Now that you point that out, you think this gens "Candy Full Heal" will be Cotton Candy?

Every gen has one, starting with Gen III, with the Lava Cookies. Gen IV had Old Gateau (Gateau is cake, if you weren't aware), and Gen V had Castelia Cones.

Not to mention Rare Candies make you stronger, and sweet drinks like Soda and Lemonade are great healing items.

So Pokémon are sweet teeth by default, then?

Regardless of what that stupid Nature/taste thing might say…

Anyway, I had a brainstorm regarding the whole groundbreaking news thing and whatnot, then I remembered what was constantly referenced in B2/W2: The ability to speak with Pokémon. Could it be possible that they would include something like that this gen?

Guys, in Pokemon, the allusion is that there is food in this world that ISN'T Pokemon.
It's only crazy-ass speculations n' junk that says otherwise; Even then, it's Farfetch'd

Anyway....
I'm now incredibly interested in that cotton candy Pokemon, seeing as it could either evolve in a similar manner to Vaniluxe, OR it just gets larger and larger on a single body.

To be fair, that was out of desperation, and to lead up to Karp's inevitable Evolution into Gyrados, to which, forced them onto that island in the following episodes.
Plus, nobody has ever TRULY eaten Pokemon, so nobody knows for sure if they are made of pure poison/moon rocks/etc or not.

Actually, I was under the same impression you were, but I went to Quinnicon last April and there was this Pokémon Philosophy panel (or something like that) and when I asked the guy that question, there was a resounding, "Yes" from everyone in the room and people looked at me like I was stupid >_>

See, they just needed to build up some form of resent for James to inevitably kick Magikarp overboard.
Coupled with the fact they were starving and out in the middle of nowhere, Magikarp seemed like the best choice. I'll stereotype this slightly and say it's Japan; Seafood is kinda' their thing- Only because this is relevant to my statement. Plus, they can't eat Pikachu, since, you know, it's the best friend of the main character and would be too heartbreaking to even consider. Karp is just random fish that James obtained out of nowhere.

Also, I've seen that comic before.
Pokemon are enigmatic creatures, yet, only use said 'attacks' for either self defense, or if required to in battle.
Add to it, Pokemon probably have the highest immunity systems on the planet, as well as best metabolism. I mean, think about it, no matter how much abuse/status effects/etc/etc they endure, they can always be healed by Poke Centers and/or their own natural abilities(Rest, Recover, Shed Skin, etc)

that incredibly legit, it Implied that almost every pokemons are at least 20% poison type if they can even learn  toxic but then again it is possible that each pokemons are least a little bit of each type to learn moves that aren't their type. Whatever the type moves they cannot learn doesn't have that element in their system.

as far I try to vaguely remember, didn't Pidgeotto tried to eat Ash's Caterpie? or was that just a flat-out battle?

Wait. Wasn't it said that people could eat Farfetch'd?

Anyway, on the topic of X and Y... Um... *tries to think of something valid to say*

These games will look somewhat like games. Maybe I'll be able to devolve my Gyrados into Magikarp, teach it Hyper Beam, and then teach it TM 101 Laza Blast.

Okay in all seriousness, how do we feel about the games still looking tile based (despite the fact that you can walk diagonally). I personally think it's just part of the game's style and looks pretty cool.
