CMRenji
Yeah, that's a shame. But now we can all worship Gengar. Sludge Bomb takin' out those Fairies, and his Shadow Ball goes nearly unwalled.
Flame Dragon
Love to fossils. Mewtwo's Second Mega form isn't a shocking piece of news. People thought this was coming from a while back. I actually like the Frog's second form best. I remember reading he will be a Ninja or something. Looks like that is happening. Steel's changes are certainly going to make a few pokemon worse. Megachomp is unneeded, but cool. Fairy having resistances other than Dragon immunity is news. Eury
Steel's nerf makes me kinda sad. But eh. Also kinda want the other pseudos to get Mega Evos now.
Jord200
Lucario, Empoleon, Scizzor, Steelix, Skarmory, and Metagross are crying. Oh, dang. Metagross is Psychic/Steel..... That's going to suck.....
CMRenji
It's like how Psychics were nerfed after Gen I. Metagross now has a whopping 4 weaknesses, but I'm thinking he'll probably stay OU due to his stats.
Aerion Brightflame
Froakie has gone from being the outcast in part to having arguably the coolest looking second stage now. Chespin's is just really really weird... And Fenniken's is as cool as ever. X's version of Mewtwo is... I sort of prefer it to the other one, because the other one is a bottle opener. But I'm still getting Y. A Steel nerf is annoying but not the end of of things.
bury the year
Would be nice if this was true.Um, it is true. Look at the chart. The Steel (はがね) column no longer has a symbol for the Ghost (ゴースト) or Dark (あく) rows, meaning the attacks are at normal effectiveness.

Yeah, and I said that when I clearly quoted it being unconfirmed, when Serebii said it didn't have pictures. I don't care enough to try and memorize the Japanese stuff because I don't really know the language to begin with, so it wouldn't really matter if all I knew were the Pokemon types. I knew it was confirmed about an hour ago at least.
CMRenji
Nope. He's falling to UU. Calling it right now. I dunno, he's still fairly tanky and powerful. But his poor speed and only good Special Defense could be his downfall.
Nicο
Oh wait. They have that image now and it still says unconfirmed. That's kind of dumb. Okay yeah, I refreshed, and knew by now, and whatever else. It's just I don't really pay attention when all there is is a language I don't understand. I'm just not really going to try and memorize that stuff if I don't know I'm ever going to actually learn the language...
Toffee.
Felt like posting Mega GarchompCuz', you know, it looks totally badass.Anyway, the two fossilized Pokemon of this era have a ridiculous amount of potential to them.Megatron The T-Rex has a biting version of Iron Fist; Coolness. The Brachio has the ability to turn Normal-Types into Ice, and power them up; Ice-Type Hyper Beam is sexy. Also, Heres a thought...Since Fairy now resists Fighting, Dark, and Bug, but at the same tine is weak to Poison and Steel, then Mawile ended up getting a great deal in this.By default it's Steel, so that means is comes with a resistance to Steel and is immune to Poison; Covering Fairy's weaknesses. But because it's now part Fairy, this means it has a Type to use against Fighting, which is a weakness of Steel. So overall, Mawile's Fairy/Steel ended up as a rather amusing type. Eury
Well, this does bring up a good point. Chespin's middle evo doesn't look very good but then this was a thing so maybe Chespin's final will be cool. Can't wait to see what they do with Fennekin. also

But it could still grow on me, and I sure hope it's final will be cool. Anyone got a non-tumblr image so I can see what that is? School blocks it. Fusion X. Denver
I actually like that a lot. I'm banking on their final forms being really great if they just dive into those design ideas.
Thomas★Zero
As far as I seen for the Starter evolutions it looks like their going with the theme of Sumo (Chespin Evo) Samurai (Fennekin) Ninja (Froakie) where it seems like their going to make Chespin the Grass fighting and Froakie the Water Dark which it would be interesting. Cin
Garchomp's arm position is so awkward, which I suppose it's shares with it's non-mega form. Chespin's evolved form looks terrible. I mean...I don't get it. Love Froakie's evolution reminds me a little of Snivy/Servine in the positioning. Fennekin's I'm just not sure of. Seems like I won't be leaving Water till last to pick. Unless Chespin's finale form looks epic. I like Mega Mewtwo X's design far more than Y's. It seems more true to Mewtwo even though I'm not keen on it's new typing. I was never more of a Mewtwo fan than after Mega Mewtwo was announced, the wrong reason huh? The Ice Fossil, automatically made me think of Titan Aisha in DragonFable, although the attack element change targeted you not itself. The Other Dinosaur, reminds me of something I just don't know what. I do like the design though. The cats, part of wonders why the genders are the opposite way round to what I would have thought. I never tend to use Steel types so it's nerf doesn't really affect me (only ever really used Metagross, Scizor and Magnezone and not in playthrough since Platinium.)
