When a pokemon uses Fly, the player character enters a pokeball. It's possible, and it makes sense. That's the reason very small pokes can carry you, and you can only set a destination and then you cannot do a thing while flying.

Look, guys, the only time flying on a Pokemon only makes perfect sense when it's used overworld~
I mean, Gen 1 you basically turn into a bird and fly away:

Then in later ones, like Gen 3, your Pokemon turns into a bird and grows about 2-3 times it's own size before letting you jump on it's back:

Let us not forget that Zigzagoon can use Whirlpool. You travel across whirlpools in a straight line. Zigzagoon can only move diagonally.

I do like that remix, sounds so less creepy, still has the same headache inducing effect unfortunately.

 

Who else hopes the VS Seeker comes back? Since I'm sick of having to transfer Pokemon to another game to use Nimbasa Court and would love the freedom of DPPt where I could just go to the Resort and fight those trainers over and over (Helped my Mothim keeps it's Spl up).

Yeah, I would like the VS Seeker to return. It was great for grinding if you were underlevelled.

I just don't want trainers you have to battle everytime you walk past them back, they were annoying (Route 4/Lostlorn Forest etc). Especially since I had the tendency to cycle round rather than fly since I already have a HM slave and I'm not a massive fan of Flying types that tend to be mainly /Normal. I would like if we had somewhere easy to farm Heart Scales although with unbreakable TMs (since I doubt they'll take that away from us) they become a little redundant.

It's only the Breeders, iirc, so you just have to avoid them.

Which is not very easy to do. You try your best, and then when you mess up after not encountering them for a while, it's even more annoying, imo.

Difficult when the one on Route 4 is unavoidable (as the path is...just beyond them), same with the Lostlorn one I believe. Then again I grinded against that one, about 1,300 EXP even at about Lv 40.

Both of those are avoidable though. Tricky, but the Route 4 one is actually very easy, once you get used to it.

Maybe they plan to have Jessie and James use some of their old Pokemon again? Also, I agree with what you said in the status. The fact there's Zangoose, but no Seviper is a bit odd. Espeically since there is both Mawile and Sableye.

I agree, I'd have thought that Seviper would be there given that Zangoose was there.

At least all the pre-gen 6 starters are there as we expected.
