This RP takes place about 100 years after the events in the show and is set in the Teen Titans' universe. While it is recommended that you have some knowledge of this universe, it is possible to participate without said knowledge and everything will be done to keep the RP moving smoothly.

It has been 100 years since the fall of the demonic fiend, known as Trigon, and the world has experienced relative peace…well at least they haven't faced a doomsday threat from an interdimmensional being or an intergalactic armada in awhile. This bout of peace has meant that the guidance of heroism and justice has been able to flourish, stamping out criminal organizations found on our own planet. Unfortunately, as light evolves, so must dark. Crime is once again taking a hold on the planet, and not all of it is petty thugs. Criminal organizations involving both meta and non-meta beings have grown in strength recently, leading to increased panic across the globe. It is due to this that the Justice League has reinstated an old project known as the Teen Titans. The Teen Titans project was previously disbanded due to the lack of need, but now the demand for more heroes are at an all time high. Various Titan Towers have been built across the world as well as several new teams have been put together.

A very promising team found in the Northern Region of Sector 4, the United States, is drawing a lot of attention from the Justice League, but they must first prove themselves to be team players before consideration to join the League is even brought up. With recent technology known as the Zeta-Tube being introduced, the team is able to cover a much larger area through the means of teleportation. They along with 3 other Teen Titan teams in the U.S. are tasked with the responsibility to protect Sector 4 from all dangers, including both meta and nonmeta threats.

Placed in the center of Lake Superior, Titans Alpha, is just coming together for the first time. Under the supervision of the masked hero, Long Shadow, the team shall either succeed together or fail apart.

You are an official initiate of the Teen Titans program. You have been chosen to protect the people across the globe, taking down any villain that gets in your way. Accompanying you on your journey are 4 other members of your team. Together you shall prove yourselves by either acting as a lone wolf or a formidable force. Whether it be your powers, personality, or past, the Justice League has, unbeknownst to you, has taken a special interest in your progress and thus have been placed in Teen Titans Alpha, the most promising team in Sector 4.

How will you face the danger that faces you? Can you handle the responsibilities of being a hero? It's not easy being a hero...

If you are applying for this RP I expect you to know the rules of this forum and that includes the rules of the RP section. Use your common sense, don't godmod, powerplay, troll, etc. Perhaps the biggest rule here is to stay active. If you won't be able to be active, please don't apply. Leave those spots open for those that can be active. I would also prefer any participants to have previous RP experience. I apologize to new members, but I really want this RP to be a success so that's just the way it is.

I understand that sometimes things come up that make it so it is impossible to be active, so if that happens just PM me. I will take whatever measures to make sure that nothing interferes with the RP, this will probably result in myself taking control over your character until you can return. Being inactive without alerting me may result in a gruesome, and perhaps humiliating death.

Now onto RP specific rules:

You are only allowed to create 1 character.
While yes this RP is futuristic, meaning laser based weapons and robotics are fine, don't abuse this. You will be allowed to have extraterrestrial characters, remember that most of the human population is not fond of aliens.
I will only be accepting 4 or 5 participants at the moment, but new spots may open up later.
New rules may be added and blahblahblah.

Name: Tyson Wells "Skeletal"

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Appearance: Tyson is 5'11. He is slender but very ripped. Unlike most heroes, Tyson doesn't waste his time hiding his true identity through the use of a mask. He has somewhat messy, dark brown hair. He has very short, curly bangs that cover the top of his forehead, with some space in between them. Tyson's attire consists of black combat boots, long dark green cargo pants, and a black sleeveless shirt. He wears a utility belt around his waist that carries a gun and some smoke pellets. When he isn't being a hero however, he simply wears a hoodie, dark jeans, and sneakers. Tyson has somewhat dark, red eyes. Although constanly protruding blades of bone from his body, he has no scars that resemble this.
Superhuman Agility: Ability to react faster than a normal human and to possess greater flexibility and with higher/farther jumping capacity.
Bone Manipulation: Ability to manipulate the bones in one's own body. This includes, but is not limited to, the generation of new bone mass, projecting bones out from the skin or rearranging one's own bones.
Standard Equipment/Weapons: Carries a handgun at all times. Also carries smoke pellets, and extra mags for his handgun.

Personality: Tyson has a little bit of an unpredictable personality. Though normally he is very cool and composed, when he becomes frustrated he will get very hot-headed, especially in battle. He loves taunting people with wise cracks and can be a little bit of an arrogant prick at times. He is very competitive by nature. He always wants to show himself to be better than everyone else. Despite this he is very respectful of those who manage to put him in his place. He isn't one to just easily follow orders. Tyson percieves justice in his own way and may not always agree with others, therefore reinforcing his lack of rule-following. Though he can be a pain to work with, Tyson does in actuality care for his friends and teammates and will work hard to protect them. Truthfully, friendship is the only constant in Tyson's life.

