A lot of land and a smaller amount of cities, it looks like.

The town/city surrounded by a forest and the garden thing with the fountain does intrigue me, though.

Also, snow section yay.

Also, just noticed this, but since the new bird is a Robin called FLETCHling, and Fletching is making arrows, is the final evolution going to be something like Robin Hood?

There's a... really peculiar thing to the direct southwest of the big city. What on earth could that be?

There's also a place which looks like a cave opening in the southwest. Honestly there's so much cool stuff that it already looks like a good generation.

I do seriously hope that one day we get the return of Team Rocket, though. Maybe it's just the nostalgia talking, but I've always thought them to be the coolest team, and Giovanni to be the greatest antagonist in terms of the vibe he gave off.

 

Plus, freaking Pokemon Mafia, man.

And I'm liking the look of the new region. Customizing your clothes/appearance and being able to sit are pretty nifty additions.

I think the hometown is right at the top.

That would be rather Dragon Quest VI-esque.

I think the stone gathering is a graveyard, personally. 

The town to the slight southeast of Miare could also be the hometown, for that matter. It has that look.

It looks like a giant circus tent. I would be all up for that, but it is rather unorthodox.

If anything, I'd guess the equivalent of "Battle X". (Tower, frontier, etc.)

It doesn't look like a circus tent to me.

Although now that I take a closer look, I also think that the castle to the south of the snowy region (in the mountains) is the pokemon league.

I hope they make useless moves like Cut and Strength more viable. I don't like carrying 4-5 standard pokemon with 1-2 slave utility pokemon.

They are decent physical moves when you get them, though.

I honestly hope they just take everything but Surf off from being an HM, or make them more useful than they were in Gen 5. I practically never really needed Cut or Strength, and well, that made it a bit boring imo. I still used them, but it was boring.

 

That's all regarding HMs I really care for right now, at least.

And I just realized that Zigzagoon is apparently in this. If it's early enough, of course I'll be using a Pickup one to grab some items until I get enough Pokemon.

Then be cool, and make a team where each member can carry at least 1 utility move.

Blastoise with Surf
Dragonite with Strength
Beartic with Dive
etc

I hope they make HMs forgettable tbh, because now we have unlimited TMs it's kinda irrelevant. Then again the reason you can't forget HMs is because you could get trapped so idk.
