If this is going to be a valid thing I figured I'd structure this more efficiently.

I forgot to add that anyone can use whatever one they want.

These aren't as good quality as the others, apparently when I'm tired my GFX designing skills increase significantly, anyway enjoy.

The subtlety of the neon colours in contrast to the rest of the piece using a lightened layer is absolutely flawless.
More of this.

The darken-only works remarkably well in this piece, most artists cannot correctly use it. That is not the case here, and it is shown in the execution as well as the concept, well done.

The colouring and contrast works, not much else to it, which is good because I've seen perfectly fine icons ruined through the unneeded addition of useless fx.

Not a great piece, but the neon + lighten only layer work here as well.

I have no interest in the rest.
I thoroughly believe your talent lies in color manipulation, through filtering and layers. Work on perfecting it, because if anyone here can, it's definitely you.

Best one IMO. Not too knowledgeable when it comes to icons so I may just be talking crap here. From what I can see subtle effects and coloring work best when making icons. Big flashy stuff doesn't tend to work out too well.

Might jump into this sooner or later.

BECAUSE YOU ARE PUSHY.

First Batch

1: Really nice. Limited tones and heavily contrasting luminosity works well hire. Nicely sharpened.
2: It's in the same vein as the first one, but the first was better executed.
3: Hnng. I'm not a fan myself of the darken style, but it's technically very good.
4 & 5: ewwww :<
6: Colours get weirdly contrasted, but it's nice and simple. That works tremendously in its favour.

Second Batch

1: Gorgeous stuff. I see this style occasionally, but it's hard to pull off without being messy. Well done.
2: Over-simplistic. I say, could do with a light source from behind. Otherwise, fine.
3: Same vein as the second. Better though. Liking the lightly textured background.
4: Not spectacular, not awful either.
5: Once again, it's average. Doesn't have an immediate 'wow' factor, but it's satisfying and works well.

Third Batch

1: Lighten/Darken layer maybe? I think that's what you're better at, so this could have done with some of your skills.
2: Really nice. Simple, but the bold colours are amazing.
3: Nah, not really a fan. I think it's the style here more than anything that puts me off.
4: A little messy, in terms of composition, but it's nice. More grad-maps could help here.
5: Blend it more, colour-wise and render/background-wise, and all grand.
6: Stunning lighting and render, but it is seriously calling for a dark blue background.

Cheers for the mass review babycakes, you better keep yourself posted because I'm going to be uploading a few more tomorrow.

And that's two in favour of that piece so that's a good sign :D

Fourth Batch

1: A little strange, because of how little emphasis there is on the render but it's aesthetically pleasing.
2: Super pretty stuff. It's always my favourite style. Love it.
3: Good. Random red lighting on the render means lighting from behind though.
4: Nice to look at. Simple, but stylistically well done.
5: Feels too bright and too smooth, but that's sheer style. Overall, well done.
6: Could do with a subtle sharpen, but it's decent.

Fifth Batch

1: Contrast is nice. Still would have loved a Lighten layer for those dark tones. Preference on my half, but whatever.
2: I like it. Low number of tones is cool, and is really pleasing to look at.
3: Render feels squashed? Feels a bit forced and slapped-together really. A bit WIP-ish, but nowhere near bad.
4: Bokeh is cool here. Would have liked a light background to blend the render in. The dark brown feels off.
5: I like this one a lot. Not too much to say.
6: Probably needs some additional glowy lighting to enhance the style.

Sixth Batch

1: First flattone style is quite nice. Could be a /tad/ brighter, but that's all really.
2: Second seems messy, and could be sharpened.
3: Not my style, but it's bright and pretty.
4: Feels obscured and just not very interesting, but I think it's just how faded the greens are. Could be more saturated in a select few places.
5: Quite like this. Not the most amazing thing in the world, but very well done.
6: Simplistic. Could do with a very faint sharpen but that's it. Good.

Seventh Batch

1: Little dark, but it has a nice sheen to it.
2: It has a great sheen to it and luminosity. Bold and fun.
3: Love this one. And I'm not sure why but it might be the colours and glow. Dreamy.
4: Cool temperature and nicely contrasted. Could have more ambient lighting, but it has the basics.
5: Feels weird. The lighting feels unnatural, and too soft. Could do with a sharpen and some more depth.
6: Structurally quite flat, but it works extremely well as an avatar. I like it.
