Phantom Roxas
Kreix clapped at Haxzs's response. "Wonderful response, Haxz. As for my acquaintance, Xemyrom, don't expect him to be bossing you all around. His bloodline connection to Xehanort is really all that makes him worth speaking to. I'll leave you two the Replica, just leave the diaries to me."Kreix opened a Corridor, and made his way to Twilight Town. Kreix looked over the market, shaking his head. Why even bother leave some of these worlds around? The Organization needed hearts, and if a Keyblade Wielder truly showed out, then of course there was some way they could restore them. Feeling generous, Kreix let a single Shadow materialize. The Shadow went off on its own, while Kreix made his way to Xemyrom. He found the young man outside the old mansion."My apologies," Kreix beckoned to Xemyrom. "But I was unable to procure any diary pages."
Barian Warlord
Xemyrom waited outside of the old mansion where Ansem had hidden himself from the organization, it had become a museum in the time since it had been used for that purpose but interestingly Ansem's lab had not been discovered. Xemyrom noticed he had about an hour before he was to meet Kreix and had checked the museum and Ansem's lab finding a few pages that he was looking for and read through them before Kreix arrived, then when he did he came with the news that he had essentially done nothing. "Well that is disappointing especially with the good news I have, apparently there is a group of children who may be able to wield the Keyblade but I'm not sure, I wanted to keep my distance from the person who gave them the power. Also more recently I found some documents that give some details on something called the X-Blade which is the only way to utilize the power of Kingdom Hearts, though the only details about its construction is that you need to collect seven lights. With all that I hope you won't mind me checking my ancestral home on my search, would you?" Xemyrom had left out the important details like where he got the notes and that it was him who awoke the Keyblader's potential along with most of what he had found but he had given him enough to gain a level of trust if only a little. Yosuke-kun
Shuren's cheeks flushed as Balthazar spoke to him. Since he became an apprentice, he'd been desperately trying to better himself, trying to prove to Balthazar and himself as he was now realizing, that he was not going to be taken in by the darkness. Somehow he felt that Balthazar words put that all to rest. "Thank you master." he said quietly. While he enjoyed the moment, he knew that this wasn't something he would need to put aside for the time being. He took they saber, weighed it a bit, and decided it was a good enough match for him. Well, at the very least, I can move quickly with it. He tossed it through the air, letting it do a short little flip, then caught it at it's hilt. The balance was decent, but it wasn't what he was used to. It'd take a while before he got the hang of fighting with it. The iPhone was simple enough. Just the usual iPhone from the look of it. How it would get off planet service or if that'd cost extra wasn't important he supposed, else Xemyrom would have mentioned that As James accepted along with the others, Shuren couldn't help but allow himself a smile. He knew how James felt, but the fact that he was deciding not to give up was a good start. "well, it's not like we could leave ya alone here anyways man. You're just as much a team player as Viola, or Ryan, or any of us are. Ecen if you don't know it yet." That's when Ryan made the comment about Trevor headphones. Holding him back? He wasn't so sure about that. It was an endearing character trait after all, and he couldn't really picture Trevor without them. "Yeah, but who knows? Maybe it'll be his headphones that convey his hearts words?" he said with a large smile, but Ryan wasn't paying attention. He'd been remembering the day he lost his grandfather. Shuren wanted to say something comforting, but he honestly could not come up with words to raise Ryan's spirits. To be quite honest, Shuren didn't at all mind that Viola had denied a Keyblade. She'd proven that her magic was powerful enough to at least sustain herself in combat, and as she'd already pointed out, if she was meant to have one, it'd come to her. Not only that, but for some reason, Shuren preferred she stay further away from the fighting. Okay, now he was confused. Why did he want the person who was obviously their strongest fighter, at least for the time being, to stay outside the fighting? He shook his head and began to think of other things. Good thing too, because that's when an idea came to him. "Master Balthazar, I know that the worlds are all in serious danger, and that we really can't afford to waste time, but if it's all the same to you, could we leave tomorrow or the day after. There're a few things I want to do before leaving; and I don't want any of my other friends to worry too much when I disappear. That and the school might come looking for me..." He didn't actually care much about the school part. This was more important anyways, but he also needed some time to put together his scheme. Super Chaos Sonic
