Aix Posted February 17, 2013 Report Share Posted February 17, 2013 I vote for newhat's Cosmic Genius, it addresses the Alien's problem of needing to get A-Counters on the field in the first place. Ren✧ Posted February 17, 2013 Report Share Posted February 17, 2013 My original thought with the genius monster is that when it is special Summoned again it loses its Xyz Materials...but then I realize its effect isn't dependent on that. The Surgical Team has a badass picture, so kudos there, but it seems to be a format or two behind. I can't speak to loudly here though, seeing as I am not too well versed in aliens. What I do know however, is that they are fairly dependant on A-Counters and Genius seems to address that better. Genius might be a tad harder to summon, but his effect seems to compensate for that and then we move on to originality and creativity. Genius card has a fairly original effect, stealing an opponent's monster just simply so your opponent can't have it is lulzy and seems to support the archetype fairly well. The Surgical Team, while a good card, is fairly bland, its effects are commonly found and do not pop out. My vote goes to newhat's Genius. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Surgical team is easier to summon, but I rather summon Gol'gar (am I spelling it right?). Genius addresses the problem of needed A counters, so vote goes to Newhat.
