"Honestly, I'm rather plain..." - Kaze 1

"The most satisfying pleasure for me is to see those dogs they give any respect on the floor, near death. And when their eyes meet mine, maybe they'll understand the sort of justice I package." - Kaze 2

Personal Info
Username: Justice Master Programmer
'Original' Name: Ventus Hadenbrook
'After the Strike' Name: Kaze
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Date of Birth: March 8th
Blood Type: AB
Hobby(s): Cooking, reading ancient literature, and building model cities.
Appearance:
558px-For_the_Barrel_-_1b.jpg

Kaze's personality and simple should rarely ever be in the same sentence  seeing as he has two. Kaze 1, as he will be referred to as of now, is rather shy and shut off from the world. He's paranoid, scared, and doesn't get angry. Ever. Few things really get Kaze 1 out of this state and to a more happy individual, but other than those select things, he is constantly living in fear. It's all he knows.

Kaze 2, on the other hand, is nothing like that. Kaze 2 is a sadistic, cruel, rude and has a strong, and debatingly distorted, sense of "justice." He has a level of pride that is immeasurable and is never one to flee conflict. In fact, he usually is the one that starts the conflict anyway. Kaze 2 is actually a bit supportive of the oil strikes, considering it as a divine intervention to rid the gene pool of the weak and recreate it with the intelligent and powerful.

They are both aware of the other's presence and essentially two different people, apart from the same body. Although they may get in fights for control, they usually coexist quite well. They do not know of what the other is thinking, though, and have to communicate through speaking, which is looked upon as odd by others.

The story of Ventus Hadenbrook begins at a foster home. They never would reveal where exactly they found him, but they did. He had to be one of the shyest kids there, if not the shyest. While Ventus spent his early life to four in the grasp of the small foster house, luck struck him, one of the few he would ever experience. He was adopted by a highly religious family, the Hadenbrooks, who took him off to their highly religious community.

Ventus spent those beginning years from 5-11 depressed, fully acknowledging his orphaned life. In that community, he was not allowed to be angry, instead, it was to be suppressed within himself. He was beaten there, every time he broke their rules, even the smallest ones. He had never even gotten the chance to know what rage felt like, he just simply wasn't allowed to be that way. The only thing that cheered him up was the wind that blew past him occasionally. It was so careless, so free. He wished he could be like the wind, but alas. And so, he was miserable for those years, like the rest of his time there, but at age 11, something happened. Something inside him manifested. The anger that he had never expressed became more than just emotion, but a whole other person. At first he was rather scared of his alter ego, but as time passed, he became more accepting of him. When Ventus didn't want to be out, when he was scared or alone, he had that other person to take over or keep him company.

The community did not like this other being. Not. One. Bit. They continuously told Ventus that the other one was just a devil that had invaded his body and to ignore him. Of course, Ventus didn't trust them. They had beaten him, treated him like trash, but his other self helped him. For six years he lived hiding his friend from the religious nutcases, but that's when it happened. The "Oil Strikes" hit the Earth and no one really was sure what to do. The community considered it a punishment from God. And one person got all of their blame for being a cause of this mess. Ventus. Even after he had his own little apartment there, he was constantly harassed by the people. The monsters usually didn't affect them. Every once in a while, there'd be a sighting and everyone would go into hiding. Ventus saw one once. He couldn't quite describe it, but he knew it was a monstrosity. Yes, that was the word for it.

A year after the first "Oil Strike", the townsfolk decide to collectively have a day to torment Ventus. His apartment was ransacked and he was forced out. While the other him wanted to take over and attack, Ventus assured him that there was no way they could live against them. And while he fled for a few minutes, they chased him off to a cliff nearby. Ventus peered down at the drop that wait for him before looking back to the angry mob that awaited. And then, a solitary rock hit Ventus' feet causing him to step back in pain. But there was simply nothing to step on to. And so, he fell, his beloved wind whooshing past him. And, the first time that day, he was happy. His eyes opened, seeing the ground approach. As a final gesture, he shut his eyes. And then...

Nothing. No smack. No splat. Nothing at all. Instead of the gates of heaven appearing when he opened his eyes, he saw a mostly empty room, with exception being himself, a desk, a chair, and a strange computer. Though before he had time to react, his other personality scolded him for his prior actions. The other was sickened by what occurred. But after his little rant to Ventus, the two observed the odd computer that lie in front of them. They took a seat down and stared at the small light source that flickered from the screen. It was a log in to something called Exousia: Ascendancy. The only other option besides logging in was to create an account. Since there seemed to be nothing else of which to do, they decided it was best to just make one. After setting up the account details, they were asked some questions, really odd ones, too.

After they had completed the odd quiz that came with making an account, they got a message. And, out of everything it could have said, it told them to walk through the computer. This angered the alter ego, taking it as some stupid practical joke. He took control of the body and picked up the chair, thrusting it at the computer. Oddly, the chair didn't hit the screen. Hell, it didn't hit anything. Ventus dropped the chair and began to walk into the odd space that the chair revealed.  And all of a sudden, flat on his back, there he was. On the bottom of the cliff. He got up, looking around, unsure about what was going on, but that was when one of those... those things appeared. It approached the duo with all intent on violence. And simultaneously  the two reacted to the monster lunging at them. A tornado imprisoned the beast. And with a slight push of their hand, it was launched miles away. It was then, voices filled both Ventus' minds. Telling them they were an Adachi or something and were destined to protect the world with six others.