Mr. Spiky Spider carried Lock, Shock, and Barrel up Oogie's Manor as the knight followed closely behind. The Phantom greeted them at the entrance."Agh, who are you?" Lock screamed."It's just another Heartless," Shock retorted. "Don't be such a wimp." The Phantom shook its hood and looked to the Knight, who bowed before it. "The children wish to restore Oogie Boogie to his former… glory. We have come here to retrieve his corpse." The Phantom flew off. The others waited as the Phantom retrieved a worn out fabric."Hey, how did you find this?" "The Phantom has been helping you build this place.""You mean you two jerks have been slacking off? I knew we got this place done too quickly!""Hey, I thought you and Barrel were doing the heavy lifting!""So… none you noticed this place being built by hands other than your own?"No!""As if we'd expect a Heartless to be smart enough to build this place anyway!" After that remark, the Phantom waved its hand as a pale blue light formed around it, which it tossed right at Barrel, knocking the boy off of Mr. Spiky Spider. The light circled around the boy, hitting him every few seconds."Hey, leave Barrel alone!""The boy did not mind his manners." Barrel ran, as the others looked on. The light kept swinging and forth around him, knocking him down. The boy got back up, but was immediately knocked down once more. Barrel limped up onto his feet, and turned to the Phantom, tears forming in his eyes."Lock, Shock, help me!" Lock and Shock jumped off of Mr. Spiky Spider's shoulders, who grabbed them right away. The two children struggled to break free, as Barrel kept running towards them. He swung his hands against the Heartless leg, which it used to knock Barrel into the air. The white circle swung around Barrel once more, appearing behind his back and finally launching moving straight through him. Barrel fell to the ground, and Spider let go of Lock and Shock. Meanwhile, Zack had just finished getting word to Radiant Gardens about what was happening, although he was unsure if the transmission clearly got through or went to a different world entirely. This was about the time Zero zoomed into Jack's study and passed Zack, seeming in a huge panic about something. Ruff ruff! the ghostly dog frantically barked to the skeleton kid. "Whoa, Zero! Relax I can't understand anything your saying!" Zack said as he knelt down to Zero's level. "Now what has you scared like a human seeing my dad?" Zero barked once again as he rushed toward a few pictures on the wall and motioned toward Lock, Shock, and Barrel. "Those three? What happened??" Then the ghost dog began to almost reenact the events that occurred not too long ago. When he was finished, Zack stood up and nodded. "So Lock, Shock, and Barrel got attacked by another sort of creature and this one actually KILLED one of the three?" he asked, crossing his arms as he saw Zero nodding. "This isn't good at all...dad's too busy to deal with this and we won't have any help until they receive our transmission..." Zack sighed and then grabbed a scythe that he placed on his father's desk, quickly placing it on his back. "I guess I'll have to try and take care of this myself! At least warn dad about this, Zero." And with this, Zack went off to where the trio was and Zero went off to find Jack.
Phantom Roxas
"You said these notes would help provide information on matters of the Keyblade. Pardon me, but I'm curious as to what began this search. Did a page just fall into your lap once your business somewhere was complete, or is there more to it than that? This χ-blade of yours… Xemnas never did mention that. I suppose that was one of the things he and Saïx would crawl into hiding to discuss. As for these seven lights, do you mean the Princesses of Heart? They've all long since passed away. Unless… new hearts of pure light have been born. As for those children, leave them be. If they can wield the Keyblade, then I would love to see if that becomes true."[hr]What was going on with Viola? Ever since that young man showed up, she'd been angry. "Viola, I admire your enthusiasm, but we have to work together." Then Shuren came to Balthazar with an important question. "Don't worry about that. With my magic, no one will ever notice that you were gone." Xemyrom had left, but the weapons he materialized stay floating in the air. "Well, those weapons would probably suit you well before any of you get a Keyblade. Just don't hurt yourselves with them.[hr]Lock and Shock ran over to Barrel's body."You… You killed Barrel!" Lock shouted at the Phantom. The Phantom raised its arm, but the Silver Knight stepped forward."Pardon me," the Silver Knight said as he stepped between Lock, Shock, and the Heartless. "Given your relationship to the Superior, I understand I may be overstepping my boundaries, but might I suggest not killing everyone as you please? We need people alive so that we may harvest their hearts, after all."The Phantom rolled its hood around as the wisp it used to kill Barrel floated from the boy's body and into the Phantom's raised hand. A portal of darkness surround Barrel, and Lock and Shock held his hands closely. The darkness consumed Barrel as he slipped out of his friend's grasp. The Phantom let the heart float to the ground as a Wight Knight formed around it."Ah, my mistake. I've always found it quite repulsing, the way you Heartless increase your number." The Phantom loomed over the Silver Knight and tilted its hood. "Well, not that we Nobodies never benefit from it." He looked over at the two children, mourning their lost friend. "Although I doubt that the boy had the strength of will to produce so much as a Dusk.[hr]As Zack and Zero went off in pursuit of the three mischiefs, a white figure appeared behind him. Its long arms ended in large feet, holding the rest of the Creeper's body up. It swung its larger feet at a quick pace, chasing after the Skeleton Prince. Barian Warlord
Xemyrom listened to Kreix, it was obvious that he was trying to get more information from Xemyrom then he was willing to give but if he didn't want to disclose what had happened or how much he knew but he had to give him a story. "Lets just say I happened upon my quest for the pages and about the X-Blade I've told you what I have. I just wanted you to know about the Keybladers so you wouldn't try something desperate and potentially catastrophic. When you think about it if there were princesses of hearts in the past then there can probably be ones in the present of future, something along the lines of how you can't destroy matter and energy just change their form, even if the princesses of the past are gone the light of their hearts will take new forms." Xemyrom knew that Kreix would want more but he didn't want to tip his hand especially before he had search The Castle that never was.