Biography: Tyson grew up in a horrible neighborhood, where crime and violence were part of the everyday ritual. In fact, Tyson's very own father was a criminal who became insane after losing his job. He stole and killed in order to survive. When his mother tried to move away with Tyson, when he was only six years old, his father killed her. Growing up with a deep hatred of his abusive father, Tyson trained in a secret martial arts class taught by an old master who wished to pass on his teachings before he died from when he was eight years old to when he was 15, so that one day he could avenge his mother's death. On his 16th birthday, Tyson attacked his father. However, Tyson's father took out a handgun. Right before he was going to shoot, Tyson instinctively held out his palm at his father, shooting a sharp bone out of his palm and into his father's arm, causing his father to drop the gun. Tyson took the opportunity to pick up the gun, and held his father at gunpoint, proceeding to call the cops. After helping arrest his father, Tyson set a new goal for himself. For 6 months he practiced using his powers to master his skill, hoping to use them to purge his neighborhood of the crime which polluted it. Tyson mercilessly attacked the people of his neighborhood, giving many of them sever injuries so that they could never hurt anyone ever again. His fighting of violence with violence caught the attention of a member of the justice league, who came to Tyson's neighborhood to teach him a lesson. After being humiliated in a battle with the JL member, Tyson realized his errors in fighting evil. He went back to his old master, only this time he wasnt there to learn martial arts. This time, Tyson was learning the art of discipline. After 8 months of this training, Tyson was once again approached by the JL member, and was told that he had been recruited for a program called the Teen Titans Initiative

Name: Thomas Callahan, AKA Quickfire
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Appearance: Thomas has shortcut blonde hair, stark blue eyes, and freckles EVERYWHERE. His attire consists of what your average cowboy might wear, with a modern flair. He wears cowboy boots, leather pants, a bandolier-style belt with his pistols and ammo. His shirt is white, however installed in the back of it is a computerized exoskeleton that branches into his upper arms, to help keep him steady when he fights. To hide this, he wears a steel-gray trench-coat. On his face he wears a Lone Ranger style mask, with an installed mesh over the eyes to help focus his sight. He keeps a cowboy hat on to match his jacket.
Powers and Abilities: Quickfire's power is very simple: Speed and accuracy. And not what most people would think of speed as a superpower, his is limited to his hands. His ability to draw and aim are second to none, and as the old timers might say "he has the fastest hands in the West." To pair with that, he has a minor mutation in his DNA that allows his sight to 'zoom' as it were, making him deadly accurate.
Standard Equipment/Weapons: Quickfire only has a handful of weapons. He has several different pistols that line his belt, each serving a different utility person. One might shoot a spreading net, one might be a shocking bullet, but more often than not he keeps it simple: Two pistols, with basic ammunition.
Personality: Thomas is very quiet, almost to the point that people might think he can't speak. To punctuate this point further, he enjoys gesturing with his hands in a form of mock sign language, and choosing only to talk if it's important, or people are misunderstanding his gestures. He has little in the way of true morality, showing little remorse if he has to kill a wrongdoer. No matter where he is,he always treat the place like home; feet up, fridge pillaged for food. He LOVES a good stack of pancakes (butter and syrup), and a glass of home-made fruit juice.
Biography: Billy The Kid. Jesse James. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. All these outlaws had left many legends in their wake about their skills with a gun, and those legendary quick-draws have one thing in common: Thomas Callahan. Through several bouts of gene experimentation, Thomas was subjected to small DNA injections whilst still in his mother's womb. As these bits of DNA fused and grew, by the time Thomas was ten he had "hands of lightning." He wanted no toys except his plastic pistols growing up, and as he grew older, the better he got. Even with a legendary ancestry of outlaws, Thomas' mother always made sure he was set on the straight and narrow, to never harm unless deemed necessary. From a young age he developed a love/hate relatonship wth his shared ancestry, and spent years studying the Old West. To try an clear any misconceptions and doubts about what he might be like due to this ancestry, he dcided to rebel against instinct and started fighting crime. Now at the moderate age of 20, Thomas has made himself into a full fledged crime-fighter, leaving his home life behind and adopting the Quickfire persona. When he heard wind of the Teen Titans Initiative, you can bet your horse he wanted to be a part of it.
Other: Thomas has two main flaws. Number one, he has a really bad habit of using his quick-draw hands for more nefarious purposes, specially playing cards. And number two, without his exoskeleton attachment his arms shake uncontrollably from the overuse of muscles due tohaving to move so fast to keep up with his hands.

