DL
oh gods oh gods IDK why, but I'm super nervous about posting this one Maybe because I went for a darker look than I usually go for, and experimented brushing on TOP of the render ^,^''
Tormented
First things first is that you've brushed way too much, meaning that the render is barely visible, plus the contrast of colours isn't helping the situation either. Most of your pieces have been contrasted way too much, I think you need to stop thinking that a piece has to be colour heavy. HOWEVER from what I can see in the background your smudging skills have improved vastly, I reckon you should start thinking about working with your renders and getting them to flow more, for example if you got rid of the overall darkness of the piece and replaced it with a more purple vibe then I reckon It would be great too. Shy ft. Serenade?
....H-how did you do that? O.o Some sort of purple gradient with low opacity? Cuz that looks awesome xD Actually, one of the uh...beta versions (as in, when it was in the finishing stages) was brighter Not as good as the one you just did, but it's at least more visible? ^^'' (you can see it's clearly not finished tho xD) Oh, and thank you ^.^ I will try to hone my smudging, and keep on working on blending the render well xD
Tormented
It was a bunch of G-Maps and Photo-Filters, It was done in like 5 minutes, so it stills looks a little iffy. The one you posted is much better than the original, it's much more visible and pleasing to the eye.
DL
Ooh, really? =0 Alright, I'll keep workin on the relationship between good and simple as well xD However, it'd probly need a few g-maps tho right, for finishing touches? =o
Tormented
Depends on the style your going for, when it's simplistic one or two g-maps and filters will be more than enough to sustain a nice flowing piece, however if your going for an ott piece more than 5 g-maps and filters could be used. Simping For Hina
Very nicely blended. You definitely have improved on that. Even with it being dark, you should have some sort of lighting. It is the most important part of a tag, imo.
