I guess you shall see, Simdoggy. I will be glad to leave. There is no God... not in a wretched and vile place such as this. There only exists a Devil, too chilled into excitement, too present in our everyday lives.

 

And you are incorrect, my friend. For this event has shown me that what happened 400 years ago can still happen again today. We might as well call it a witch hunt, people blindly lynching those because "they stared the bandwagon" or some related tomfoolery. But it was not ME who has lynched, it was not ME who has killed, it was US, and I, and you all the same, for jumping onto said bandwagon and supporting his death. For I have already admitted I erred, and erred greatly in doing such a vile act, but now I look to God, and ask him for my final hour to be ascending to his arms, and so he has answered my request.

 

But can you say the same for yourselves? Not yet - when all is done, and all are dead, then perhaps some light shall shine upon your misguided souls, much as it did mine, and either toss you to a place where you may be bettered, or prove itself a pretense so vile, that its very touch drags you down into a pit of despair. Or perhaps the Devil will know you will accept him so readily, and you have turned away from His help so much, that he needn't lie to you, to get you into your true home.

Sorry, I said the wrong word, not proof but a logical explanation as to why you believe them to be vampires, that is what you have not provided. God telling you so does not cut it in my opinion, especially since you've taken that path before and it got an innocent man lynched. Besides, if god had ever existed inside this place, he's been gone from it since before the start of this whole affair, as surely he wouldn't have let it get this far without intervening in the process somehow.

Bah! Had you been a pious soul, you would know not to apply morals to the Lord! His works are beyond our mortal scope, we know not why he does and why he doesn't, all we know is to follow, this should be our devotion. He gave us morals, he gave us the world, so why must he be bound to them? Yet he upholds us to these morals which he created, for this is also our duty...

 

You misinterpret my words, it was not God, t'was the Devil who whispered into my ear, and told me, no, told us to lynch the librarian, for purposes unknown... You still claim as if it was I who got the innocent man lynched, when it was all of us, together, who came to such a foolish conclusion.

Sometimes, you must look not for a logical answer, but look back, and look at people illogically... and cast away the Devil and its nourishment!!!