Name: Jason Richardson/"Mimic"
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Appearance: Standing at approximately 5'8", Jason barely stands below the average human height. But, because of the powers he possesses, the height will change according to whoever it is he changes into. His build is above average, but slim enough to be flexible in some cases. He usually wears a large black cloak-like jacket with crimson red accents throughout that shine off the sun when given the chance. The jacket itself has two thermostat devices within it. Each device activates at different levels depending on the overall body temperature, keeping Jason at the average temperature for the most part. Jason is a blonde, the hair being only at medium length. His eyes are a majestic blue that resembles the ocean reflecting the sunlight. Although this may be the face that everybody sees, it is not his true face. His real face is nothing more than horrifying. His face has second-degree burns throughout the entire left side of his face. And what remains of his hair is actually a dark brown. He never shows this side of himself anymore because of the shame he feels towards this side of him.
Powers and Abilities: Although how it's done is debatable, Mimic has the ability to copy/clone many things, including people, items, weapons, and even powers, but on a smaller scale.

1. Master of Disguise: Mimic is able to take on the form, voice, personality, and gait of any person he observed with full intention of imitating that person. Perfect for Reconnaissance and a means of gaining intelligence on an enemy's next move.
2. Item/Weapon Mimicry: Using P.R.A.I.S.E. along with his own views, Mimic scans any unknown weapon or item by how it's used, the functions that are shown, and the capabilities of it overall. This allows the weapon/item identified to be copied and used at Mimic's will (Hasn't learned yet).
3. Downgrade-Upgrade: Using the same analogy for Item/Weapon Mimicry, any supernatural power that involves an upgrade to the body itself, a force that can be willfully manipulated, or powers related to using mainly your mind, it can be scanned and copied at will, but will be a weaker version of it (Not learned yet).

Every single one of these abilities has a restriction, however. Anything he attempts to recreate at his disposal has to be seen and fully observed of capabilities before he can copy and control whatever it is he wishes. Another restriction is that only one mimicry of each ability can be used at a time, but can benefit by him mixing and matching up e everything he is currently able to recreate.
Standard Equipment/Weapons: Jason has two special devices at his disposal, both of which are very helpful in battle.

1. Bio-Shield Glove: Mimic's left glove contains a special containment field device that blocks powerful outside forces and spreads to to a 2 yard radius. It has its limits, and will shatter if enough force is placed on it, resulting in a 1-3 hour cooldown period.
2. P.R.A.I.S.E. (Personal Robotic Artificial Intelligence Servant Emulator): Mimic's personal robotic guide that is wired to his brain from a special emulator wristwatch on his right arm with a USB port for direct communication with other people besides Jason. It gives Mimic different possible ways to go about battles and possibly ease things. But not all enemies will have weaknesses that P.R.A.I.S.E. will be able to detect, so Jason will have to be able to understand when that happens.

Personality: As Jason, he is very much to himself for the most part. He will greatly hesitate about explaining his life, as he fears rejection. But when it comes to his own intelligence, he is very smart in his own right, and is very curious with many things, including technology. But on the inside, there's shame in his mind, and even fear. Nobody knows his story, or his life-changing fatw, and so only speaks of his past to only someone he has grown close to. Even then, the fear of rejection and negligence begins to sink in. He can only hope that people will accept what he has become. Other than that, Jason is a gentle individual with a strong sense of justice. As a result, he cares for the innocent and will do anything to protect it.
Biography: Nobody knows who Jason is, since he goes by no name. The reason isn't all that clear though. One thing is for sure; he intends on keeping it that way until he can be certain that he can trust someone enough to be able to reveal his true self. And that true self is a victim of a dreaded accident that left his body scarred, not just with second degree burns, but many broken bones, but he survived. The accident itself was a result of an earthquake that had destroyed his research on Mimic technology. An explosion ensued. It caused the severe burns on his face and remained hidden for a while. That was until he realised that what remains of his "incomplete" formula to allow the capabilities of the "Mimic" technology is now within his DNA. So, he attempted to change his form, but nothing happened until he took a look at a drawing of his imaginary super hero. Then, it happened. He changed form. It was a success in his book, so he thought he could use this to help the innocent. As a result, he ended up creating special equipment that would assist him in getting the job done. Give or take 3 years later, Mimic was given a chance to join a team called Titans Alpha thanks to an invitation from the Justice League. He knew about them, but never truly knew what they do. Reluctantly, Jason accepted under his alias "Mimic". He just hopes ge can go beyond what he's doing now to make a difference.

Light manipulation- she can convert light in the area in to energy beams and shields as long as she has power charged from a high light source but big beams and Strong shields require her to have more light and tier her out quickerdose not work on lasers.

