Kazooie
As many of you anxiously await the release of Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, there has been little news about the contents of the Gen VI Pokedex. Until now… Above is the supposed roster for Gen VI, as revealed by Mr. XY. Everything seems legit here, and seems to have been verified by a very knowledgeable source (That I know personally). Hit the jump for further descriptions on those that are known. 650. Chespin (Grass) We’ve seen Chespin. 651. Whirlihog (Grass) {Evolved form of Chespin} His look sharpens up, receives a little whirligig/propeller on his hood. 652. Agro
If the Pinser and Heracross pre-evos are real, then this is legit. So I guess we wait till the 15th...? Also, I do like the typing listed for Yveltal and Xerneas. Also, it lists Sylveon as Normal. Oh, and Houndoomed. Lol
Kazooie
I personally love pretty much everything on the list, especially the Tropius evolution. My only thing is that leaked English names before Japanese names. >>
Blake
I only have 2 real problems: 1. No legendary trio 2. Lack of Normal/Flying These two could actually go together well, considering that it would mean they decided to just break tradition overall. Also, note that the Bond System =/= Friendship. And some poekmon, like the Ghost Vulture, Irish Dragon, Bug Dragon, Pinsir/Hera pre-/evos, the Ice Moth, etc. make me <3 I really hope that's real... Except the Starmie evo. Nicο
I read the descriptions of the starter's pre/evolution's, but I don't want to read any more descriptions until I see them. Those evolution's that you guys just said sound awesome though. EDIT: I really hope that's real... Except the Starmie evo. You get Starmie from stone. ._. And that does seems like a bad idea. Blake
EDIT: You get Starmie from stone. ._. And that does seems like a bad idea. Yes, I know, but I'm more concerned by the fact that Starmie is one of only 2 Pokemon to be OU since the very start of the series, so an evo will either be shit or why. Because I don't give a shit about competitive pokemon 8D Also, this is an even gen, so this many evo's and pre-evo's with not that many new pokemon in total should be expected. Skarmory preevo caught my eye.

I don't play competitive (or pay that much attention to it) but even I know that, which is why I said it sounds like a bad idea. I just saw "evolved form of Combee", yeah, I hope for male ver. Haven't looked at them all but I'm gonna be done. Garbarge? Sounds worse than Trubbish/Gardobor.

Flame Dragon
Well finally we are getting a few prevos and evos. Looks cool. I hope it is real. Its been the tradition that even number gens introduce new family members to the existing lines, so this isn't a shock really. I just realized that I like next-gen speculation more than the actual gen. TO MY ROCK HOUSE! While I don't enjoy the speculation, I do get a lot more drawn in leading up to the games coming out and once they do my interest is never held for long. Fusion X. Denver
Well Xerneas and Yveltal have cool typings. But now I can't use Chespin in Y ;___; Some evolutions sound awesome like Pinsir's and Houndoom's, can't wait to see what they look like.

Fusion X. Denver
Why, exactly?
Basically, I've had a tradition where for the most part, I make the 2nd game out of a generational pair my "main" game, and that was the game where I would use the grass starter, because I always pick the grass starter. But if I do Chespin in Y, I'll have 2 Flying types on my team...and that ain't balanced. Or I could make a 7 member team, but I dunno.
Oh and Sylveon's normal...great. What's worse, it seems it's the only new Eeveelution. So now I must wait at least another 2 generations for a flying Eevee... OR Maybe they're doing a new tradition where they do one new eeveelution per generation?
Demon From The Void
Somebody explain the bond system to me?
Blake
Somebody explain the bond system to me? I don't believe it's been revealed as more than a name yet. To quote what we DO know/what's rumored: "A new set of rumored details has been posted for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS exclusive titles, “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y.” According to a report from The Gamers Hub on March 5, the two role-playing games will introduce a new item called the bond-eye. The sunglasses will let players analyze the nature and capture rate of a wild Pokemon creature. The item can also be used to communicate with other players online, setting up trades and battles. You can check out some screens from both video games in the slideshow at the top of this article." And other stuff: In addition to existing Pokemon, there will be a large number of completely new Pokemon. The additions will bring the total number of Pokemon in the franchise from the current 649 to over 700. Because of Pokemon X and Y, the Pokemon anime, movies, card game, and merchandise will “break into a new dimension.” People around the world will be able to simultaneously experience “Real Play.” (I’m assuming this is referring to the game’s global October release.) The game will utilize the 3DS to its maximum abilities to leverage its overwhelmingly beautiful presentation. The game uses an innovative communication system that makes it feel as if you are playing with other players around the world. The bonds between players and Pokemon will deepen, and Pokemon will become stronger with the new battle structure. Everyone will enjoy the game’s scenario and music.
