Great Unclean One: VK Posted February 9, 2013 Report Share Posted February 9, 2013 Let's post stories of how our GMs or DMs ran games. Or in my case, how I ran games. So one time, a bunch of guys wanted a challenge, their DM suggested they ask to DM a game for them since he knows I'm one sadistic mofo. Now I have a bunch of level 20's, 1 cleric, 2 fighters, and a thief. The setting is a extremely kiddy setting, what with star oceans, boats that sail in space, islands in space made of candy and dancing mice. They laughed when they saw this. They should have known better. They got on one of the islands filled with talking animals offering them cupcakes, candy, and soda saying it'll make them feel younger. They accepted and drank and ate as much as they want. I told them all to roll endurance and they all failed save the cleric. Nearly all the party members turned into little kids and felt urges to dance, play and never leave the island. Now I got a cleric babysitting kids, running from level 18 talking animals offering sugary treats and baked goods. They barely got back to the ship and now are sailing for Pirate Monkey island.