Basic combat- She is trained in normal hand to hand combat that allows her to hold her own against any thug but she is barley in match in a fist fight with an expert in hand to hand

Standard Equipment/Weapons:

Her suit- has all the perks of general testing suit like thermal control and enhanced durability plus gives her the ability to store a small amount of light to use for later

Personality: She is one of the last people in the world who would trust anyone outside of some of her friend who busted free of Lex-Corp with. She was trained by Lex-Corp to know how to behave out in the real world and not act out. She is very reserved but not afraid to let her true thoughts are on a situation she covers her doubts from people by keeping an optimistic view of the world around her. She also has great respect for all the heroes in the justice league and really wants to join their ranks one day. She also hates Lex-Corp and her parent for treating her like a lab rat despite the fact she still hold the bracelet from her mom as her most valuable possession. She also has a fear of scientist and doctors.

Biography: She was born near the big city known as Metropolis and lived happily with her parents who worked for Lex-Corp. when she was four her powers began to manifest in her ability to hold a ball of concentrated light in her hands; her parents knew what that it meant that there daughter was born with super powers. They soon brought her to Metropolis Hospital to get her admitted to their Meta Wing of the hospital. The process took a week of doctors testing her base levels before the admitted her in to the program.  The day that the hospital officially admitted her to stay for research purposes her mom gave her a bracelet for Alisa to remember her parents by. She spent the rest of that year wondering if she would ever see her parents again but as time passed she started to accept that thy were not coming back. While at the Meta Wing of the hospital she was subject to illegal test for testing the limits at which her powers could be used this only strengthen her powers as well as training people in basic combat that way if they lived long enough they could join Lex-Corp. She use to spend her free time watching TV in the patient lounge which was always on the news where she saw the heroes of the outside preform heroic acts with their powers for good. One day when she was 16, a scientist drugged a few of the younger patients’ food including hers. When she woke up she was in room all by herself where she could barely see through the blinding light a small room through some glass on the far wall. She then realized that they had slipped an inhibitor collar on her to stop her light conversion and flight. She heard over the intercom that she was going to have to fight this one girl who was her best friend for the scientist enjoyment. Her best friend on the other hand could manipulate gravity and Blast consecrated beams of gravitational pull. After the fight, they were returned to their rooms and decided enough was enough they were going to free themselves from the hospitals clutches or at least her friend did. Alisa eventually was talked in to it by her friend. They got a few more of the younger patients to join them in their escape attempt. They spent the next year going through the torcher of having to fight with other Meta patients on top of the strenuous testing. The day soon came when their plan came to action they all had the test suits on due to the fact that was all the clothing they had and Alisa decided since one of the kids could disable the tracking features and shrink the suit that they bring as many as possible so they were not wearing dirty clothes. That was the only part of the plan her friend allowed her to plan since she also did not like wearing dirty clothes and did not want to have to still clothes to wear once they were free. Their plan was simple use their power and work together to sneak out of the hospital. They were successful in the operation and made it to a nearby hotel and rented two rooms using a guy’s hacking abilities Alisa and her roommate in one room and the guys in the other. Over time they all went their separate ways,   Alisa began to perform heroic acts which her former friend found as a risk and were the reasons she left Alisa.  It was not much since she was now supporting herself and running around like superheroes she saw on TV. One day she was met by one of the justice league and asked and join their teen titans’ project. She was quick to jump on this offer since it was one step closer to being a full fledged hero.

Hmm...seems good except for the necromancy part of it. Osteokinesis is a cool power, but able to create skeleton warriors is kinda over the line. So I would say get rid of that, but other than that seems good.

Very interesting character. I would like to see a little more on the biography, what caused him to be a crime fighter? If you want, you can get rid of the blindness, my character has increased vision with no drawback so if you want to get rid of that you can seeing as it would definitely be a hindrance to your character.

Working on app.

Looking forward to it.

Every single one of these abilities has a restriction, however. Anything he attempts to recreate at his disposal has to be seen and fully observed of capabilities before he can copy and control whatever it is he wishes. This power is adaptable though. To make a full recreation of what he intends on using, it would require his eyesight for accuracy. However, if his eyesight is blocked off, his hearing can be the way he can recreate things, even though accuracy isn't a key factor in doing so. Using only his hearing mainly is for mimicking powers, and will recreate it by how the sound resembles it.

I can't decide if I will accept this superpower. Shapeshifting to this degree is on the edge of acceptable. Mind going into further detail? I may put up a list of not accepted powers. I wasn't expecting to run into so many cases with these kinds of powers.

She then realized that they had slipped an inhibiter collar on her to stop her light conversion and flight due to the fact her duplication power not being fully developed thus not a problems. Alisa spent time working on her powers just enough for her to actually gain the ability to duplicate up to three of herself. It was not much since she was now supporting herself and running around like superheroes she saw on TV. One day she was met by one of the justice league and asked and join their teen titans’ project. She was quick to jump on this offer since it was one step closer to being a full fledge Hero.

