I wonder how the process works. I mean we've had move transformation (Keldeo mixed with Deoxys method, Meloetta), held item transformations (Giratina, Shaymin), locational/item interaction (Deoxys, Rotom), time of day (Cherrim), Seasonal (Sawbuck, Deerling), Dream Radar (Thundurus, etc), DNA Splicer (Kyurem), Weather/Location (Castform, Burmy (exclude Wormadam as it has already done it's form change as Burmy))

Am I the only one who thinks it's a little stupid? xD

I mean the mega evolution is... Well it's... I don't really know what to say to it. I mean I like the way they look, but... The thought of it is just so dumb to me :/

I dunno, maybe I'll like it when it comes out, but for now I think it's a bit lame.

Not sure how I feel about Mega Pokemon. They do look stupidly pimp don't get me wrong, but I don't know........

Either way, what I most want to know now are, are do we get them and who gets them. Blaziken getting it makes me think a good number of starters will get a mega form since I can't see them only giving it to him. However I can't see every pokemon getting one.........for obvious reasons.

So it seems like a hold item lets you upgrade. Now I want to know if these should be counted as evolutions or not......

I think those are new forms with different stats, like Giratina has. I don't think they are actually evolutions, just because they have never gone over stage 2 and if they did, they would have given it more focus, instead of just showing MegaBlaziken and MegaAmpharos among some other new evolutions.

They kind of look ugly, but Ampharos looks fabulous. I wonder if he could fight Majin Buu.

I hope for MegaKangaskhan, MegaPersian, MegaSkarmory, MegaShuckle, MegaYanma (oh, wait). A MegaFlareon would be something.

Just a little thing about what Adaptability for Lucario means:

Just did a cacluation. Max attack lucario with adaptability and choice band with max with nature vs. max defense groudon with max hp max def and bold nature.
It does 53.96%-63.86% guaranteed 2HKO

Yeah... that's quite impressive in what it's done, if Adaptability goes onto Lucario that is.

I don't understand how they're providing alt formes of Pokemon that are that old:

Lucario (7) DPPt 2006

Mawile, Blaziken and Absol (11) RSE 2002

Ampharos (14) GSC 1999

Mewtwo (18) RBYG 1995

It gets a little silly.

Temp with a hold item? I can see these never making competitive.
