NoshpalStefan
Had to read it for my 10th Grade English Class. Probably one of the better books that I've had to read in a longer time. Please discuss.
Umbra
This was actually the first full-fledged book that I read in English. For that, it will always hold a special place in my heart. That said, I haven't read it in almost seven years now, so my memory might be a bit hazy.

I mean it isn't a difficult book to read in my opinion, compared to Shakespeare or any other masterpieces of the English Language, but overall I really enjoyed the story and the symbolism of it. Umbra
I liked it, really did. Like you said, it's not a difficult book by any stretch of the imagination, but the themes and concepts it brings up are rather interesting. Writing-wise, it probably introduced me to the idea of multiple narratives, an idea that I have liked ever since. Following the main character meeting his five people, as well as his co-workers and family managing his death, was a concept I hadn't really encountered before in literature, and to my adolescent mind it was a very welcome change.
