Flame Dragon
I just mean the amount of exp a Pokemon gets used to be a steady level. How else could I spend Lv 20-40 in Diglett's Cave in Leaf Green, but if the same cave existed in BW2 it would take a LOT longer or I would give up with the poor EXP results. Wonder if it's always been semi like that and I just never noticed before, but training seems infinitely easier in BW than BW2. I remember training for the first gym in BW2 and getting so fustrated with the poor results, but previously I could quite happily get Lv 20+ before the first gym without getting fustrated, even the large amounts of EXP given by Audino dwindled into disappointed results. Thank God for Lucky Egg. I would love the gym leader rematch feature from Platinium and HGSS reinstated again, it was so useful to be able to train against a certain type each time. (I never bothered to go through the effort for Blue's number) So this stuff? http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Experience The change was likely what your were fighting giving lower EXP and your pokemon needing more EXP to level up. Also as you get higher and higher in levels, the amount you gain by beating low leveled pokemon drops quickly. Gen 5 did reshape how pokemon level but nothing was changed between BW and BW2. bury the year
Apparently the person who "leaked" the full list of Pokémon outright admitted they were fake. Which I guess isn't unexpected, but still. I liked a lot of those designs.

Cin
I suppose that is true, it just seems like it I suppose. That and the most likely Pokemon you will have in BW2 for gym 1 is starter and probably Riolu are in the Medium Slow EXP group whereas BW is your starter + the elemental Monkey you get in Dreamyard which is Medium Fast grouping (although Patrat, Lillipup are all Medium Slow). Maybe it's just that. that makes it feels slow for me. CoroCoro doesn't seem to have much info on XY from what Serebii has so far.

Flame Dragon
I honestly don't get the appeal of preevos. They look cute but the final forms still look better imo and they don't do anything to make the pokemon better.

Flame Dragon
For me, they spell out better chances for 3rd stage evolutions for that particular line, which is what I can definitely get behind. Thing is it really shouldn't though. We have 18 baby pokemon. Of those only 1 got an evolution at the same time it got a preevolution. For the remaining ones 5 already had evolutions before getting a preevolution. 7 don't have evolutions. 1 is a branching family. The reaming 4 all got evolutions after already having a preevolution. Also, while looking at the baby pokemon it hit me that I'd really like to see a new Hitmon.

Northern Sage
That seems pretty hard to fake, honestly. If it's true, there is at least something good to come out of it: They will work with evolutions of previous generations of Pokémon. Of course, Sylveon already established this. But right, I can't think of anything besides what was already said. And even if it's pointless, I still want at least a baby Kangaskhan so it doesn't have a baby as soon as it's hatched. =o

I'm just in it for the mindless violence between small animals.
Blake
There's also the fact that babies give an expanded movepool, and if something doesn't need an evo because it has the stats/typing/whatever to back, prevo is the way to go.

And even if it's pointless, I still want at least a baby Kangaskhan so it doesn't have a baby as soon as it's hatched. =o That is one baby pokemon I could actually get behind. Cause the pokelogic where a Kangaskhan is born with a baby hurts. True, but that's because you are a competitive player. I'm just in it for the mindless violence between small animals. That is a fair point. And having the babies makes the mindless violence even worse since who wants to see babies beat up on each other. There's also the fact that babies give an expanded movepool, and if something doesn't need an evo because it has the stats/typing/whatever to back, prevo is the way to go. I've seen that argument before, but couldn't the pokemon just have the extra moves added into its egg moves list? Sure its odd that they go from getting them to not getting them, but logic need not apply in pokemon. I'd also argue many pokemon do need an evo. And on that note, I think part of the reason this bugs me is because Hera is one of my favorite pokemon from back when I really played competitively so him getting a preevo over an actual evos just makes me sad. Master of Sabers
I have to agree with the people who would prefer evos to prevos... I mean, sure, it's a new pokemon and all, but for viable comp? It's really not gonna make that much of a difference, unless they gain a huge movepool. And then, they'll miss out on special moves from past gens. Which makes me sad. I'd prefer an evolution to a pokemon rather than a prevolution... That being said, I do comp. pokemon. I'm biased. I'd prefer for bad pokemon (Farfetch'ed ---> Absbir'd?) to get an evolution. Arbok, Persian, etc etc. All those crappy useless pokemon should have a place... But then again, I love variety, and the more balanced everything is, the less variety there usually is. In addition to that, the powercreep will eventually make good pokemon bad. Unfortunately... No but when there's a drought of information, people start accepting any little thing as fact without thinking twice and I don't want another Mr. XY situation. Spellcaster2000
Please let dunsparce evolve. Also, Smogon says that Scyther and Pinsir are in the same tier. Scyther gets an evolution, while what seems to be his counterpart doesn't. Come on, let Pinsir evolve to be Steel like Scizor did but with Drill horns! Heracross, baby and Scyther babies. 'nuff said. And please, for the love of Arceus, don't let Fennekin become... FENNEKICK!
Cin
I did always wonder why Pinsir never got an evolution when commonly it was in the opposite version (same location) to Scyther. Do wonder how they'd go with it from Stag Beetle.