He also was given a new name by the voices. Kaze. He liked it, but they wanted him to help protect the world from the Voraer with others. While the alter ego was fond of the concept of killing these monstrosities that he was blamed for being the cause of, Kaze didn't want that pressure of the entire world. And so he began to fly using small tornadoes under his limbs to keep him airborne. He just wanted to get away, but where he was headed was all apart of the plan, unbeknownst to them.
Combat Info
Plane: Wind
Primary Weapon(s):
A pair of brass knuckles he found in a nearby dump. Kaze 1 won't use it, but you'll be damned if Kaze 2 doesn't. They've been sharpened to deliver a piercing stab to the opponent.
Equipment/Other minor weapons: N/A

Techniques:
Kaze 1 and 2 may have the same body build, but two different minds. Kaze 1 really only benefits from his speed and ability to jump a bit higher and further than others. Kaze 2, otherwise, has both of these plus a good knowledge of how to fight, though only with his hands.

Fly: Using four controlled mini-tornadoes, he's able to prop himself in the air for a limited amount of time.

Air Wave: Kaze is able to blast back opponents using a powerful gust of wind.

Gust ShieldKaze creates a speedy, circular air cycle to deflect projectiles.

Justice Master, accepted. I'll edit it into the OOC. If no one else applies, I'll make a second app, but I hope someone else joins. Also, MAJOR new powers are going to be after sort of serious events. Not too soon. Smaller stuff might be from killing first hard-ish enemy, etc, kind of soon.

"I don't need you. I've never needed anybody."

Username: ~Renegade~Programmer

'Original Name: Tabitha Thomas

'After Strike' Name: Terra

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Date of Birth: 18

Blood Type: A-

Hobby: Terra likes to draw and paint. A natural artist. Her works are usually landscapes.
Terra is short ins stature, reaching only about 5'4". Her skin is slightly tanned and she has bright blonde hair. Her eyes are a deep green with flecks of yellow in them. She usually wears short shorts and a black tank top. She does not appear very muscular, but ever since gaining her powers she has noticed a significant increase in her strength. Over her tank top she wears a white bomber jacket and within her jacket are two specially made holsters that carry her two laser pistols. She wears a belt with a knife sheath to carry her dagger. Around her neck she wears a necklace with a small, silver sphere at the end of it.

Terry is a very solitary person. She has never relied on anyone and doesn't want anyone to rely on her. She is very stubborn and set in her ways. Despite her brash and hard exterior, on the inside she is fairly self-conscious. She has seen what she can do, creature fissures and produce earthquakes, and how it can hurt people. If it because of this she is afraid to let her true power be seen. Often times she only uses her laser pistols to fight and only uses her powers on the most minuscule scale. When Terra does result to using her full power it is quite terrifying and destructive. Being an artist she is very creative and innovative, she often finds ways to solve problems with a simple answer.

Terra's entire life has been a lie. She grew up in house as an only child and with just her mom to look after her. The story went that her father walked out on her mom before Terra was born. As Terra grew up she endured abuse from her mother. She took it quietly and hid the signs. During one of her mother's drunken rages she let loose the fact that Terra was adopted and that everything she thought she knew was just a fairy tale. This was the finally thing that Terra needed to snap. She packed a bag and left home at the age of 12, never to return. She read in the paper that her adopted mother died of a drug overdose, and Terra didn't care. That wasn't her mother, that wasn't even her friend. Terra went through life as a kid on a street. Constantly she wondered why she wasn't good enough for her birth parents? Living on the streets forced Terra to become a master thief. She was the bane of small businesses and for awhile she went uncaught. It wasn't until she grew bored of the heist jobs that things started to get bumpy. With boredness comes laziness. It was Terra's laziness that got her into trouble. She messed up and now she would have to run away again. She ran from the android police men that chased her. Making a desperate play, Terra ducked into an abandoned warehouse and hid out. Without realizing it she fell asleep. Waking up in the middle of the night she found a computer that she hadn't noticed before. She got up and started typing away on it. She wasn't aware of falling asleep again, but she woke up to find the computer gone and the only thing strange was the symbol now tattooed on her right shoulder. It wasn't long after that Terra realized that she was meant for something more. That she was more than just a common thief and that she could perhaps save the dying world.
Looks like I'm not the only one with the spoiler glitch. :/

You gotta put apostrophes in the spoiler title in order for the spoilers to work. A little piece of advice so you can edit it properly. ;)

Thanks. Not sure if I am liking all these YCM updates.

EDIT: Still didn't work...

Wait we can't know the adopted parents either?

Dang! Well I was going to say just edited my app, but gotta go edit it again.

I think you're allowed to know your adopted parents. I suppose what Neph meant when he said, "orphan or adopted" was that those were your choices.

EDIT: I also saved your current bio, just in case you change it before reading this and still want to use it.