Super Chaos Sonic
Trevor looked at Viola and then put the blade and sheath on the ground for a moment. "You really should listen to Balthazar on this Viola. I mean, at least choosing a weapon will help you utilize your strengths in combat. At least that's what one of the books Balthazar said..." he said as he shot her a smile, though she was still looking like she wasn't going to do anything. Jeez, something definitely is wrong with her... he thought, but then finally remembered what Shuren had mentioned about him and his headphones... A-A way to convey my heart's words? Trevor thought about that for a moment and then looked at his headphones before looking at Shuren. "Heh, maybe your right Shuren. If that is the case, it would be awesome!" [hr] Zack ran into the pumpkin patch near Curly Hill. He wasn't that far away from reaching Oogie's Manor and where the three, or rather...two were. However, as he kept running, he had a sort of chill run down his spine...literally. He grabbed the scythe on his back and skidded to a halt as he quickly turned around, tossing his hood over his head. That's when he saw it: a Creeper...it was only one, but Zack heard from his father that there were ALWAYS more than one. Kingdom Hearts II OST ~ Spooks of Halloween "My your a small and ugly little creature. Do you want a butt whoopin' little guy? Do ya?~" Zack asked, with a sort of ghostly grin. He rushed toward the Creeper as he released an onslaught of strikes with his scythe. I could beat him with my full power and my battle form, but I gotta save that and my full power for that other creature that killed Barrel...that one will cause more trouble than its worth. he thought. Mugendramon
Omcraxs raised an eyebrow as Haxz monologued and Kreix clapped. "Am I the only one in this WHOLE Organization who EVER took a biology class? Oh wait, I probably am. Who knows where you two even come from, it could just as easily be a world with medieval-level medicine. What am I saying, you probably don't even KNOW what medieval means, LOOOOONG story short, emotions are generated by your BRAINS. HEART OR NO HEART, you feel shit, It eats us away anyway. You just have a goddamn excuse to not feel a thing for what you DO. But I still feel it. I hear the SCREAMS of those I killed with Heartless. I am constantly RELIVING the screams of the one I lost to the Heartless. The ONLY reason I support your replica project, is so that no more innocents have to suffer for our acts." He took a deep breath, trying to calm down. He hadn't felt this much of anything in a long time. He had repressed his discomfort for long enough. The Warden
Haxz was unmoved by Omcraxs, more so, he felt somewhat, annoyed by him. "Believe what you want Marcos, but, know that right now, you're the only who believes that. If our Hearts didn't matter, why would the Heartless desire them so? It's because that's where our desire, our greed, our hatred, all that is negative and positive about us exist there. You might think your emotions are in your head, and frankly, that's why you still feel a damn thing. You THINK you have your emotions still intact, and that's why you still feel. But, let's face it, all that guilt, that sadness, not real. All you truly feel is the emptiness of lacking a Heart, that's all. It would help us all if you tossed them away; they're not necessary for rebuilding Kingdom Hearts."
Mugendramon
Omcraxs sighed and shrugged. He was sure that both he and Haxz knew all too well that this would go nowhere. "Right, right. All in my head. Only proves the fact that you haven't ever opened a textbook, but whatever. Banter isn't going to get your replica anywhere, is it? Let's just get going..." Raising his left hand, he opened the black circle of a Corridor in front of him. He... quickly shook his head and let it fade. "Right... I don't quite know where we're supposed to go anyway. ...And as for what you said about the Heartless... Maybe we've got them all wrong? Maybe what they actually look for is... the hearts themselves, and not their supposed content? You know, since they don't have those? What if, fully unaware that they actually spread the curse, they are only trying to get rid of it?"
The Warden
"Heartless are animated shadow and are monsters Marcos. All the Heartless do, is take Hearts, make more of them to go get more Hearts. There's nothing pure or wholesome about them. They exist purely to increase their numbers until all is Darkness. But their name is ironic, as the name was given only to the Purebloods, as they're just darkness of the Heart made animate. The Emblem Heartless carry Hearts within them, so, in some cases, they have Hearts. Didn't you notice the irony in Nobody as well? Nobody could mean no body, and yet, we're what's left after a Heart is stolen. A Body and Soul, void of a Heart. But, why defend the Heartless? They stole your life, they stole, Marcos himself; leaving only Omcraxs behind. You still pretend to feel emotion, doesn't that make you a touch bitter inside? Or hell, just f**king furious? If I actually cared enough for my old life I sure as hell would be."
