He likes to adorn a stereotypical labcoat on occasion, as if to show of and flaunt his role, though this is sparsely worn, mostly to important events or when he feels like he needs to get some respect in the form of his intelligence. Otherwise, and underneath the lab coat, he generally wears a pair of ordinary, denim jeans and a casual T-shirt or plain white shirt. On his belt hang multiple pouches for different concoctions of his, and many different drugs/medicines, along with one full of scalpels. He also carries a rather large back pack with him generally, containing a spare change of clothes, his med-kit, food, etc. [/spoiler]
[spoiler=Personality:]Nicholas has always been a very intelligent person. He's incredibly insightful and intuitive, able to register and analyze even the slightest details and has an amazing ability for subjective reasoning and 'thinking outside the box'. This is also coupled by a rather perseverant and hard-working personality that means he will often get the job done, and done well. This almost perfect combination is then matched with a fervent curiousity, and an intense desire to quest for knowledge, meaning he has a rather in depth knowledge on a lot of subjects, and is a jack of most trades, and a master of a few.

 

Due to these factors, he had many subjects or options for him to choose between when it came to a future. The role of Doctor and Medic came as a result of the other part of his personality; the kind philanthropist sorta guy. He's always had a need to help others, from a small, injured bird to wounded soldiers, he would attempt to help them all when he got the chance. As such, he had always loved jobs such as Doctors and the like.

 

His Job and the severity of the things he deals with has left him rather serious when needed, and some of the things he has seen has left him quite mentally scarred, and as such, it can hard to truely get on his good side. Especially for those who fight, for he is an intensely pacifistic person, and will blame any form of fighters for the wounds he has to heal on others. Not that he is incapable of fighting himself. But he knows when to fight and when not.

 

He can, however, put on a rather friendly act. He might not be initially trusting or friendly, but he can definitely seem it, and knows how to get on the good sides of most people. This is possibly aided by the fact that he is one of the few genuinely nice people in the world, and as such is easily trusted by others.

 

His reaction to the Nanites was initially one of relief and thankfulness - the meteor had not killed, or even injured anybody, meaning he wasn't needed to help anyone especially urgently. The Nanite infusion was what he was most thankful for, as it made his job a lot easier,, and was a miracle for helping others. But he has chosen to hide his powers unless necessary, as there are people like this 'rebirth' out to find and eliminate people like him.[/spoiler]

What is XD in your year system? Also, assuming that these are equivalent to Earth years, 1000 years is an awfully short time for life to start appearing on a planet. It took the Earth half a billion years for the first single-cell organism to appear and almost 3 billion years for those organisms to become actual, though primitive, animals.

His thin body is covered in gun and knife scars, and even a closed Rottweiler wound, all of them reminders of the enemies he'd slain. His full-body uniform under his cloak is made of hardened black leather and is extremely adjustable to the point where it seems to be purely consisting of straps. While it provides only minimal protection, it does not impede movement and is incredibly light. He wears fingerless gloves with steel knuckles and black bandage-like fabric is tied around his lower arm and calves. To make a long story short, he is dressed, more or less, like some sort of advanced ninja, but with a camouflage cloak to cover it all.

[hr][spoiler='Personality']Despite his forbidding outer appearance, dull eyes and bored-sounding voice, Aleksander very much likes the presence of others, of friends, and he goes at lengths to seek out camaraderie. However, his lifestyle has left him paranoid, there is perhaps an enemy around every corner, hiding within every shadow, there are legions out there who wish to seek revenge on him and those he was associated with and he did not survive for all these long years by accepting each and everyone who came before him. Those who know his underground reputation daren't approach him either, fearing Aleksander may well kill them. Now, he has further deterrent to others, the fact that he is Starfell: a monster, to be hunted, and to be destroyed.

 

Aleksander is not a social person, he was never given the opportunity to live an ordinary life. Any social attempts he makes are straight out of a manual, but he does take the effort to try to greet people. Seeing as he always wears a cloak (unless in combat), his usual caution around people goes mostly undetected and he is able to keep a hand on his weapon at all times without arousing too much suspicion. He is rather slow at recognizing and/or understanding jokes having lived a rather morbid, dismal and socially reclusive life.

 

Aleksander's goal in life is to attain happiness and more happiness. His ideology is that when more people are happy, when there is more joy in the world, it can be felt by those who are not blinded by vice, such as himself, and so, to ultimately make himself happier, he seeks to make others happy as well. He does not shy away from killing or exterminating those he considers evil, in fact, he felt purpose when killing corrupt businessmen and underground leaders on missions because, while it has lead to the sadness of that one and perhaps even that one's close relations, it leads to the happiness of many others, leading to more happiness in the end.

 

Attachment and friendship allows one to be closer, and share more of one's happiness. Aleksander finds that friends are another income for happiness, and it furthers him in his never-ending quest. He will follow his friends and refuse to let them go, unknowingly becoming almost possessive of them. He is unused to friendship however, and knows only that it brings him joy. They seem like no more than things that he mysteriously seems to care about and someday, maybe, he will come to care for them more than himself.

