Its specialized claw creates a cavitation bubble of incredible sound and frequency that heats up to 5500 degrees Celcius before it collapses a millisecond later. This creates a powerful but focused shockwave that functions like an aquatic taser: A natural, toxicant-less stun gun, belonging to the original sniper. Furthermore, in the rare chance that the normally-sneaky pistol shrimp loses its shooting arm, the remaining, smaller claw expands into a firing claw, while the empty socket becomes a regular claw. This crustacean is f**king genius. Plus, it doesn't just use this for hunting. The pistol shrimp ranks as one of, if not the, loudest creature in the ocean, and maybe even the planet. Seeing as we're in the age of DLC, I'd rather things like a Battle Frontier, event legendaries, and the like be added through that medium than a full priced upgraded release of the same game. You will be able to wake your Pokémon up from the game side at any time, but the ability to do so from the Global Link deactivates on January 14th However, using the GTS in the games, Free Rating in the Random Matchup and all the other in-game online features will continue. The entire game won't be full of the new Pokemon. I just think if they're going to put new Pokemon in, making them not all obtainable is a dick move. Two versions and version exclusives promote trading and the whole "Gotta catch 'em all!" aspect, though I don't think they're still using that catchphrase anymore. Nowadays it's not as big of a problem. It's just been a little pet peeve of mine. I get why they do it, but I'm allowed to be bugged by it. Same with trade-only evolutions. The biggest issue I had was non-WiFi events (although the ones in the GAME stores were alright compared to the Mew event in Toys R Us which I found out the day after it happened...) Trade only evolutions did annoy me a little, but that's why I've ended up with so many consoles (DSLite, DSi, 3Dsx2, GBCx2, SP) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't see why you seem to think that to me it's a massive deal. I never said that it ruined the games or something, just that it bugged me a bit. I'm sure there's parts of games you love that annoy you. As for it being about trading, that depends on the person. Personallly I haven't traded since a long time ago. And I'm not saying taking out version exclusives, but if they make a lot of new Pokemon, I just hope that at least most of THOSE Pokemon are avaliable to both versions. It would be easy to make the older Pokemon the exclusives, as well as a couple new ones. My point was simply I hope that most of the new Pokemon are available. Trading is a core part of it, and I think that when you can't have certain Pokemon, it makes you want them even more. Having access to everything is boring. Having a lot of the new Pokemon being exclusive IS bad, and I felt like B/W did a very good job on that.
