name what a swarmandal is from the top of their head, let alone what Beatles song used it.And, obviously, another misinterpretation of the word 'like'. You can't judge someone for disliking a song. It's opinion. However, you can judge people for saying that a song is musically bad when it really isn't. Cloister
I prefer Beach Boys over Beatles any day. I just don't like their music. Except for Let It Be, which actually is pretty appealing. Otherwise, meh, don't see why they are so popular.
.Rai
Otherwise, meh, don't see why they are so popular. They had the same fan appeal that One Direction has at the moment, but also general musical credibility. A mixture of initial popularity, an incredibly long career and a musical legacy has kept them as popular artists.
Cloister
Well, I'll buy that, but I still think their music isn't that great, but I respect people that do.
Susie
You don't like ITEOTWAWKIAFF (It's the End of the World As We Know It and I Fell Fine?) It's The End Of The World was just boring, annoying, and overly played to me I don't know I Fell Fine though I doubt that I'll like it

CinnamonStar
Don't think there's a song I really couldn't listen to at all, but I agree that Harlem Shake was a let-down when I heard the song. The dance flashmobs are everywhere, but the actual song makes my ears cringe. Some songs you hear on the radio aren't even that bad, but it's when they're overplayed that they're starting to annoy me.
Billy Batson
Any new song from Taylor Swift about her ex and how much "us guys" suck for making her and women suffer after a breakup or something..
Susie
Harlem shake was rubbish I know I sound like such an electronic elitist when I say this But Harlem Shake is one of the most poorly produced songs in history The bass in that song is just plain noisy and has no sense of melody what so ever Like I mean come on even Gangnam Style had a solid melody to it The song is pretty much the guy pressing the same 2 or 3 notes in an unmusical way Overall the track is a piece of pure garbage And as for the dance to the song, what dance is there exactly? From what I can see it's just doing random stupid stuff
Northern Sage
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBrPbffXFhM I don't even really know why. There's just something about the repetitive refrain that almost makes me… nauseated. It's varied and creative, but feels really off for me. If you have to make electro/dubstep/whatever with 4 notes only, it can still sound good, like:(imo.)Also Gangnam Style is a fun song but it's been overplayed to death ofc

Also Gangnam Style is a fun song but it's been overplayed to death ofc I get Trap, but most is not greatly produced at all. I can't stand that style of Dubstep, it's just so badly produced, while producers like Tristam, Pegboard Nerds and Savant have melody and originality. As for songs I hate, any boy band song pretty much, specific example: One Direction - That's What Makes You Beautiful
Agro
> Sees people complaining about bad songs when the reason they're popular was because of YouTube videos and good songs that were just overplayed Okay then, I'll be sticking away from this topic now. Eisei Proxy
Every single thing by Lil' Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj...basically any current mainstream pop artists, their songs are just unbearably repetitive and can barely be classefied as music at all, however, some older rappers had very obvious talent, 2pac for example...speaking of that, dubstep...it's not that i have such a burning hatred for dubstep, but i simply cannot stand it, it seems to me a if they just butchered various sound samples, stringing them together in a certain way; then the other dubstep artists just remix the previous soundfile. There are many more, but what tops the charts of music i hate; Blood on the FREAKING Dance Floor...when teenies and scenes go on constantly about their "inspirational" music just because they look like somebody drowned a raccoon in a rainbow...so...yeah ._. Obviously there are many...MANY...more
