You will notice that I personally never complained about the name change at all. In fact, I'm perfectly fine with the change, as it's probably the most accurate translation they could have gone with, bar neglecting the "shy" part. It's usually because we got used to the original names/translations and prefer them to the new name. Such as me with the Machine Emperors becoming "Meklord". You failed to appreciate the underlying contextual themes of the post. First, and most importantly, it ends with a Gurren Lagann quote. A reference to Gurren Lagann automatically makes a post two to ten times as humorous, deep, and insightful. Second, a self-directed dig at the game the card ShyNEET Magician (AKA "Slacker Magician") is a part of, implying the game itself - and, by extension, the people who play it - are of low intellectual value, and therefore discourse at this level is in no way atypical. Third, a self-directed dig at the online message board in which this discussion is taking place; a message board which is known - especially by its members - to have an extremely low level of intellectual discourse, such that a topic on this subject is not only to be expected, but perhaps above average (for instance, to properly discuss this topic, one must be aware that the world has more than one country, and has more than one language).