Love of Ghibli
Nerhyx stepped out another portal and into another world. This time it was tropical, he found himself in the outskirts of a tropical beach setting and as he looked to the side he could see the beautiful ocean view off in the distance. For a second he wondered if he had moved to the right place. Luckily he turned around to see a rather odd looking bird just staring at him and while he had his full cloak on he walked up to the weird bird and he quickly realized it was mechanical. His shoulders sunk as he could tell where this was going. The bird's mouth opened wide, his eyes turned red, and a loud alarm noise rang throughout the entire island he had inhabited. Nerhyx immediately smashed the bird as it had annoyed him but soon after he found himself in quite the dilemma. In no time at all Nerhyx was surrounded by three flying rotating saucer piloted by what he defined to be henchmen. "This is going to be messy." He thought to himself as he was about to do a light workout sense he has been out of the action for so long hopping between worlds. He raised his hands in the air and gave a slight smirk sense no one could see his face with his cloak hood on. "State your business" one of the drone pilots ordered. Another one was radioing command to further inquire what do about this situation. The third just armed his guns. Nerhyx now amused simply turned to the armed one and the armed immediately opened fire. Unfortunately for it, Nerhyx's element was reflect so all of the bullets just bounced back at the vehicle causing it to shut down on itself. The other two were scared but Nerhyx didn't give one of them time to act on this fear. He simply turned to his next target and looked below the floating machine. From beneath the craft three gentlemen came with their blades drawn and pointed upwards. They easily skewered the machine and as it stopped rotating they tossed it elsewhere. The last remaining drone flew off in fear. "Hmmm that wasn't much of a workout at all. Then again I guess I did change my mind last second there." Nerhyx said as he sent a heartless to follow in the shadow of the flying hovercraft.
Phantom Roxas
There was no way Xemyrom would say everything. "Tell me more about these kids. We've searched months for the Keyblade, and now you say that there a several children with the potential to wield it?" Potential. That word didn't inspire much confidence in Kreix. The Replica was going to have a Keyblade, but if Omcraxs was right and the Replica turns on then, then maybe these kids would make for a good backup. Of course, Xemyrom had to reiterate Kreix's theory on the the hearts of pure light being reborn. "I see we're on the same page, then. Speaking of pages, I'm willing to indulge you for a little while longer. Come with me to the Castle, and we'll see what we can do about that little diary of yours."He opened a Corridor, returning to The Castle That Never Was. For whatever reason, Haxz was arguing with Omcraxs. The Number III was always asking so many questions, and Haxz giving a condescending response really didn't phase Kreix anymore. "I hope I'm not interrupting. I've returned with the young man I spoke of before."
Barian Warlord
Xemyrom listened to Kreix and followed him through the Corridor of Darkness where he saw two Nobodies arguing and from what he could piece together it was about one of the Nobodies trying to deny that he had lost his emotions when he became a Nobody, a weakness Xemyrom knew he may be able to use but then he knew he would need to explain a few things to Kreix. "About the children I was telling you about, after seeing a Nobody fleeing through a Corridor of Darkness I followed its trail and found a group who were apparently undergoing a ceremony to allow them to use the Keyblade, though apparently they would still have to prove themselves or something I was to worried about the person preforming the ceremony noticing me to get any closer. Now could either of your friends here help me with what I'm looking for?"