Other: Nothing comes to mind

I've read through everything except the bio, due to being short on time right now but I will go back in and read it. One thing I will say right now is that your character seems to have severely overpowered powers and many powers that don't relate to each other. I would definitely think about rethinking your character. And a list will be going up soon enough saying what powers are going to be acceptable.

---

One thing I want to say to everyone is that you shouldn't make your characters SUPER powerful. You will have time to improve and grow, don't forget you will be working as a team and thus will have others to back you up.

Alright! Support type character who can also fight! Work in progress, sir. Also... why is everyone so old?

Name: Peter Allen

Nickname: Portal

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Peter is a somewhat short teenage boy with slightly messy straight black hair which reaches down far enough to cover a bit of his large, pearlescent, aquamarine eyes. He has a childish face, with a small but angular nose and an average mouth used to smiling as he almost constantly wears a cheerful and optimistic look on his face. Peter has different clothes and outfits he can wear, but while on superhero duty, he wears a black form-fitting combat suit with a aquamarine circle on his chest and various glowing aquamarine lines running throughout the uniform for both aesthetic purposes and carrying power through the suit. On his back is a small, advanced battery-pack-like object, which is in fact an anti-gravity flotation device. More or less, he wears a Tron suit.

Light humoured and easy going, Portal is easy to get along with. He has a bright demeanour and had an optimistic outlook on life ever since he discovered his superpowers. Living day to day knowing that he has powers and is going to become a superhero itself is a pleasure to him and he always stares into the future with bright, aquamarine eyes. His cheer is infectious and he does his best, too, to spread this pandemic. Armed with some tips from Zach, his naturally socially adept best friend, he does his best to make friends... though he will often end up making a fool out of himself and get really embarrassed.

Having been educated at an all-boys school since kindergarten, Portal has little experience with girls and is rather shy around them and more prone to mistakes, but Zach had told him that they are not scary at all, having obtained a girlfriend himself, and he works eagerly at getting one himself.

Peter grew up in a good environment and had been instilled with kindness and a strong sense of justice. Heroes had always been his role model and he seeks to in their footsteps on the path to righteousness. After, by miracle, he got his powers, he no longer believe that anything is impossible in this world and while he has an ounce of strength within him, he will fight for what he knows is right, against all odds.

Despite his naive and happy-go-lucky ways, Peter is, in fact, used toil and hardship. He did not become captain of his school soccer team through talent as Zach had, it was all hard work and determination. The miracle that was his obtaining of power had greatly affected him. The ideal that "if you believe, you can achieve" has been lodged into his mind and he will always encourage and preach about dreams and that one's dreams, no matter how wild, are possible should one be ready to take the effort to follow through.

Born an average boy to a relatively wealthy household, as both his parents were doctors, Portal lived a nice ordinary life that any person should, though he also went to a rather expensive all-boys private school. He did not particularly excel at anything, with the possible exception of soccer, his grades were just at the standard and his athletic ability was somewhat above par because of extreme soccer training. Despite his averageness, like any other boy, he dreamed of being a hero, he dreamed of greatness and drawing the admiration of the crowds, he dreamed of his generic, but beautiful dream girlfriend who he would save from depraved villains who he would then convert to the good side, but Peter was, unfortunately, nothing special. There was pretty much nothing to separate him from an other ordinary person. He also had no access to channels and special connections to go through body modification and attain superpowers. He had zilch, nada, but a person can dream. A person can wish.

Peter had a childhood friend who was the envy of all around him, and for always, had been Peter's idol. That was Zach Freeman, born of the son of an extremely influential multi-millionaire businessman, Zach got anything he wanted. He also had the fortune of being extremely handsome and smart and to top it all, he had superpowers. He was naturally far more athletic than your average person, but he also had the ability to manipulate flames. However, Zach's dad kept it under control, he did not wish for his son to be dragged away and exposed to the dangers of being a superhero without Zach coming of age and making his own decision with a clear mind. Nevertheless, Zach, at 14, decided that he would go enrol in a Teen Titans program while Peter could only watch with jealousy. He followed Zach over the news, through both triumphs and dilemmas and seeing all the great things that Zach did, Peter wished he could help, wished he could be part of it.

One day, a year later, Zach had returned to greet all his old friends back at home, and Peter once more felt jealousy bubbling within him. Unbeknownst to Zach, in returning, he had actually exposed his family to danger. A villain seeking revenge and confidential information had followed him and ended up kidnapping Zach's little sister, Maya. The villain had an advantage against Zach, he could fly. As Zach raced off to give chase, Peter called the police and tagged along to see the action. After a long chase, the villain stood atop a tall building, about to drop Maya off if Zach did not reveal a state secret. Peter could only watch helplessly as Zach was about to give in. He wished he could help, he wanted to help, he needed to help more than anything in the world... and just then, Peter felt something building within him.

