But yeah, the added content to the battles made them so bossly. Unbelievably bossly.

Also, if it wasn't for the copious amounts of fan service that is Yoko and the ones already in the movie, I would have greatly engrossed myself.

That and the sudden change that happens in the setting. Damn Gainax endings.

Well, they may be anime movies, but they are still movies. Plus, the changes are significant enough I figured the movies deserved their own thread instead of just another TTGL thread.

And TTGL has a reverse Gainiax Ending, if anything. The [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYUPcK5bYSQ]opening scene[/url] makes little sense compared to the rest of the story that actually happens.
