Zoids: Wild Madness (PG-13, Not Started, Recruiting!)

Organized under strict rules and regulations, Zoid battles are fighting competitions held upon enormous battlefields, using mechanical combat units known as Zoids. The enthusiastic young warriors put their pride on the line, and sharpen their skills against one another.

 

 

Greetings YCMers! In light of my recent fascination with Zoids, I decided to make an RP of it. I hope this will spark interest in one of the greatest animes I grew up on,and entice people to help support and get a reboot of this epic series. And now, without further ado, on to the rules and regulations of this roleplay!

 

THE PLOT

Set shortly after the events of Zoids: New Century, it has been four years and the Royal Cup is coming up again in a few months. However, all is not well on planet Zi, as Zoids have started growing wild and crazed, ejecting pilots and going on violent rampages. Two factions are seeking to understand the cause of this behavior, the mysterious Z-Virus that infects both piloted and wild Zoids alike. One faction, the reborn Backdraft Group, seeks to control this Z-Virus to further their own plans of domination. The other group, an organization governed directly by the Zoid Battle Commission, seeks to eliminate the virus and make the world safe for all again. Which side will you pick?

The Host, or in this instance, will be the Judge. During each sanctioned Zoid battle, a Judge Capsule is launched and moderates the fight. It will determine the battle type, the area, but most importantly, the RULES. If there is no need for a Judge, then the Host will play a Team Captain (the person who buys and manages the Zoids).

Delano stands talls and proud  wearing a a red headband, black gloves, black short sleeved T shirt, a light gray vest with 2 pockets on each side of the vest, and dark grey cargo pants. Delano has black hair,light-blue eyes, clean shaved. 

 

Biography:

      Delano's family was known for use the Gojulas units either using them to defend their homes from bandits, in tournaments, or just testing out different weapon types on the Gojulas. When Delano turned 19, his family give him his own Standard Gojulas of his own. His family told him if he wanted to upgrade this Gojulas with new equip he would have to get them by his own power, and not given to him by his family. Afterwards, Delano set up with his new Gojulas, he named Ezu, in order to improve his piloting skills along with Ezu's parts.

 

Personality:

        Due to his family, Delano is a proud individual, with the habit of finding himself in the middle of troublesome situations. He is also generally friendly with most people with a few exceptions being those who give themselves off bandits or various other bad guys.

Age: 23
Gender: Male
Appearance: Elliot has a very tall and intimidating figure, coming in at 6'4". He has relatively tan skin, and has no hair. He wears a wine red peacoat, which matches the color of his Zoid. Under the peacoat, he sports a white shirt and a black/white striped tie, along with long black jeans. He also wears black leather gloves over his hands, and never seems to take them off around others. The pair of aviator goggles he wears on his forehead are rumored to have augmented reality capabilities.
Personality: Elliot is very serious about fighting and winning. He is very strategic, and never takes an opponent head-on. He rarely makes a challenge, often going off the unspoken rule of "The challenged decided the rules," which allows him to fight in an arena which suits him. He treats Zoids more as mechanical tools; disposable and replacable, and is easily ready to sacrifice others to win. This has proven most effective on the battlefield.
Biography: Elliot wasn't always cold towards Zoids. He once was like any other pilot, who formed a bond with his Zoid, and would always fight together. He even had an organoid. Well, more or less an attempted replication of one. Its name was Scope, and was feline-based, instead of dinosaur-based like most others. The two were inseparable. They almost always won their battles.
One day, while Elliot and Scope were traveling to a small tournament, they unknowingly passed through the Valley of the Rare Hertz. This was an area known due to the frequencies that were present in the area. They would make Zoids go on a rampage and would completely ignore the commands of the pilot, oftentimes attacking them instead. This affected Scope as well. Upon entering the Valley, the onboard computer of his Zoid began to bug out. Upon realizing why, he shut down his Zoid and ejected. However, Scope took over the Zoid and began attacking Elliot. He frequently told Scope to snap out of it, but to no avail. He tried luring them out of the Valley, but it wouldn't follow. He knew he had to do the one thing he never wanted to do: kill Scope. It was difficult for him, but he finally was able to trigger the EMP. It fried the circuits of Scope and the Zoid. Elliot was able to later repair his Zoid, but without any knowledge of how Organoids function, Scope was gone. After then, Elliot was unable to trust Zoids, and believes them to be no more than simple machines.

Appearance: A 6 feet tall man, palish white, waist long straight black hair, dark emerald eyes, worked out body, when in casual situation wears black jeens, short boots, a black belt, a dark blue shirt, a silver pendant with an x shaped ruby, has a tatoo of a black dragon on the left arm, wears leather gloves that cover all of his forearm, is often seen wearing a blakc overcoat or jsut with it lightly placed over his shoulders. when piloting wears a white with black and dark emerald details piloting suit protective armor and his necklace as usual. Never gets out of home without his gun.

