Evolve!

My new concept is evolve cards. They are similar to fusion cards in a sense, as it requires destroying 2 cards to get a new one. by removing from play the proto card and sending the evolve card from the field to the graveyard, it gives you an 'Evolved' Form of the evolve card. Here is the first trio

 

Zen Mantis

Wind ****

Insect/Evolve

By removing from play "Blade Mantis" from the field, and sending this card from the field to the graveyard, special summon "Diablos Saikun Mantis"

ATK: 1600 DEF: 1900

 

Blade Mantis

Fire ***

Insect/Proto

Destroy the monster that destroys this monster at the end of the battle phase that this card was destroyed in, and inflict 900 points of damage to your opponent's life points

ATK: 1700 DEF: 1100

 

Diablos Saikun Mantis

Wind *******

Insect/Evolved

This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card cannot be special summoned except with the effect of "Zen Mantis". Each standby phase, you can flip a coin. If it is heads, this card's attribute is also treated as light. If it is tails, this card's attribute is also treated as dark. Depending on this cards attribute, you may activate one of these effects

*Dark-This card inflicts piercing damage

*Light-Each time you attack, you gain 700 life points.

Here is the next one. and this time the evolve one has additional effects

 

Strike Gear-Rex

Earth ******

Machine/Evolve

By removing from play "Strike Gear-Ray" from the field, and sending this card from the field to the graveyard, special summon "Strike Gear-Space Rex". By discarding the top card of your deck, and paying 500 life points, remove from play one spell or trap card on the field.

ATK: 2300 DEF: 1400

 

Strike Gear-Ray

Wind ****

Machine/Proto

This cards type is also treated as Winged-beast. Remove from play one spell or trap card on your side of the field to inflict 1500 points of damage to your opponent.

ATK: 1900 DEF: 1100

 

Strike Gear-Space Rex

Fire ********

Machine/Evolved

This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card cannot be special summoned except by the effect of "Strike Gear-Rex". By removing from play one spell and one trap card on your side of the field, destroy all cards on your opponent's side of the field.

ATK: 3100 DEF: 2700
