Zazubat
The desert in B/W felt like southwestern United States, that's hardly a definitive point.
there was a desert? I don't even remember.
.Rai
I agree with Rinne. Basing the region entirely off Paris sounds horrendous. It's possible that it's based off Île-de-France. I clearly see Versailles in the fourth screenshot.

Ren✧
No, it would need to be added to a type we already have. In the conversations I've had with my friends we agree that fighting would be the best choice.
Yes! Finally another dragon killer. God, I hate those giant lizards. Fighting would definitely be the best choice.

Blake
I dont really see the issue. Dragon is resisted by the best defensive typing. It tends to die to the best offensive typing, sans, off the top of my head, only 4 of them. The idea of editing types seems even worse an idea that adding new types, given it changes interactions that have gone on for 5 generations without it being a "new discovery" like a new type would be. Also, I know you were being thematic, but Fighting was an awful type to choose, really.

And like I said Dragons always have a Fire/Fighting/Ground move so Steel isn't always the best counter anyway. And I agree that it has problems, but any major change is going to have huge problems.
It's also only Super Effective against itself. It's not as good as people say it is, it's the fact that they keep giving Dragons massive attack stats, not the typing itself. It's not really that hard to kill a dragon, especially since Ice is an easy coverage Type to get and Ice is great against so many things. Most of them also have weaknesses to Rocks / Fighting too. And pretty much all have a x4 weakness.