Nexev
In the streets of manhattan, not very far from where the apprentices were a large scream echoed. The screams emanated out of the extremly powerfu vocal cords of a frail old man, approaching the men where three heartless, tw of them were small and squat, with red mohawks that were half of their hieght, wearing what looks like leather jackets, these two Greasers joined with a Large Body esque heartlss, its face was covered by the bright orange hoodie it wore over its streatched green shirt, the shirt with the heartless emblem proubly emblazoned, a large boombox that semed to have a face was carred on it's left shoulder. This Hit Hop advanced menancingly on it's prey, this old man was specifically requested to be offed by the boss and the boss gets what he asks for. The promise of darkess to tempting for any self respecting heartless to turn down, even if it had to get its hands squeaky. The old man cursed it;s fate, he needed to warn Balthazar of the upcoming trouble, he was running out of time and these heartless were certainly not helping him. Mugendramon
Omcraxs had a reply for him. He knew what he'd say to Haxz. He repeated it once again, in his head, pretending to be thoughtful. That's just his perception. That's just what everybody assumes, that's what everyone THINKS about these creatures. But I know. I know I saw my fiancée turn into a Heartless. And she looked at me with those god damn yellow eyes... And I knew she regretted what she was doing as she crawled closer... and as she dug into me like the Neoshadows. He started to feel his eyes grow moist, so he quickly suppressed the though. Instead, he noticed both Haxz and himself were both, suddenly, standing back at the halls of the Castle. So now he had something to say. "S***, what just happened? I could have sworn we were at that castle in the Radiant Garden just now. Was that Lexamus or...? Probably Lexamus, old asshole just LOVES messing with us." Suddenly Kreix showed up with a shoom, through a Corridor. With him came a scary black man, dressed in a particularly concealing fashion. And Omcraxs disliked particularly concealing fashion, except for the Organization cloaks. Those he rather enjoyed. Now, being in the mood he currently was in, he was quick to snap at the newcomer's request. "How about fuck no. We have other things to do kid. In fact, should we not get going now, Haxz?" Premier Alexander Romanov
Lightning woke with a start, and realized she was upside-down. Upon further inspection, she was in the cockpit of some sort of vehicle, but the lights weren't working. Furthermore, the strange vehicle seems to have been damaged, as water was slowly leaking in through a crack in the glass, and the dark, rocky bed of some body of water resided beyond the canopy. She unbuckled herself and rolled onto the "roof" of the ship, checking for any other survivors, but she was alone. Wherever she was or whenever she was, she was on her own. She did manage to find an emergency inflatable raft, and held onto it, as she needed it to escape. Only the metallic taste of blood in her mouth caused her to stop briefly to inspect herself. She had a pretty nasty head wound, which might explain why she can't remember why she got here. Another rummaging of supplies revealed a medical kit, and using what little light the malfunctioning equipment within the craft was producing combined with the reflection of the glass canopy, she patched herself up. Finally, she turned back to the crack in the glass, and withdrew her Blazefire Saber, pointing it at the fracture. She took in a deep breath, and squeezed the trigger, causing water to flood the cabin and for a way to escape her wreck to be made. She started swimming upwards through the murky darkness, and eventually reached the surface within about 40 feet. She found herself in the middle of a lake in the middle of a forest in the middle of...a city? Yes, tall buildings rose up around the lake, and the woods around it. She pinpointed the nearest shore and swam towards it, eventually reaching a place where she could crawl up out of the water and rest. Lightning evaluated her situation as she regained her breath and let some of the water dry from her clothes and gear. She was on an unknown planet, when she had been in the Tangled Continuum not long ago. She had obviously escaped, but could not recall the circumstances. She was tired, low on supplies, and appeared to be in the middle of a large metropolis. Surely, there had to be someone here that could help her. After a few minutes' reprieve, she finally got up and started walking in an arbitrary direction. She eventually learned she was in "Central Park" in the city of "New York", though she stuck out like a sore thumb, with different clothing and even hair. The city center appeared to be south of her position, so she changed course in that direction. After observing the local customs, she discovered how to cross the bustling thoroughfares of the city, and made her way to a street vendor, advertising some sort of meal called a "hot dog", but for an unknown currency instead of Munny. Was she outside of the jurisdiction of Moogle traders? In fact, the technology around her didn't seem as advanced as it was in most of the Continuum, while there was barely any hints of magic around her. This world was...wrong...yet it appeared untouched by the Heartless. Here, she could be safe, but she was still a stranger in a strange land. After a good walk through the streets, she reached what appeared to be some sort of city square, with flashing neon billboards advertising brands she had never heard of, a crowd of people walking everywhere, and some of the strangest sights she had ever encountered, such as a man wearing nothing but a hat, a pair of boots, a pair of sunglasses, and a smile called the "Naked Cowboy". Lightning found a bench and sat down, resting once more and clutching her injured head while trying once more to figure out how she got here. The Warden
Omcraxs was thinking intently, no doubt he was going to try and find some straws to grasp at to justify his statement and- no, just, no way. Was he actually crying? Those were definitely small pools in his eyes. Lol, what a pansy. And he only JUST realized that they were back in the Castle? Course, the statement did have Haxz to look around idly. "Your memory must be getting worse Omcraxs, we followed Kreix back through his Corridor of Darkness." Then came the little titch Kreix was all droolin about. He didn't seem all that impressive, though, it does beg the question as to how Xehanort even bred when he was just a creepy old man with a fixation for teenagers. "Yes, we have business that revolves around the Organizations ACTUAL aim. We'll leave you two alone." Before summoning his Corridor, Haxz gave Omcraxs a 'we'll talk about this later' look and then he summoned his portal. [hr] It spat him out at Ansem the Wise's computer, and Haxz immediately got to work, reconnecting the hard drive to the terminal. "Okay TRON, find me those backups, and remember, no funny business." Mugendramon
"B-but we were clearly standing in that tower not three minutes ago..." Omcraxs saw the look on Haxz face, he wasn't getting anywhere. He felt like he was arguing with a wall. A very specific wall, though... Not the first, second, or third. He finally convinced himself that he wasn't ever going to make Haxz listen to him. Trying his best to avoid eye contact with Kreix while still attempting to visibly show the black man a dose of scorn, Omcraxs followed Haxz through the corridor he had created. He came out coughing. "I have to stop travelling through Corridors without my cloak. I'm going to nuts one of these days." The Nobody looked up at the GLORY OF THE ALMIGHTY TERMINnnnot really it looked like a big control panel. It wasn't positioned to look particularly glorious though, being in the corner of the room and all. As Haxz inserted the Flash Drive, Omcraxs couldn't help but wonder what the hell Number II was doing. "What the hell are you doing?"
