PS4

I don't deny that it has issues, but you're in straight up troll mode.  The launch ports were simply lazy.  Again, look at Need For Speed.  It's a noticeable step up from the PS360 versions.

The Wii U's issues are its advertising and the lack of a system-seller at launch.  They completely dropped the ball with both.

The main issue is that it put itself in a position to fail.

It would have had a much better chance if the PS4 had blocked out the second hand market, but as it stands, they're in trouble. Sales in the last quarter dropped significantly.

As for the games, we can say it was just bad ports, but we don't know until something else comes out. I like the idea of what they could do with Watch_Dogs on the WiiU, with your pad being your phone and all, but I can't say I'm not seriously worried about what'll happen to the port after the lackluster showings from ACIII and Arkham City. The prior of which has a tough time running smoothly in the first place.

Undoubtedly they'll get the software to back up the system by the end of this year, but they've dug themselves a hole that may take a miracle to climb out of.

> Note: The same thing happened with the GameCube though, so there's always a chance. After all, it's Nintendo. If anyone can do something extraordinary, its' them.

I think you're mistaken here. The PS4 will use PC architecture.

I worded it wrong.

The point was that they didn't actually run it on the actual PS4, but instead on a similar PC.

Here's you footage.

That's the exact gameplay I was talking about.

It wasn't actually the PS4 they were running it on.

I'm kind of confused, what do you mean? It's on the Playstation channel, it was shown during the PS4 conference and I don't recall completly, but I think it was even said that it ran on a PS4 during the conference. I'll have to go back and look for that.

They didn't say it was running on the PS4 at the conference.

And it wasn't. Probably because the PS4 isn't ready enough yet.

So, can you confirm it wasn't?

They were talking about it during a review of the conference on Giant Bomb.

You'd have to go find it yourself.

If you need any more convincing, you can be reminded that at most conferences, they don't actually show a lot fo the real games/systems stuff.

Take Aliens: Colonial Marines (which is shit and doesn't look anything like what they showed at E3) and the perfection that was the Bioshock Infinite demo (which is still amazing, but wasn't as amazing as the perfect demo that wasn't actually real).

I'm not talking about you convincing me, I'm talking about you giving me a confirm that it was not running on a PS4 (or at least a prototype of it) which you havn't. I also havn't been able to find that page, if you really want me to believe what you were saying, I need some link for it.

Ubisoft even said it wasn't. It was running on a PC.

alright, I guess that confirms it. I don't get why not, the game should be able to run on it fine, as Killzone did (which is actual footage from a PS4, if the footage they uploaded fromthe showfloor is not fake).

Exactly as I explained. Because it looks better.

Well they're showing off what the PS4 can do, not what a PC can do. The PS4 may not be 100 % finished (which sources say that it isn't), but they could at least show how it would look on the system in the god damn reveal of the system.

Ubisoft wasn't trying to show off what a PS4 can do.

Ubisoft was trying to show off their game.

Also, Sony didn't say it was a PC during the press conference for a reason.

They're trying to make it look the best it can. Literally everyone does this already, from the Battlefield 3 demo  for Xbox or PS3 to any random WiiU game from Nintendo's last E3 press conference. They run press conference games on PC because they look so much better.

I don't like the PS4. I am a big Sony fanboy and literally almost everything I buy is made by Sony but this... Doesn't interest me. I think for now I will be playing PC and PS3. Maybe in a couple years I will buy one but not right now at least.

Pretty much most of the games coming to the PS4 will come to PS3 as well so I have no incentive to really buy it...

Brothers in Arms: Furious Four (PS3), Destiny (PS3, PS4). Yea I think I got PS3 covered.

And if those are your only reason, then you probably are not extreamly got to buy them all, as you did not even say any first party games

It still doesn't interest me. None of what they said about the PS4 interest's me in the slightest, I am just not hyped to get it. Most likely for the next year or two publishers will announce games for both PS4 and PS3 so I still won't have an incentive and what do you mean by first party games?

Games exlusive to the Playstation. In the announcement they showed of around 4-5 exclusives, and not just some weak party titles, but big long lasting franchises ones such as inFAMOUS and Killzone.
