Fixed my last post, since the image of that tree Pokemon changed.

Anyway...
You know what would be an amusing combination to see? Fairy/Steel. I mean, it's bad enough Dragon does 0 damage against Fairy, so being half Steel would just be throwing salt on the wounds. Plus, something that crazy having a 4x Fire weakness would be pretty funny.
(I only say 4x Fire cuz' I've heard that Fairy might be weak to Fire, and Steel already is)

The leak said Mawile was going to be made into a Fairy. If memory serves it even said it was going to get an evolution.

Also, if Fairy ends up being weak to Steel and Poison Steel/Fairy seems like a VERY good combo.

Okay, I hope that your memory, and the leak, is correct. That would make my day, seriosuly.

I'd like to see Normal be super-effective against Fairies.

I can imagine that causing some problems.

Imagine this, fairy is one of the slurs used for homosexual people. So, "Normal" being strong against "Fairies", that might stir up som controvesy.

I mean, sounds stupid, but people are stupid, you know?

Tbh Normal shouldn't be super effective against anything as its just a type to define things that don't really have a category. From second Gen onwards I was so confused onto why Girafarig is considered a Normal due to this. Pokemon like Pidey I understand due to its basic bird nature, but Girafarig...
'Cept Fairy beats Dragon, because Fairy also implies a magical/fantasy aspect to it.Since, you know, in fairy tales, the hero(usually a knight) slays the Dragon and saves the princess.
It would've been fun if you said the knight beats the dragon using a sword of steel, making steel super effective to dragon or something, given they always use swords.

I dont know why, but I always thought of Steel to be a big plank of steel, rather than a sharp sword, which is why is super effective against rocks and ground. In which swords cannot break ground or rock. Obviously, if you put a giant plank of steel up against a dragon, a dragon will more likely burn it too pieces. With fairies, I don't really see magical powers having much ability over a giant plank of steel, crushing them... Slowly...

Normal is, more or less, for the Pokemon that look the most realistic/literally normal.
I mean, nothing is wrong with that, bur Normal Pokemon is just a way for them to make obscure versions of existing animals n' such. Plus, it serves as the bases for Dark-Type, as Dark is just a corrupt version of Normal, in the sense that Dark can be seen as a Ghost/Normal hybrid.

The tree pokemon kinda reminds me of Whispy Woods from Kirby's Dreamland 3

Yea, I edited my post earlier and swapped Cherrymon with Woodmon.

Anyway, as far as that sketch goes, it's still out of the range of Pokemon. I mean, as far as style goes. Since it's just a sketch, it still has yet to appear in it's full Pokemon-esque appearance.
