Fusion X. Denver
I thought everyone liked Snivy? Gen 5 took a while to warm up to, but I eventually did. Not a big fan of Tepig though, mainly because it was another fuxing Fire-Fighting. That really turned me off.

Flame Dragon
TYPHLOSION TOTODILE AND CHIKORITA HOW DARE YOU When it comes to starters, Gen V was the worst imo. The only starter I liked was Tepig and then it became f***ing Emboar :\
One of those names it not like the other. And yea, I'd say Meganium is my least favorite starter. Typholsion is cool but my least favorite of the fire starters. Feraligatr is ok, but the sprites have never looked that good imo. I love Samurott and Serperior designs. I like Emboar just a bit more then Ty tbqh.
I thought everyone liked Snivy? Feraligatr has the most badass look of the water starters save maybe Blastoise. Personally I disliked all the Unova starters and I would prefer Typhlosion over Emboar in terms of looks anyway. Meganium is by far the most useless grass starter and just looks like a sauropod on acid...

~British Soul~
It's been confirmed that the starters are pure Grass, Fire and Water-types respectively (Not that it is really news anyways.). Now to wait to see what their evolutions will be like.

Fusion X. Denver
I just realized Bulbasaur is the only starter Pokemon with 2 types from the get-go. That's kinda crazy actually.
EliminateHRN
These games will only be for the 3DS, correct? As if I needed another reason to buy a 3DS. Any idea when these are coming out in America? Maybe it's just me, but for some reason, it seems a bit early for a new generation; maybe it's because I never really got into B/W and haven't played B/W2 yet. Anyway, from what I've heard and seen of these games so far, they look amazing. I think I'm gonna get the one with the bird (X, or am I getting them mixed up?) just because the bird looks badass. As for the starters, I'll have to see what the final evolutions look like and what their types are, but it's a tie between the grass one and the fire one right now. Although, I swear to god, if the fire starter turns out to be Fire/ Fighting, I will shank a b****. I'm excited for these games though, they look amazing. Hopefully, I can get a 3DS before they are released here.

And Y is the version with the bird. I'm sure Fennekin will turn into something different. Nintendo's good with listening to feedback and I'm sure the fanbase made it clear they were not happy with Emboar being Fire/Fighting. I really don't think they would make a fourth straight (IIRC) Fire/Fighting, but you never know. I'll just wait and see.
EmpoleMew
By the time X and Y are released, it will have been 3 years since the start of Gen 5 in Japan, the same amount of time between Gen 4 and Gen 5.
Cin
I didn't say I was refering to anything other than the base forms, I should have been more specific. Makes me wonder why they still leave Bulbasaur the only dual type starter. Meganium was pretty useless.

Toffee.
With Fennekin being pure Fire, it might just live up my theory of it being similar to Vulpix, with a concept-based move pool. Î’yakuya
I'm wondering what new kinds of Pokemon they came up this time. Some kinds including Pokemon like Lucario and Zoroark, as well as some new Legendary Trios. But most of the new designs will look closely like Fakemon. And there is no doubt I will see a Pokemon resembling either a chair or a rug.
