B.A.P - One Shot

The group came back with a gangster-themed mini-movie video and have received a lot of praise for it.

I'm not sure what to think about it yet and I'll probably need to re-watch/re-listen some more.

I liked the song a lot. It has this nice orchestral background, but on the other hand, it seems like they're sticking with the recipe from previous singles like Warrior, Power or No Mercy. But the music itself is really nice.

 

As usual with the music videos, they're quite professional and this one is really up there. It's well-made, the ambiance and effects seem pretty spot on to me. I like these story-based music videos that see more like mini-movies.

 

But like I said, not sure what to make of it yet.

Their synchronising could use some work, but they're pretty strong live.

Though I think I know what doesn't completely sell this song to me. Are they doing pumps in the choreography? Live workouts?o.o Probably expected more from the chorus too.

I think they should have used Coma as the lead from the album. It's my favourite off of it, though One Shot is still pretty good.

Just looked it up and yeah, I love the song too.

Perhaps it would give Ji Eun from Secret more solo spotlight as well since she's supposed to be the main singer.
