When this card is flipped face-up: Place 1 You Got It Boss! Counter on this card. You can remove all You Got It Boss! Counters from this card; its ATK becomes 2000. After you change this card's ATK with this effect, it cannot attack your opponent directly for the rest of this turn, and is sent to the Graveyard during the End Phase. You can Tribute this card to target 1 "Photon" or "Galaxy" monster in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand.

It's not really that good for the deck it supports. It's too slow to be anything other than a tech.

Even then, it doesn't help the deck a lot. It fetches back Thrasher or Galaxy Wizard. But since it will no doubt eat up your normal summon, you can only make us of the former. Which whilst good... In a deck tight on space, this isn't brilliantly helpful for them.

However, the counter names are hilarious. I still use it  just because of that.

This card fails to REALLY benefit Photon/Galaxy Decks.

It's very nice as a Machine Dupe target, allowing for Rank 4 Xyz including Photoknight Paladius, but the counter effect may as well not even exist, as you're unlikely to actually use it. It's too slow, needing to be flipped. 2000 DEF will let it at least survive an attack, but becoming a 2000 ATK only helps if you want to Summon Galaxy-Eyes, and Photon Sanctuary is infinitely better and more versatile.

Being able to recover a Photon/Galaxy from the Grave by Tributing this isn't awful, but if you Normal Summoned this, the best target is Thrasher or Galaxy-Eyes. If you had Set it and it got attacked, then you may have the option of grabbing Galaxy Knight or Galaxy Wizard, depending on your hand and options.

Since it isn't a Photon or Galaxy on its own, it can't use any of the support. The best factor again is being Dupe-able, but unless you're running Satellite, there is no point to running Machine Duplication. So in that sense, it would be pretty solid, or at least considerable, in a Photon Satellite Deck. In regular Photon/Galaxies, there's just no space for this.

The problem with Photons will always be that they have no real method of regaining card advantage. This continues that trend, by just being a +0 that (possibly) used your Normal Summon.

When Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Place 1 You Got it Boss! Counter on it. When sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Photon" or "Galaxy" monster from your Graveyard to the hand. You can Tribute this card with 1 You Got it Boss! Counter on it: Add 1 "Photon" or  "Galaxy" monster from your Deck to the hand.

OT:

Well, I don't have much experience with Photons or Galaxy cards. Especially Galaxy cards, but it's easy to tell the counter is just random as a flavor effect. As for the recycling effect, you are probably better off even running Beckoning Light at times, and that's not all that great either... maybe it's better in practice?...