 

Aleksander is very cautious and observant, woe to an assassin who is not, and his perceptiveness allows him to follow along more easily and be a fast learner. He has found that he also likes observing the world around him, taking note of everything, ingraining important things into his memory. A vital skill to an assassin is the ability to assess a situation and issue a proper response to it as not everything will always go as planned and many times has Aleksander put this skill to use. He has great experience with combat and can recognize a great variety of combat patterns as well as discern tactics being used against him.[/spoiler][hr][spoiler='Combat Info'][spoiler='Primary Weapons']Three silenced semi-automatic pistols - two are designed to fire a bullets in rapid succession while the other is for precision shots as it is slower but has much greater speed, range and piercing power at the cost of being much slower. The rapid-fire ones are shorter and lighter black in colour, while the last is longer and sleeker and is black with a silver line running across it. Aleksander, being a former assassin, is an excellent marskman.[/spoiler]

[hr][spoiler='Fighting Style']Stealth is important for an assassin. He prefers to kill his enemies before they take notice of him, but when facing an enemy who is aware of his presence, Aleksander seems to retain a casual, unguarded position, or even pretend that he is unaware of danger, but he always has his guns ready, hidden under his cloak. He starts a battle off with a sudden frontal assault, using the element of surprise, before retreating and after that his battle tactics simply consist of diving behind cover and running and jumping out to attack when his opponent least expects it. He is a great climber and can make his way to the most unexpected of positions to snipe his foe.

 

Aleksander's close combat capabilities, however, are not to be underestimated as he is proficient in karate. He is very fast and has a high reaction speed. As effective as he is at fighting, however, he would probably just shoot you ASAP, even at close quarters.[/spoiler]

[hr][spoiler='Equipment']Infra-sight mechanical eye and patch: His eyepatch is actually made of one-way opacity cloth that allows him to actually see through it and his eye socket is taken up by a mechanical eye that can see infra-red rays (as well as normal light). The patch also makes people think he has a blind side when he really doesn't.

Camo-Cloak - Black/grey camouflage cloak, breaks up his outline at night and is made of a one-way cloth. He can throw it at people as a diversion.

Knife - a big knife carried in a sheath on his belt, back-up weapon.

Electro-bonding Boots - when turned on these boots cling to any surface, allowing Aleksander to scale vertical walls and even hang from ceilings while keeping his hands and arms free.[/spoiler][hr][spoiler='Techniques']Shoot - Self-explanatory, he shoots, you die. The end. He's really accurate and can shoot from pretty much any position.

Decoy Cloak - Cloak might get in his way and so, Aleksander is more likely to ditch it than carry it around. By firing some shots from a direction and throwing his cloak, they may well think that it is actually him. It is made of a synthetic cloth that acts similarly to a one-way glass and it allows him to also through it in someone's face and still accurately shoot them.[/spoiler][hr][spoiler='Power']Aleksander dubs his nanite power Shadowcutter. The nanites leave his body and take the form of a pitch black band approximately 0.5 to 1 cm wide and 0.004 cm thin and travels in straight lines, turning 90 degrees constantly back and forth to go diagonally and etc. Its caustic properties and extreme sharpness allow it to slice through even the hardest of armors, anything below 8 on the Moh's scale is subject to being cut rather easily, anything above can be slowly sliced through. However, the weakness is that the nanites shy away from any contact with living creatures (or newly dead creatures) other than Aleksander himself.

 

When spreading out, Aleksander has full control of the nanites path and he can detect whatever the nanites feel. The total possible length of all the nanite strands is 10 meters and the nanite extends at a rate of 7 cm per second, though half that speed or slower when cutting something. The nanites must be connected to Aleksander himself, should they lose contact, or should Aleksander move or detach them, they will stay and still be controllable for 3 seconds before they fly back.

 

Mostly, Aleksander uses them to cut through things in daily life, though in combat, he can use them to shred an enemies armor so that his bullets inflict more damage.[/spoiler][/spoiler][hr][spoiler='Other Info and Bio']Aleksander was an assassin who specialized in particularly dangerous missions and targeted powerful men with bodyguards. He worked exclusively for a specific underground corporation which had raised him and trained him, it is the very corporation that supports Rebirth from the shadows and where Rebirth attained much of his fortune (rather presumptuous of me to say this, but if Rebirth is an unknown person who took over, it would make sense that he earned his money underground). As he became a Starfell, he was rejected by the corporation (well, actually, they tried to kill him and he escaped) and he now lives as a freelancer doing odd jobs as well as delving into the underground to perhaps find some more darker work.[/spoiler][hr][/spoiler]

Yeah, but people do that anyway. And it also seems to be the most destructive/offensive.

Well, Neph did mention that fact in the application part. Their weakness is an offset for being versatile in allowing you to transform your body in certain ways.