"Don't tell him! He won't let her go! You know how villains work!" cried Peter.

Zach could only look at him sadly with tears in his eyes. "W-what e-e-else can I do....?" demanded Zach defeated.

Peter's emotions were about to burst, his hero, his idol, was about to fall, when, suddenly, Peter's whole body, clothes and all began to glow that aquamarine colour, the same as his eyes. He felt a burst of confidence welling from within and put a hand on Zach's shoulder to comfort him. "No... you will... you must save her..." and then, Zach disappeared, flashed from view, but for some reason, Peter knew exactly where Zach had gone.

Zach had been teleported up to the top of the building and he proceeded to deal the villain some swift justice as well as save his sister. The story ended with a happy ending and Peter could not be happier, for his friend and for himself. He had finally done something to help and more importantly, he seemed to have unlocked an innate psionic power.

Only a month later, Peter, who had earned the moniker of Portal, enrolled into the newest Teen Titans program, Teen Titans Alpha.

Portal's power is to teleport other solid persons or objects upon contact. He cannot teleport himself. His body shines aquamarine-ish white and anything that touches him will be teleported to a specific spot and any momentum that person or object had will be preserved. It is purely a psychic ability that defies physics.

Imagine it like a path or thread that is one inch thick. That path cannot go through physical obstructions, but it is small enough to fit through some larger crevices. As long as this path can reach it and the space is big enough to fit everything to be teleported, it can be sent there.

As stated before, the ability preserves momentum as well as an object's energy (momentum sort of is energy). He can teleport energy blasts and such, but typically these are great in volume and would be hard to teleport.

Though momentum is preserved, Portal may direct which way the momentum goes, for example, if someone is charging at him, he could teleport them to smash into the ground or if a bullet or other projectile was fired and he had reacted fast enough to use the teleportation, then, he can direct the bullet to fire back.

The teleportation cooldown is directly connected to the distance teleported. Every 10 meters adds 1 second to the base cooldown time of 0.5 seconds and the farthest he can teleport something is 150 meters.

Portal obtained the combat suit that belonged to the supervillain who had kidnapped Maya. It is a black suit with various lines going through, think of a Tron suit. It has powerful protective properties. The suit also has an anti-gravity device on the back and power gauntlets and boots for delivering extra-powerful blows. A rather standard suit devised by a somewhat smart villain.

Portal keeps in constant touch with his friend, Zach.
I got rid of duplication and put that her changing light in to attacks depend on the amount and tiers her out on top of just giving her basic flight cause she fly and the endurance is only a power when she being kicked around by people with super strength and dose not mean she is indestructible It just means if it took 1 punch to knock out a civilian and three punches to knock out batman it would take ten to knock her out.

Loving the app so far. Very cool. The bio is a bit cliche, but hey we are talking superheroes...

Making an app for this even if I might not get accepted. It'll come later today or tomorrow.

Can't wait to see it.

I'll try to explain the power in better detail, but it'll take some time for me to explain it better. Don't worry. It'll get done, but probably not unt late tomorrow.

Thanks. It doesn't seem like you are just trying to go with basic shapeshifting so I want to see the full gist of the power.

I know I am new here, and you aren't really wanting us newbies around, but I thought I would try my hand at this. I will tell you that this would be my first RP, but I love writing and have been doing it for years. I am also fairly well versed with the Teen Titans universe, as well as much as the rest of the DC universe. Regardless, it was fun to create the character.
Name: Thaila Finch
Nickname: 'Circe'
Age: 16
Gender: Female

Thaila is incredibly self conscious, and so while not in battle she wears the most conservative clothing she can find. These consist of an olive green turtle neck and a pair of old worn jeans. At one point, Thaila tried to wear contacts, but after that dreadful experience quickly switched back to her black rimmed glasses. The only eye catching thing about Thaila's attire is the silver ring she wears. It is fairly modest, as far as jewelry goes, but has a sort of simplicity that is beautiful in its own right. Thaila has hair that can't decide if it wants to be brunette or red, the result being a deep burgundy color. Her hair is long, stretching to just above her waist. Due to her tampering in the arcane arts, Thaila's eyes have long since changed color due to the excess of mana she deals with. Originally an average brown, they are now a bright violet that is the most definitely eye catching feature of her person.