Personality: Serious and straight foward, can be playfull and warmful when around with friends, always stay sharp so he isn't get by surprise, is very protective and thinks before he acts, in and out of a battle. He tries to help his friends when their in need or just when they need a lift to get back on their feet, leave his own problems aside most of the times to help others or to stay focused on what he needs. Feels lonely deep inside but doesn't let it out often. He can sometimes burst into a frenzy state, in and out of battles. Wants to find a way to stop all the madness beteween the two groups and the wild Zoids, being it by total anihilation of those who stand against him or by peace, doing anything necesary.

 

Bio: When a young teenager lost his best friend in an accident during training at the academy, decided to never let such thing happen again, lived to train to protect others rather than himself, sometimes being more selfish in order to do so, he never had a much lively social life due to the fact that he doesn't take care of his own issues, treasuring his best friend's necklace he worked his way up to the point tha the got his own personalized Zoid, named "Harida" in memory of his friend. Works for the ZBC.

Gender: Female

Appearance: The rather young Professor Emeritus of Zoidology from Cobelli University, Seru Veruga is rather short, clocking in at a couple inches above 5 feet, and is quite the lightweight, with a skinny frame and petit features that make her look half her age. However, her light-blue hair and dark-blue eyes make her stand out amongst her peers. She normally wears rounded glasses and has her hair tied up into a bun, and has on a lab coat over a blue shirt, a pair of jeans, and sandals. With her at all times is a personalized sapphire-colored tablet to do calculations on or a mug of coffee with plenty of cream and sugar to keep her going.

Biography/Personality: Seru is a rather absent-minded individual, having much greater skills understanding the Zoids she studies than her fellow humans, but her intentions are usually for the better. As a prominent Zoidologist (and yes, that is the proper term), she specializes in studying the ability for a Zoid and its pilot to form a symbiotic relationship and evolve together. As the best way for this symbiosis to occur is in heated combat, she has utilized grant money from her university to pursue the Royal Cup under Team Izmail (named after her dearly-departed father, rest his soul). Currently, the only Zoid she has is Mobii, her trusty Whale King base of operations/makeshift laboratory, but she is trying to recruit some promising pilots and interesting Zoids for her study team.

Zoid type: Whale King (white with blue eyes and bridge area)

Zoid Name: Mobii

Zoid Weapons: Mobii possesses a triple-barreled 720mm Electron Beam Cannon Turret mounted along its spine for heavy-duty combat, along with four forward-facing Electron Mass Driver Turrets along the front of the massive Zoid, two on each side, and two Electron Mass Driver Turrets in the rear. This combination of weaponry lets Mobii excel in point defense, as long as it isn't being swarmed by foes. Mobii's armor is quite thick, able to take quite the beating and keep on flying, though it does have numerous weak spots, such as the exposed engines. However, most of Mobii's systems are automated, requiring only a skeleton crew of nameless college interns that will never rise to any importance during the events of the tournament to keep it flying. Finally, Mobii can store up to 5 Zoids within its hangar bay, and load and launch them via its mouth ramp or a catapult hidden in its tail.

Biography :

Fuji is an orphan who lives in an orphanage, he loves zoids more than anything in this world. Even though he never rides one, in his free time, he always read a book about zoids. One day, a group of wild zoids appeared out of nowhere and started to attack the town as well as the orphanage. Seeing the destruction caused by the Wild Zoids as well as the death of his friends, Fuji fled to the south of the town, when he looked back, a wild zoids pursued him. He ran as fast as he can, only to be intercepted by the other Wild Zoids, feeling helpless, he close his eyes, waiting to be crushed by the wild zoids. At that time, he can hear the sound of a machine being ripped. When he opened his eyes, he saw that the wild zoids had been cut into two. When he turned his head, he saw a Wolf-Type Zoids standing in front of him.

 

At first he thought that he's saved by a Zoids pilot, but when it opened it's hatch, Fuji's surprised to find that the zoids is un-piloted. As he looked at the cockpit, there's a message on the pilot screen, it says "Come on! Get inside!". Confused by this, he decided to sit inside the cockpit. When he sit on the cockpit, the message on the screen changed, now it says "I'm Espada, nice to meet you, what's your name kid?". At first Fuji thought that it's the pilot of the zoids who send the message to him. But after telling his name, Fuji find out that the Zoids had no pilot and it's the Zoids, who is asking his name. The message on the screen changed again, this time it says "Don't worry kid, I won't harm you, I'm just looking for a partner, who can pilot me, Will you become my partner?". At first Fuji didn't answer, because he's afraid, but he know deep down in his heart, he want to become a Zoids pilot. The message on the screen changed again, it says "Well? I'm not going to force you, if you don't want to, I can put you down in the nearest city.". Finally after some minutes, he said "I accept your offer, I'll become your partner!". The message on the screen changed, now it says "That's the spirit! I'm sure that we'll get along just well!". From that moment Fuji and Espada become partner.

 

Times moves so fast, it's been 13 years now, Fuji had become a full-fledged Zoids pilot, and of course he's still piloting Espada. One day, he met with a Zoidiologist named Seru Veruga, interested in her research, he decided to join with Team Izmail, and helped Prof. Veruga with her research.
