4/5 Stars

David Wain knows his comedy.

This movie is great and funny as hell. Nothing like some good ole Hippy cliches to get things rollin. The plot is just hilarious and so is the comedy, the chemistry between Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston is dynamic and the supporting cast is well deserved of praise. The directing and scenery are simple and perfect and crisp. I also noticed some great side plots and devices. The ending worked well with everything, even the plot.

I loved the great scenes and the original plot devices. The main problems that confronted this movie were mainly some minor pacing issues and just some weird twists that made no relevance with anything honestly. I felt the cinematography was excellent.

David Wain proves himself a capable director to me considering I had never seen a movie by this guy before (Which I now regret). Although the plot is great and the acting superb, there are just some parts with antagonists that don't make much sense and the pacing speeds up too much at times. However, this was a good movie nonetheless and it is a shame it was bad at the box-office.