When going into battle, Thaila makes only a slight change to her wardrobe. Thaila wraps her cloak around her, ready for battle. The cloak is a violet that matches her eyes, but when she puts it on it changes the color of her sweater and jeans to match. The edges of the cloak are lined with glittering runes that shift and move around.

By definition, Thaila is a sorceress. She has the power to draw upon the magical energy, or mana, of the world and channel it to fit her needs. She is a fairly inexperienced magician, and has trouble casting unfamiliar and/or more powerful spells. In order for Thaila to use her magic she must first say an incantation to activate the desired spell. In times of great danger or panic, Thaila can call upon her magic without the use of incantation and it is here that she is at her most powerful. In this state, she can cast incredibly powerful spells by thought. Unfortunately, in the rare occurrence that this happens she passes out soon afterward, channeling that much magical energy takes a toll on the human body and if the cost is too high could even kill Thaila. Thaila has a special link with her spell book. She always knows where it is and can summon it to her hands in an instant. She make it float around her, flip pages without touching it and even increase/decrease its size. In exchange for this control, the link also makes it so that any damage the book feels, Thaila also feels. Therefore if the book were to be set on fire, Thaila would feel as if she was being burned. The book is incredibly hard to destroy through physical means and only a few spells can harm it.
Spells:
Conserva me, pater antiqui.- This spell creates a barrier of pink mana around the target Thaila casts it on. The barrier shatters very quickly, but can usually stop at least 1 solid attack.
A foras regni magicae, pugni.- This spell opens a small portal to the realm of pure magical energy and out of it erupts a fist of mana that strikes at the selected target.
Mater Natura, ligare.-This spells causes vines of mana to erupt out of Thaila's book and ensnares any target.
Commoda mihi cornu.-This spell summons forth a cloud of pink mana that Thaila can ride on, allowing her to float/fly. The cloud only lasts for a maximum of an hour and can only travel at a max speed of 25 mph.
Emitte ventis notoria.-A small tornado made of pink mana erupts from Thaila's spell book at any target.

Sorceress Robes: This cloak is imbued with mana and makes it easier for Thaila to tap into the reserves of mana within nature. It is also enchanted so that it will not rip or tear. It will also guard Thaila from most magical based attacks.
Arcane Tome: This is Thaila's spell book. It contains thousands of spells, incantations, potions, etc. but due to the fact that Thaila is teaching herself, she has only been able to master a few different spells.

Thaila is incredibly shy. She doesn't like to talk to people…or really even be around them. Her voice is very light and soft, a personification of her shy nature. Thaila doesn't really know what it is like to have a friend, so meeting people and getting to know them are untraveled grounds to her. She is easily embarrassed and thus keeps her mouth shut most of the time. Due to not having much of a social life, Thaila has found a world all its own in books. She loves to read and can spend hours pouring over text. Even in the modern times, where actual books are hard to come by, she has quite the collection. She loves the way books smell, feel, the noise the pages make as they turn. They are, in her opinion, perfection. Because of all her reading, Thaila is fairly intelligent, although due to her shyness that aspect is often overlooked.

When Thaila does open up, people find that she is a very nice person. She tries to look out for other people's feeling, but still speaking her mind and what she believes to be right. Thaila tries to do what is best for everyone, and very rarely is she ever selfish.

Thaila's self-consciousness has led to her locking away most of her magical power. She is afraid to let loose for fear of being too different, for fear of being a freak. It is suspected that within Thaila is a vast amount of magical power that has never been seen before.
Thaila was born as the middle child of five children. An older brother and sister and then a pair of baby twin boys. She was often left out, excluded by her parents. Not on purpose of course, but the fact that she is a middle child, coupled with shy attitude often led to her being overlooked. Thaila learned to entertain herself, and take care of herself. That of course didn't mean that she didn't feel lonely at times.

To feel this void, Thaila would read. She would read anything she could get her hands on. It was one day walking into a VERY old book store that she changed her life forever. Picking what looked to be the oldest, dustiest book in the world, Thaila picked up one of the last few copies of the Arcane Tome. At first the runes just looked like gibberish, but before long they started to move and rearrange themselves. They began to make sense. But of course, then it was all just hocum…until she read them out loud. Alone in her room, in the dead of night, Thaila spoke the words 'Ego præcipio portas presbyterorum aperire et revelare semitam magicae' (I command the gates of ancients to open and reveal the path of magic). With a flash of light, Thaila was no longer sitting in her bed, but standing in the realm of magic.

It was just a mass of swirling energy, it was chaos, yet perfection. Confusion, yet beauty. It was everything, yet nothing. It was magic. Upon entering the realm, she could feel something start to stir within in her. Something old. Something power. A voice spoke in her mind, a deep voice. An ancient voice. 'I have waited long to meet you, young sorceress. But the time for us to meet face to face has not yet come. Learn. Train. Save. And then return.' When the voice grew silent she was overcome with a sense of vertigo and ended up back in her room.

