Of course I can. Look, I just did.

Oh excuse me, anyone with a brain can't do that. <3

Yeah, I'm so sad my Rotom-S can't learn Wing Attack or Gust when it has Air Slash.

Poor Rotom-W, having to use Hydro Pump as a STAB move when it's an acceptable alternative to Surf.

Oooooh no, how DARE Rotom-C and Rotom-H use a Hit-and-Run attack when that's their best roles!

The only one you can make an argument for is Rotom-F, and that's because Hail was banned from NU. Even then, Blizzard isn't an absolutely awful attack, and it can still be used in both NU and RU.

Rotom may HAVE the type and the best attack, but in reality, it's still a Ghost and Electric that was given some types. It's not built to be any of them. Except Water/Electric. It's built for that.

I want one that was designed, created, and produced as a type. Not one that was given it as an afterthought.

Rotom doesn't count.

It works just as well as any Pokemon of that type will work. Given what it is, and what it had to work with. Saying it doesn't count is just stupid, since it has all the coverage any pokemon of that type will have. It WAS designed to be that type. It was designed to be all those types. It was made to be flexable.

It totally counts.

Saying it doesn't count is perfectly fine.

For one, I should point out that I don't care at all about competitive pokemon. That doesn't matter at all.

Freezer Rotom isn't a TRUE Electric/Ice type by my standards, which is being an original Electric/Ice-type- something Rotom is not. It's Electric/Ghost.

If they hadn't been nice enough to give it the typing for competitive pokemon in Gen V, it would STILL be Electric and Ghost.

It doesn't count.

In the full image, of the new type theory~
X's are rather half-assed.
Y's, MAYBE, seem plausible.
But even then, its such a stretch.
Plus, Aerodactly, and a few other existing Pokemon, would end up as Sound despite now being musical Pokemon, based on X's theories.

If they're going to do new types, I agree, now's the time.
And I'm sure it'd work out fine if they did. Yes it'd drastically change everything and all, but that's a good thing for a series like Pokemon to be able to make each game innovative and refreshing in their own rights.

Well it's safe to keep that so we don't start speculating about that too and the game does go with the standard name of game being the characters 'name'. Since with 24 pages from less than 10 mins of actual information.
I'm still searching for a cheap 3Ds.

Don't know how I feel about the starters being pure types again though.

If I understood it correctly, the release refers only to their base forms. With only one exception (Bulbasaur), first stage starters have always been pure types. Now, if they mean all evolutions as well, I'd be sad.

Every gen has had at least one starter end up with two types, so I see no reason for that to stop.

Yes, your right. I often forget them since those are my least favorite starters. But still, an 80% rate still makes me believe that we should see multiple types.

When it comes to starters, Gen V was the worst imo. The only starter I liked was Tepig and then it became f***ing Emboar :\
