Like I said, I'm personally only looking at Pokemon designs, mainly just non-evolving ones, just to see what I would like to use the most for a fun, basic run of the game. Obviously, I need to keep in mind when they are in the game (I don't what another Pokemon white where 1/2 of my Pokemon are around the 6th/7th gym), but I'm trying not to spoil myself on anything BUT the Pokemon.

If BW was anything to go by, the general rule in those games were the later the pokemon was in the dex, the later in the game it'd be located, I hope it isn't like that this time. The other thing I hope doesn't happen is pokemon evolving so late, like Pawniard, Larvesta, Deino, etc.

Regarding MegaCharizard X being a Dragon-type...

Iris: I would have thought Dragon Rush would do more damage since Charizard is a Dragon-type.

Iris was 1 generation too soon on that statement.. heh.

Almost 2 decades had passed since Charizard was first appeared.

In those times, it and the fans had always desired the coveted Dragon-typing to no avail. Even the Mega Charizard that was first revealed was still sporting its original typing of Fire/Flying, even if it now has a more draconic look.

But on this moment, everyone's desire have been fulfilled!

Rejoice fans, for Charizard has ascended into Dragonhood! It doesn't even fear fairies with its Fire typing.

...I'm crying tears of joy right now.

Mega Charizard X is a spoiler I'm okay with looking at, so...  *views picture*

It's BlackWarCharizard, beautiful.

Now to just find out what the starter's final evos look like, and I'll be set to not look at anything else until I get the game myself.

If I see anyone bitch about spoilers one more time, I ain't gonna be happy. Seriously, people. This thread has had leaks for a long time now, with confirmed information coming out of them, and people aren't gonna stop posting. If you suddenly don't want to see them, just leave and be quiet about it.

As for leaks, I'd rather not spoil the plot, but I'm fine with knowing the locations and dex early (if the three are mutually exclusive, that is). Heck, my character ICly will know the last two, so why shouldn't I?

And glorious new Mega Evolution is glorious.

EDIT: Kosthedin's Instagram has been cease and desist'd, so no more out of him.

EDIT 2:
newpoke1.jpg
Anyone else think that is rather unfair to Pokémon Y? First we do this with Mega Mewtwo by making the initially revealed form turn out to be Y, while the Mega Mewtwo X is revealed, and despite looking more like regular Mewtwo and MMY does, it got an additional type. Conversely, while MCX looks less like Charizard than MCY does, it also gets a different type, while MCY does as well. I'm sure this means that we've only seen Mega Venusaur Y and Mega Blastoise Y, and I wouldn't be surprised if even Mega Blaziken is just the Y version, mostly because he has a similar color scheme to Yyveltal. I can't see this being the case with every Mega Evolution, but certainly with Mega Evolutions of starters and legendaries. I can't see a situation where we've only been seeing Mega Ampharos X or Y, and we're waiting for the counterpart to be revealed.

I dare say the MegaBlaziken we've seen is the X version, most likely. His design seems to suggest it; but oh my glob those two new evos look so smeggining stupid, like, joke pokemon level. What the hell is that Spritzee evo even supposed to be? Cause if it's supposed to be a model, then I wonder where in France they need to have models show off the drag queen line.

If Mega Forms are going to be different for each game

I just

I

It's too much.

It's all so gloriously overwhelming.

I've always made one game my "main" game, but I think for this gen, I'm going to give equal treatment for these versions.

I know for a fact now I'm getting both.

On a side note, all my friends think Mega Charizard X looks stupid, but I think it looks cool...

Fire/Dragon is what sells it though.

The Evo of the bird Fairy is alright, because it seems like  can-can dancer in part, which isn't terrible.

The new Mega Charizard is irritating because it's so damn cool looking, and sounds amazing on paper. Fire/Dragon Stab seems awesome, especially with the Attack boost, and with a seeming higher  base power, and it's already got great way to pump it's attack stat makes it sounds terrifying as a sweeper on paper.

In truth the idea of multiple Mega's for the remaining starters doesn't sound bad to me, because well the Venasaur one is lacking.

But it irritates me, because well I wanted to get Y...

...Why do I suddenly get the feeling the other Megas, are also version exclusives, and we have yet to see their other forms?
I mean, for all we know Mega Absol is actuall Mega Absol X, and Mega Lucario is actually Mega Lucario Y.

I think you're right.

I remember coming across a meme of people tracing X's and Y's in the designs, which kind of came across as facetious.

But I think they were on to something.

Plus, this would give people more of an incentive to buy both games.

Like me, I was going to buy Y and then get X later on, but now I'm just going to get both.

I'm almost positive I'll be playing both in a row.