From then on, she poured over the Arcane Tome, trying to undercover its secrets. She tried to keep her powers a secret, hiding it from her family. She had a few close calls, like when she turned the family cat into a meowing cupcake, but managed fairly well to keep her magical abilities low key. It wasn't until the Justice League came knocking on her door that her family learned of her secrets.

Apparently, the Justice League had been watching her ever since her trip to the realm of magic, and suspected she had great potential. This was finally her chance to make something of herself. Finally a chance to be something more than just another Finch. Packing up a few things, she went with the Justice League, becoming the newest member of Teen Titans Alpha.

Normally, I would so no. Just because you are so new here. BUT, this character you created is pretty cool. So I am going to give you a chance by having you submit an RP sample. Basically, just type out a scene with your character so that I can see how you write. I want it to be a battle scene, seeing as those are the fastest paced and possibly most difficult scenes to coordinate properly. If you can do that, then I will consider putting you in this RP. :D

Here is my app.
Name: Ria Sky (real surname unknown), a.k.a. Gale

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: 5' 6", tanned skin, athletic frame. Ria is in top physical condition, with every muscle of her body defined and toned. As a result, her bust is rather small. Her face and arms have small scars from childhood fights, each one showing her conviction to protecting those in need. Her eyes are wide and pale blue-grey, always showing a confident and mischievous soul behind them. Her straight, bleach blonde hair reaches her upper back and is usually tied back into a ponytail. Since her powers require that she not wear loose clothing, almost all of her clothing, including her fighting suit, is skin tight and form fitting. Her common outfit is usually a sports bra with a vest with thigh high shorts and stockings. Her fighting suit is a light blue jumpsuit that exposes her arms made of special cloth, courtesy of the Justice League, that protects against cuts and some blunt force.

Powers and Abilities: Ria has the ability to manipulate the air and wind with her mind and body (similar in the way of Airbenders from Avatar). By focusing and performing appropriate body movements, she can create, amplify and nullify wind currents. Her abilities are apparently fuelled by both her physical strength and her mental state, meaning that if either are injured or otherwise incapacitated, she has little to no use of her abilities. Ria must also "be in tune with the winds", meaning that she must also have tight fitting clothing that will not create air currents that might disrupt the air currents she generates. In order to keep her strength up, Ria follows a daily routine of physical training and meditation.

At her current state, she is able to use her abilities to:
- Fly at speeds up to 70 km/h and up to altitudes of 50m (approx. 15 stories)
- Generate gusts of wind that can knock enemies clear off their feet (approx. 160 km/h) in short bursts in a small area.
- Manipulate her long ranged weapons in flight for almost perfect accuracy against moving targets
- Bolster her physical strength and striking power

Standard Equipment/Weapons: Ria carries multiple weapons to fights, all of which she is skilled with:
- Heavy throwing darts that are shaped to catch Ria's air currents, allowing her to throw harder and farther than most normal people, making them pack a potent punch
- A steel rope dart on a 3m long string that is also shaped to catch Ria's air currents, allowing for harder strikes and quicker drawback
- A large folding fan with a 2m span made of bamboo and rice paper. Despite its apparently weak build, it is nearly unbreakable and is used to generate powerful gusts of wind while also being a potent striking weapon.

Personality: Ria is very energetic and sociable while brash and a little hard headed, making her naturally likeable. She is also prone to mischief, often playing pranks on both friends and strangers alike. However, she is very loyal to her friends and put her life on the line to protect the meek and the innocent. Ria is aware of her lack of intelligence and is very humble about it, willing to learn what she can whenever she can. An avid and open consumer of ero-manga, Ria acts a little perverted at times, making uncomfortable references to her hobby. In battle, Ria fights fiercely and relentlessly, but will not kill anyone and will not fight a crippled enemy, preferring to fight them when they are at full strength. Ria's honorbound and hard-headed nature often makes her prone to manipulation, both intentional and not.

Biography: Left by her parents at birth, Ria was raised by the priest who found her on the church doorstep in a small town on the Canadian West Coast. Her formative years where heavily shaped by the priest's teachings, giving her a very strong sense of morality. As a result, when she went to school, Ria would often stick up for the bullied, sometimes against bullies twice her size and age. However, this often got her into a lot of fights, causing her to return from school covered in cuts and bruises. It was in this strife in which Ria discovered her ability to manipulate the wind. However, having little control over her powers, Ria ended up breaking a bully's legs by throwing him up into the air during a fight. This attracted the attention of the Justice League, who decided that she would make a good candidate for the Teen Titans program. It was with the Justice League where Ria learned to control her powers and train her mind and body.
