Fireball (reunited with chalk at last!)

Getting the definitions right was tricky, cause the pastels I used only had corners to apply it as sharp as possible.

Also, the medium's blending tolerance made rendering a hassle.

And I had to crop it a little to get solid grid measurements for the blow-up process.

 

Otherwise, I'm kinda happy with how it turned out. Chalk is such a great medium!

It looks pretty good. You did a fantastic job with the fireball, and the perspective and shading of those gray sticks. The sky doesn't look as much like the original, but it looks good in it's own right.

 

The burned people is what I'd say needs a little work. I see that their perspective is unusual, so I can see the dificulties, though to be honest, I wouldn't have quite realized they were people if I hadn't seen the original image ^^"

 

but overall I'm loving it.

It's been around for a few months, and I'm not sure if it's officially affiliated yet since there's no absolute link to it on this forum.

And the reason why it's one-sided is because most people who'd see this there would already be a member here.

 

Glad you like it, though. Yes, the burning people was the hardest part, especially with the perspective.