The Warden
Haxz held an aloof hand to the terminal. "I'm collecting the Sora backups, and his friends too with the aid of TRON. This was his home after all" "Indeed he is new USER. Ansem the Wise wasn't exactly keen on keeping his files in order, but, all the major datafiles were kept in the DTD." That was a new reference. "What;s the DTD?" "The DTD is the major data hub in the computer world. I am currently accessing it to locate the backups you so desperately desire." "It's not desperation TRON, it's just something we need immediately. Besides, I thought you'd be overjoyed to have Sora walking about again after all this time." "Just not like this." Love of Ghibli
After a long bout of traveling Nerhyx emerged at the bottom of a volcano or what looked like a volcano. It didn't take long for him to realize that there was enough heavy machinery on this island to elicit war. He nodded as this meant he was in the right place. The only thing he could do now was go on to his target. Hopefully the man would not be surprised by his presence. Nerhyx began walking to the base of the volcano and he saw a little passageway for which seemed to be like guest along the side. Naturally he took that path. After walking through the sliding doors he would see that there was a nice set of trials and tribulations ready for him. Minions, minions were already armed to the teeth and they seemed to be ready. Nerhyx's head sunk as he simply wanted an audience with this villain. "Why does this one have to require such work?" He said out loud. He could hear safeties going off and the men were ready. But he realized he did get that second opportunity to exercise that he wanted. With a song in his head he ran forward into combat. With bullets being fired at him he went into an immediate slide knocking some of the guards off their feet dodging the gunplay. After quickly regaining his footing he proceeded to enter close range combat with the henchman. Needless to say they were no match for the Nobody. A slap to the face here and a kick to the chest there sent these grunts flying all over the place. It was rather entertaining Nerhyx thought to himself. After successfully incapacitating the guards he ran into a control room where of course more henchmen were ready but this time they came with grenade launchers, jet packs, and more grenade launchers. Embracing the challenge he ran straight into what seemed to be some control room surrounded by computers, terminals, and a myriad of other doo-dads. It was interesting to see people open fire in an area where precious electronics were kept. Nerhyx jumped off the balcony area where he was and called forth his sword. Coated in his reflective abilities he smacked every grenade launched at him back where it came from. he was having a good time watching the explosions go off. As he cleared this most recent area with maximum damage done to the room the alarms wet off. "Really? They go off now. Oh well means more exercise for these old bones." He walked down another hallway and was making quick work of all of the poor minions that were coming his way. One would think that they would learn their lesson. He had cleared enough enemies till he made his was to a large circular room. "Who would design a place like this? I have yet to seen a place where one would use the facilities? Doesn't seem too practical to me." In the center of the massive room arose a large back ball. Nerhyx raised an eyebrow as this ball then sprouted a tiny head. This head initially had a red visor but then that visor turned green, then some rainbow color, then a bunch of other colors. It then proceeded to scan Nerhyx and apparently the entire side of the room he was one. Nerhyx rolled his eyes as his patience was wearing thin until he was almost caught off guard when ball shot a massive claw just above his head.AHA Gotcha hero! Said this strange voice from inside the room. clearly it was some intercom system. Nerhyx looked around trying to figure out where the camera's were, but he instead he saw the wraith that had been trailing him this whole time caught in the claws grasp. "Hmm and here I thought Nobodies were immune to such devices. Well this worked out well." So now that your drone is gone you won't be able to do all of that fancy hero stuff you were doing before. Say goodnight! Nerhyx could only chuckle because never before has someone referred to him as a hero. In fact he was the opposite but still this was enjoyable. The ball creature rolled towards him with the sole intention to kill but Nerhyx simply jumped to the side. It then tried to you the laser beam approach but Nerhyx deflected those like he did the grenades. "Why this is starting to be some real good sport here..." Nerhyx said jokingly "but