~British Soul~
1.) Well, of course it's predictable, would you want a Pokemon whose type doesn't match it's design? I don't quite get what you're saying here.... "would you want a Pokemon whose type doesn't match it's design?" In most instances, I wouldn't. 2.) I don't get this either. With all the different Pokemon there are, it's not really possible to say what a Pokemon should be expected to look like. If you mention predictability with the type, then talk about how the design is a surprise.... I'm unsure what you're saying. Not trying to insult, I am just confused. When I was talking about design surprises, I wasn't referring to that pokemon specifically at all. I only mentioned predictability with its type and that it would be easy to guess from its design. LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
"would you want a Pokemon whose type doesn't match it's design?" In most instances, I wouldn't. Okay, yeah, grammar mistake. For some reason I started the sentence as "that has a type that doesn't match" And got "that's" Brain doesn't work sometimes. Anyway, okay, so why in this instance? It seems like the best possible type. When I was talking about design surprises, I wasn't referring to that pokemon specifically at all. I only mentioned predictability with its type and that it would be easy to guess from its design. Oh, alright then. I misunderstood. Thank you for explaining. Oh, I forgot to mention my opinion on it. I had actually wanted a Living Sword Pokemon, especially if this is Europe based. So, I am quite happy with it. Plus Ghost and Steel are some of my favorite types in multi-type Pokemon.

Most of the time there would be small minority of people who would find some way of complaining about the small things. Oh, alright then. I misunderstood. Thank you for explaining. No worries. LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
I'm not complaining about the type at all. It was more of a beggers can't be choosers point. For example a pokemon is revealed and we find out its type, there would be small minority of people who would find some way of complaining about it if they think its type doesn't match its design. No worries. Somtimes brainfarts happen. Oh, okay then. This is all making much more sense then. And, they certainly do. And, so that this post has more to do with the topic. I am still hoping for a Drakeon. (Dragon Eevee) to go with the Fairy type one. They did it with Umbreon and Espeon. And, it finishes the whole "All types that were special before the Physical/Special split are Eeveelution types" thing.
ihop
Ghost/Steel is a pretty incredible typing and it'd be even better if it gets levitate which would give it 4 immunities and only one weakness, but I have a sneaking suspicion its ability is going to be justified. Anyway isn't anyone reminded of this?
Tentacruel
Okay, random topic. 1) Should Pokemon make metadata more visible? 2) Should Pokemon have more sidequests? (Assuming they DIDN'T have an in-game quest system)
Grunt Issun
Nah, Monster Reborn looks a bit too obscure compared to it. As for metadata, you mean like EVs a stuff? Because I think they said at E3 that they're doing that. Also, it just occurred to me. Sky Battles are for Flying Types and things with Levitate, correct? What about Doduo? I agree with you on the moveset, I'll expect to see those moves as well.

I'm sure battling against 5 wild pokemon at once will be fun in the post elite 4 areas. It will be irritating in caves and other places with Sturdy pokes. Grunt Issun
Problem with that, Berserker, is that the way Dodou flies, according to the Anime at least, is by jumping REALLY FREAKING HIGH into the air. ... Oh my God, I really hope that during Sky Battles, Doduo is constantly jumping into the battle screen. That would be so hilarious. Granted, so would seeing it just walk on air. The Warden
Imagine the horror if the sword has Sniper as an ability. Since he will more than likely also have Night Slash, Air Slash (I know it causes flinching, which was stupid), Psycho Cut and potentially Leaf Blade. Admiral_Stalfos19
...that would just be gimmicky. Not to mention that it doesn't have STAB.

Admiral_Stalfos19
Oh right, because gimmick Pokemon DON'T already exist huh? Well don't go at me, I was just saying <_< ... And of course there's gimmick Pokemon, but iirc, not even the good ones can get past RU. Well, yes you can use Smeargle in OU if you're ballsy enough and/or you're a good competitive battler, but Smeargle still fits snuggly in the RU tier. (And I remember that because I checked the Smogon tiers before they got hacked and died down.)

We shouldn't want this sword to have Sniper guys, it needs to have Levitate so we can use it in Air Battles. :<
Admiral_Stalfos19
Yeah, Smeargle was probably a bad example. But it was the first good gimmick-mon that came to mind :/ But yeah; Levitate + good stats + good movepool = epic for Ghost/Steel
