Zazubat
I recently thought of this idea for the next Yu-Gi-Oh game/app. Since with the 3DS and PSVita you can take pictures and support SD cards, you could have custom cards in your game for fun, or an app. How this would work is pretty simple. Take a picture/get one from your SD card, then scale it with a tool similar to that off YuGiCo or MSE, then put in the text, and save it. Of course being able to use them ingame would be fun, however that may not be possible. In that case, you would have to choose from options, say have an opition saying "this card cannot be destroyed by battle". Then if an other option contradicts that "when this card is destroyed by battle..." it would be grayed out so you can't use it. That's one way to make them playable simply for fun, though an App could be simpler and more dedicated. Anyone think that this would not work? How do you implement a picture in the game? Well look at LBP. It did it 5 years ago with the Playstation Eye. Why wouldn't you be able to do something like this on a Phone or 3DS/Vita? It's of course unlikely we will ever see this, but if anyone out there is an app developer, take my idea; I would like to see this become a reality.