I grow tired and now we must put an end to morning exercises" The giant black ball of doom rolled towards Nerhyx and he simple stuck his sword through it and it didn't flinch. The robot eventually shutdown. "Now whoever it is out there controlling this...place. I request the use of your facilities and an audience. I seek no harm and trust me I am not a hero." After the blatant display of skill he put on the man on the intercom had no choice but go with Nerhyx's request. Um yeah down the hall and too your left it right pass the nondescript vending machines. After about a half hour after using the facilities Nerhyx found himself taking a grand tour of the place. It was actually quite nice in its design in a future sleek kind of manner. He arrived to the main control room where it seems his target was already waiting for him. Nerhyx looked at this man with his overtly stylized orange hair and long flowing white cape. The man was looking out the window at his island view which was funny because he was clearly trying to hard to look mysterious and cool. He turned to meet Nerhyx's gaze but that would be hard to do since Nerhyx is wearing a hood the entire time and wasn't taking it off. So what's your business stranger? If you aren't a hero I just want you to know up front I don't do supervillain team-ups. The Union doesn't pay enough for that. "I am simply here to supply you with a new workforce."What that makes no sense, I have all the minions I need and I'm working on something really big here so what do I need you for? By something big you mean that ball creature I took care of correct?OOOOh you destroy a mini prototype and you think that gives you the right to come in here and boast. You know what screw your workforce, I bet they suck just like you and further more... It was a this point that the stranger who hadn't even introduced himself started rambling about his superiority and other vague topics. Somehow this became about his apparent childhood and the traumas he suffered at the hands of his idol. Nerhyx not to be the one to waste time decided to give this man a first hand demonstration showing the full potential of the new "workforce." While this man was talking his lovely control room was being covered in darkness as if the lights were steadily going off and what was more fun is that Heartless of various shapes and sizes now filled his little area and this supervillain of sorts learned saw this seemingly magical army breaching his personal space and his island. Soooo magic? "Correct" I can get behind magic. It looks like we have a deal so how much do I owe you...Mr. Spooki-spook? "Call me what you will but my employer doesn't require compensation. Call this a free bee? The villain raised an eyebrow in skepticism and Nerhyx was almost getting annoyed with this gesture. Why can't people just take a good thing at face value though this was understandable. Hmmm sounds fishy but I can't argue with these results so lets shake on it. He extended his hand, "The name is Syndrome" "Nerhyx and I'm glad to be doing business with you" Same here. Nerhyx actually stayed on the island for a little while before leaving seeing it as a mini-vacation from all the work he had been doing. He had one world left on his list to visit and he couldn't really make much sense of it. Though all of these travels made him wonder what the other Nobodies were busy doing. There was no doubt in his mind that Kreix would give him some honors for his work.
Mugendramon
Omcraxs raised his eyebrows. The computer itself might not have been the most impressive he'd ever seen, but TRON was indeed rather impressive. "A living avatar of the mainframe? He sounds amazingly useful, but not very cooperative. Perhaps we should, I don't know, make him talk." The Nobody did realize the sprite was actually intending to do as told, but this seemed to him like a one in a million chance to act both innocently and in an incredibly cruel manner. "Surely a computer as advanced as this one would have a tool as simple as MS Paint, would it not? I reckon we can get very accurate information with the right methods. Heh heh." The Warden
"MS Paint? Are you seriously suggesting something that juvenile?" "MS Paint? Please, allow me to check for that. Searching! Searching! Ah here we go and, ooops. My apologies USER, I accidentally deleted it's run.exe file while handling it. Oh well, your doodling would surely distract us from our goal at hand wouldn't it?" Haxz snickered a little. TRON was certainly a lot more savvy than his desperation let on. "I wonder if you could infest him with a Heartless or a Nobody, a Nobody computer program. How would that work out? Or sound actually? RONxT? TORxN? NORxT? ORxTN? Eh, names can be figured out later."
