...Okay. I understand.

I'm not new to the series, though... I just kinda wish it could be specifically tailored so that, oh...

The enemies would be as strong as they were in normal... Except they'd randomly have -1 in one of their stats, maybe?

And... battle saves, but units would still be lost forever, or...
Gah... I dunno.

I was already doing a lot of tactical thinking, but even so, it just felt that everything was way the heck too strong. Even the soldiers. My cavalry units were only barely able to 1-on-1 with them, but... There most certainly weren't just one of them each time. Bleh...

So today I got a bunch of second generation marriages. I already had MorganXOwain, but now there's KjelleXBrady, SeveraXInigo, CynthiaXGerome, and NoireXLaurent. I'm going to wait until I get Panne to level 30 before I recruit Yarne, who will marry either Nah or Lucina. Tempted to go with NahXYarne, leaving poor Lucina all alone.

I've done a few second generation marriages but not all of them. And it might just be me but I'm NOT getting Morgan married to anybody.

I kind of like to think that my avatar would be stalking Morgan to ensure no one hit on her and thus no relationships ever evolved from that- plus if you read the dialogue it DOES look like she just sees everyone as a friend of playmate.

Gregor not making any second generating marriages, busy with DLC

I've been doing the Rogues & Redeemers for a while, but once I beat it and figured out the second one only had another E-Card, of a person I don't want, I decided to get back to training.

I now have enough Avatars from other people that I'm going to make my entire team . . . "Team Avatar" (B 3)

*massive sigh from the crowd*

Eh, it's more because from the supports I've read, female Morgan tends to annoy the guys in her supports, but I had to go with MorganXOwain. SeveraXInigo is great, but I just had to take Owain in as my son-in-law.

Who is your Avatar married to Phantom? Because depending on who it is that is second generation incest (XD)

Gregor think strongest unit is now Professor Marth.

Level 1 Lodestar

HP - 62

Str - 42

Mag - 22

Skill - 43

Spd - 42

Lck - 48

Def - 37

Res - 24

And has Paragaon, Aptitude, Sol, Luna, and Astra. Always fights with the Parallel Falchion, too, is very strong.

New map raped me with my own overpowered team...

I actually managed to beat them on the second go. The only, and I mean only, reason the map beat me was because I was using a lesser tier team I have been training.

Once I broke out the main guys I kicked the evil team's ass all over the map while protecting Aversa with ease.

The New DLC however (>3>)

I mean how the Hell are you supposed to take everyone out in 10 f*cking turns when they respond like crazy?!

*ahem* *takes deep breath*

GALEFORCE GALEFORCE GALEFORCE~<3 (Sorry, had to).

Thank you.  But seriously, you need to have a team with alot of movement and would be able to hit very hard.  Galeforce comes in very handy for lightning finishes, and that should guarantee you victory in less than 10 turns.  The people in my army that know Galeforce are Lucina, Cynthia, Cordelia, Morgan (F) and Aversa (She also has Life Taker), though I could probably get Severa to go Galeforce as well if I wanted to.

Shadow Dragon really isn't worth it. It lacks the usual character development the Fire Emblem series has, still feels relatively unpolished, even as a remake of a remake, and is just all around underwhelming.

You don't really get in touch with the characters, at all. And even then, people like Katarina AREN'T in Shadow Dragon.

Marth, Est, Catria, and Palla are all in it, but... it's not worth it. It really isn't.

It's pretty much the only US released Fire Emblem that I haven't played. (Well Radiant Dawn kind of counts, seeing that I just cleared the first part before my Wii kinda stopped reading any disks).

As an aside, did you read the notification of 4/18's Fire Emblem Spotpass message?  It says that "This week's team is the first of a selected assortment from different Fire Emblem games". Emphasis mine, of course.  This probably was a typo (bad grammar? plan 'ol error?) since this is the last team released in Japan iirc, but it'd be nice if we got more teams after this week.

I guess you'd have to define what 'team' is.

If you define 'team' as character + up to 9 generics, then we get those every day, not every week. (my first was Linus, btw)

if you define 'team' as the 10 named characters under every title heading in the menu, then we did get those every week like the message says.  I do believe that would be an odd definition of 'team', though.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if this Thursday they will just say "Here are the rest of the Others", and leave it at that.
