Well someone likes modern EDM

And just because I feel like it, I'll copy what you just did:
Aphex Twin (I bet none of you saw that coming), Radiohead, M83, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, Squarepusher, Nine Inch Nails, Autechre, Boards of Canada, Deadmau5, ISIS, Infected Mushroom, Omnipony, Alex S, The Crystal Method, The Prodigy, Zed's Dead, Scar Symmetry and a large amount of others

I also love modern EDM if I'm in the mood for it
Though I tend to keep to the more atmospheric and experimental
Styles of electronic music

I'm actually not surprised that you don't know most of the stuff I named off
Though I feel that you should at least know Infected Mushroom and The Prodigy
Not surprised that you don't know Alex S, Omnipony, and TapsFTW
They're all unsigned producers working inside internet fandoms
I'm not surprised that you don't know Boards of Canada, Autechre, Aphex Twin and Squarepusher
Their musical generation has gone completely dead
Atmospheric electronic is just not what people wanted to hear after the rave scene kicked in

((I can't believe that I had left out Dir En Grey in my list))

if were gonna go that route then i guess why not?

Les Rallizes Dénudés; Crystal Castles; Minus the Bear; ¡Forward, Russia!; Portugal. the Man; Godspeed You! Black Emperor; cLOUDDEAD; Portishead; HEALTH; Radiohead; Death Grips; Beirut; Death From Above 1979; Ruth White; tUnE-yArDs

its a lil sad that some of these groups dont have many fans :s

Crystal Castles and Portishead?!?
That's an awesome taste in music you've got
You wouldn't happen to know Massive Attack would you?

I like atmospheric electronic. I recognized Boards of Canada forgot to mention it. And The Prodigy.

BoC and The Prodigy are both classics

Massive Attack are kind of similar to Radiohead and Portishead
I'm planning on buying one of their albums sometime
And now you've listened to them:

Gorillaz are an okay band
Some of their songs are actually good to listen to
Feel Good Inc. had gotten ruined when the 2nd verse came around
I'd love to have a version of that song without that idiot rapper/hip-hop guy in it
Rhinestone Eyes was pretty darn awesome as well as Stylo

And yeah I wouldn't expect you to enjoy Massive Attack a whole lot Hayate

Muse are a little bit too showy for me
Their lead singer sometimes needs to calm his voice down
The guy throws in high notes and hold notes everywhere
To the point where it gets kind of kills the song
A lot of people like to say that they're repeating what Radiohead had done
And I can agree with that completely
Some of their songs are moody like Radioheads
And plus they went from rockers to experimenting with electronic music
That was popular in their generation of music

As for good songs by them:
Uprising - Which was their biggest song I think
Exogenesis Symphony Part I - The song in which the high and hold notes actually add to the song
MK Ultra - It's got a nice instrumentation

Stay away from:
Mad Men - Boring as hell that's all I need to say about this one
Undisclosed Desires - Catchy, but quite annoying and boring

Well before I go to bed
time for something completely different
Than what was mentioned before
During my dance unit in gym
We are going to be dancing to this song
(If you wanna skip to the song it starts at 4:20, yes I know)
(The music video's probably just parodying rap videos)

Late to the party but:

Close to Home, City Escape, CKY, Where the Ocean Meets the Sky, Issues, The Dead Rabbitts, Upon Beauty Rests, Sonic Syndicate, Shadows Chasing Ghosts, Ghosts on Pegasus Bridge, Sever Your Ties, Our City Skyline, One Hundred Steps, Machinae Supremacy, Altaria, Interpol, Letlive, Deciding Tonight.

Those were just off the top of my head bands most people probably haven't heard before. Lots of Post-hardcore but some other stuff.

Knights of Cydonia is a decent song by Muse, though it's kinda simple and a bit repetitive.

I'm quite a big fan of Gorillaz; had a pair of their converse until I lost one of the shoes. >.> Feel Good Inc. is obviously my favourite song, as it seems to be with everyone, but I still like their other stuff. And again, they're british. Automatic plus one for them. I like their originality as well, and the fact that you dont get to see much of Damon and Jamie, you instead see the cartoons is good.

As for my favourites, I guess I should get a small list of a few of my favourite bands. I'll edit it in to this post.

EDIT: Well, we've got...:

Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, metallica, Judas Preist, Pantera, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Dethklok, Napalm Death, Dying Foetus, Slipknot, Death, Asking Alexandria, Alexisonfire, Hoosiers, Gorillaz, Pearl Jam, REM, Lostprophets, Rise Against, Sex Pistols, Black Flag, Five Finger death punch, Dragonforce, In Flames, Motorhead, Disturbed, A7x, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Crossfade, Godsmack, Thousand Foot Klutch, The Offspring, Egypt Central, Pinn panelle, System of a Down, Mika, Nickelback, Within Temptation, Pillar, and many others. For now, these are the ones I could think of straight from the top of my head. There are many more than that; this accounts for a tiny amount of the songs that I have downloaded (Though there are only a few with actual albums owned by moi.)

I also thought that, since a lot of you seem to like electronic music, you might like this:

I do love the Hot Hand. It's quite a cool thing, and I find my self longing for one, despite their cost and the fact that it'll only get used for a week or two.