Phantom Roxas
The scream of the old man echoed, catching Balthazar's attention. "We have to go," Balthazar said before bolting through the door. He followed the direction from where the cry for help came, not waiting for his apprentices. He figured they would catch up to him anyway. He say the three Heartless, and all the other people were running around, save for the frail old man cowering in fear of of the Hit Hop. One Greaser chased after a man, but was suddenly consumed by flames. Balthazar had his hand outstretched, keeping his eyes on the Hit Hop. "So now there are Heartless. The Organization has to be speeding things up now." The large Heartless turned a bit to look at Balthazar, then nodded at the remaining Greaser to go take care of him. Balthazar gathered an plasma bolt and launched it at the Greaser, blasting it to smithereens. The Hit Hop fully turned away from the old man, charging at Balthazar. It held its boombox up high, slamming it into the ground. Balthazar launched another plasma bolt at the Hit Hop, but it held up the boombox as the face on it swallowed the bolt. The boombox was surrounded with electrical energy before smiling. The Hit Hop ran full speed at Balthazar, but the sorcerer blasted a gust of wind at the ground, launching himself into the air and launching three fire balls at the Heartless. Balthazar landed in front of the old man. "What are you doing? Get out of here!" [hr] "Am I that unwelcome in my own castle?" Kreix said, pretending to be offended. "Oh well, I find it unlikely that you'll be speaking with them. Now then, you sound like you've been here for once or twice, but allow me to give you a tour of this place." Kreix snapped his fingers, and Lexyk and Doxfer appeared. Jumpsuit was clinging to Doxfer's front left leg. Kreix facepalmed at the pitiful display. "What is that doing here?" Lexyk bowed his head. "My apologies, Superior. This Dusk says he desires your approval." "Well I will most certainly grant that if he's going to grovel. Send him to Halloween Town." Doxfer laughed. "Oh man, you're sending him to the Phantom? Hah, sounds good to me!" A Corridor of Darkness opened, and Doxfer kicked, throwing the Dusk through it. Kreix turned back to Xemyrom. "I'm sure you're well acquainted with these two now. As powerful as I am, I can't be too careful to keep a nice personal guard around.""And you like our company, right, boss?""Now then, Xemyrom, follow me." Kreix led Xemyrom to the library, where Gamblers and Deadbeats were playing games with each other. They scrambled at the sight of the Superior, making a run for it. "Hey, don't you all got work to do!?" Doxfer said with a laugh. Lexyk slapped his fellow Paladin across the head. "Be quiet in the library." "You're a real buzzkill, you know that?""Anyway, Xemyrom, this place seems the most sensible place to start, don't you think. Look across the shelves and see what you can find." Kreix opened a few drawers, searching through scraps of paper. Lexyk approached him and whispered. "I must apologize, but why must we indulge him? The others have been hard at work gathering forces. Why waste time on this deluded spawn of Xehanort?""This diary he's so keen on completely might help us. Once he's translated it, I don't care, feed him to the Heartless or something." Lexyk nodded and bowed, but was conflicted between satisfaction and disappointment with his master's answer. Still, it's not like he had any reason to question any further. [hr] The Creeper swung its larger "feet" at Zack. It barely knew a thing, just that it really hated this Zack guy for some reason. It dodged some of the strikes, but some of them hit. Three, it counted. Suddenly, Jumpsuit appeared through a Corridor of Darkness and was aiming right at the Creeper, but it coiled around the even weaker Nobody. The Dusk exchanged looks with the Creeper and Zack. Delighted to have help, Jumpsuit pounced at Zack, and so did the Creeper. [hr] Meanwhile, at Radiant Garden, the Possessors had at last finished consuming Hollow Bastion. The spires of the castle rearranged into horns, and the structures protruding from the side had turned into appendages that supported the castle as it broke away from its foundation. Doors of the castle were locked shut, each one guarded by two djinn-like Heartless. Gargoyle Knights and Gargoyle Warriors could be seen all across the balconies of the castle. The fake Heartless symbol engraved into the front of the castle was gone, and in its place sat two golden eyes. The castle was now a Heartless unto itself, and contained within it was the Keyhole to the heart of the world. The Heartless could never access it, but all of the Possessors had now created a massive Heartless. The Nightmare Palace roared, warning the whole of Radiant Garden that it was ready to consume all of the hearts in the world.
Love of Ghibli
For his last stop for a while Nerhyx walked out of his corridor of darkness and stepped into what seemed to be just an ordinary road. He shrugged as he still didn't understand what he was actually looking for in this world, but the end goal is simple he would simply spread the influence of the heartless across this plane. He took one step and then he felt an immense pain in his stomach. He didn't even know he could feel pain. But as he rolled over he was completely engulf by some orb of darkness and he lost consciousness. When he regained consciousness he blinked a couple of times, but he realized his horizon line was barely above the ground. Yet for some strange reason he didn't not feel his body on the ground. He tried to move his fingers when he realized he didn't really have that sensation anymore. With his curiosity peeked he decided to travel, seeing as he didn't understand why he doesn't have the use of legs, to what looked like a nearby abandoned gas station when he looked in the reflection all he could see was a car looking back at him. After closer inspection he actually realized that the car was actually looking back at him as it had eyes. Even after more analysis he realized that this was a reflection so that meant he was looking at himself... "Oh my Lord...I'm a car." This new revelation took Nerhyx by surprise. He knew there was a chance that other worlds would have some effect on him but this was unheard of. Luckily he was alone so no one was able to witness that embarrassing display of self realization.
